Right in front of him was a transparent room with a human sitting in it with a blank expression on his face but what was weird was that there were different types of wires and tubes passed across his body.
There were about six people waking in the room wearing lab coats and others standing outside wielding guns with knifes hung in their waist.
"What is this?" Raphael asked in utter astonishment.
"This is the future of the world, a new type of creature that will rule the world."
"No, not that, why is there a living human experiment being conducted in your private lab."
"You know this is against the law of the country right?"
The old man scoffed and said "The law? The government? None of them matters anymore, soon enough once it is right the government itself would crumble down on itself!"
Raphael watched in astonishment as his father, the senator of Lagos, honorable Amos the major city of the country spoke words of the very government that he represented
"What do you mean by that father?"
He didn't respond but just walked into the room and said
"Conduct a test run, I want to see the improvements in his physique lately"
The men in white coat complied and released the man from the chains although the tubes were still in his body and said
"Perform test run project 3"
The man on the seat stood up and walked towards the corner of the room and only now did Raphael discovered that there were punching bags, weights and other physical equipments lying in the room.
He walked to the punching bag and threw a heavy blow.
He looked like any little breeze could throw him off at any time but the moment his punch landed on the bag, it was thrown back and a huge dent was shown on it!!
A huge dent because the bag was made of iron from the inside out.
"That is the customized iron bag my men made from one of the hardest iron known. Just that punch alone was enough to destroy a tank utterly!"
Senator Amos turned to look at his son and asked "What do you think of this now, tell me how does that look?"
"what is that no, who is that, what did you do to him to make him such a monster?"
Senator Amos smiled and said "Trust me son, I didn't do anything to it we met it like this."
"I don't understand and also why do you call him 'it'"
"Yes, it because he was bitten by a dog and suddenly turned to this"

Raphael's mouth twitched and his face scrunched up.
"Father, what do you mean by this? A dog bit him and now he's a dog man or what?"
"No it's not that according to the research we conducted we also had that thought or that something was wrong with the dog but we discovered that he had been changing into something else already, his genes were already different from the normal humans.
"Do you get this?" Amos said with a frantic expression on his face.
"He's evolving, millions of years after the evolution of humans a new genus of humans are emerging! When the dog bit him, the direction of his evolution was directly disrupted and he changed to become somewhat of having animal and human instinct"
"We took him in and put him under control and surveillance and here we are with a superhuman capable of taking on a tank with his bare hands in our control!"
"Why do you think the government is being so conservative with the recent news and reports? Times are changing boy and we need to catch up to survive and retain our position at the top."
"This is our path, the path for our family to retain it's position and rise even more" Amos said with enthusiasm.
"What about his family?" Raphael asked
"He's dead to the outside world already that's it and no more questions."
Amos turned around and said
"You want to know who framed Daniel? This is the best tracker I can offer and there's no more questions because I'm already being considerate"
"He will bring the impersonator in and retrieve the money he stole that's all"
Senator Amos said and turned back to leave the room leaving Raphael behind still wondering what everything was all about and why the world suddenly seemed so weird.
