Chapter 1 - Chapter 6

Hannah strode out of the room angrily, and she came down with long and heavy steps. She was feeling guilty for shouting like that, but he was the one who was completely making it difficult to make him understand, and not to forget, he also threw false assumptions at her.

She had self-respect too, but the opportunity had already gone, and she didn't see anything for her to keep quiet. This type of man thought they were better than girls. But no, they were just making themselves fall into other people's eyes.

Aaron Moore, a hero of a new age, enjoyed true fame comparable to that of celebrities. He has even been invited to the premieres of several dramas, as well as having a crush on every female in New York. Hannah, on the other hand, despised this sort of man.

When she entered the living area, she saw Mr. and Mrs. Moore talking in whispers. They stopped whatever they were talking about when they noticed her presence. Olivia faked coughing and smiled.

"Mrs. Moore, I apologise for the inconvenience, but I have unexpectedly been assigned urgent work. I'm going to leave immediately. Thank you very much for inviting me."

"Ahhh, what are you saying? Dinner is ready, and..." Hannah interrupted Mrs. Moore.

"No, Mrs. Moore. I won't be able to join you for dinner today. Maybe some other time. I'm not in a good mood either, so please excuse me this time." Hannah smiled bitterly.

"We sincerely apologised. As I already stated, my son is really disrespectful. "

"Yes, not just impolite, but totally insane. You should either give him some sense or admit him to a mental facility. I am happy I didn't marry him." she murmured the last part in her mouth while Mr. and Mrs. Moore simply chuckled at her comments, which annoyed her. She was disparaging their son, and they were laughing as if she had just given them a joke.

She couldn't stop herself from snorting, "I will take my leave now." She started heading out of the living room and towards the main entrance, but she came to a halt when she heard Mr. Moore.

"Don't you want to work with Moon Enterprise?"

She stood there for a while, collecting her confidence and scolding herself for going to that psycho's room. She turned to respond.

"Mr. Moore, I'd want to, but not right now since I saw and spoke with your son. I felt like I didn't deserve to work with such a narcissist since he treats me with such respect." Allen grinned as Olivia's heart skipped a beat as she wondered why she suddenly didn't want to work with them. It was a wonderful opportunity for her to build her brand.

Hannah disliked lying; thus, she was always honest. It had landed her in trouble a few times, but for some reason, she didn't like lying for prolonged periods of time. If you go right to the point, you will become entangled in a web of unpleasant life events.

"Mulberry is a nice brand that is slowly but steadily gaining popularity... Don't you think it's a good idea to join our company?"

"Yes, it's a great idea. Don't get me wrong; your son is an arrogant person. This is the kindest way I can describe him. I can't work with him; I suppose it's just bad luck that I can't control my emotions and always speak the truth." Hannah completed speaking, bit her bottom lip, and turned to depart but was halted again.

"Not everyone is given the opportunity to work at Moon Corporation. Think carefully before making a decision. You're not good at marketing, and you don't have any market influence or relationships."

He was right. She was lacking in many things; she had just begun her own brand, but it does require assistance, and working with Moore was a great chance that she would never have again. Hannah would be a fool to give it up for a frivolous fight.

The major goal was to give her brand the market prominence it deserved. She exhaled after completely collecting everything in her head. She turned around and nodded again, stating she needed Moore's assistance. With a determined mindset, she refocused her thoughts on the task at hand.

"Come to the company tomorrow; the contract will be handed to you then." Hannah nodded, her heart bursting with joy.

Also, one of the key drivers of your success will be your entrepreneurial skills and your commitment to running a business. In order to be successful, you should think of yourself as a CEO first and a fashion designer second.

The door suddenly opened, and Zade entered and smiled when he saw Hannah in their house. He was happy to see her, but she smiled sadly. He was aware that something had occurred during his absence.

"Oh son. You are back." Mrs. Moore said

"Am I missing something?" he asked, looking at them with a smile. He just came after meeting Marianne after his business meeting.

"Yes, a very interesting story. Your mother will fill you in." Mr. Allen said, while Hannah just frowned but didn't say anything.

"How are you, Hannah?" He asked, turning his attention to her.

"Brother Zade, I'm alright. Do you want to meet, Marianne?" Hannah couldn't help but tease him since she could see a small grin emerge on his face. He simply shrugged lazily, at which she giggled.

"Oh, these young generations these days." Mrs. Moore sighed as Mr. Moore made his way to his room to refresh himself. After he left, Aaron entered the living room but grimaced at seeing Hannah still there.

"You are still here?" He questioned. Hannah just snorted while Olivia scolded him to not be mean to Hannah.

"Why don't you leave my house? I don't like seeing you walk and sit." Hannah just disregarded the man and sat on the sofa in the living room. While Mrs. Moore exchanged glances with Zade, he excused himself to change before returning for dinner with everyone.

Hannah ignored the glaring stares at her, not that she wasn't aware of them. She reasoned that if she wanted anything from Moore's, she had to keep her mouth shut in the most unusual situations.

And now, she realised, Aaron was expecting her to shout like she did in his room, while he remained silent during the meal. He tried to remain cool by making the girl succumb and throw tantrums as she did in his room, but to his surprise, she was muted until the dinner was finished.

Hannah stood and walked to Mrs. Moore.

"Aunty Olivia, that's a delicious meal. I absolutely enjoy your cooking. Didn't your hands have some sort of magic?" Olivia responded with a bashful giggle, while Aaron rolled his eyes at her comments. He couldn't say anything because she was blatantly buttering his mother.

"My dear, the doors are always open for you. Come meet this old woman from time to time, and I will cook delicious meals for you." Hannah bowed in appreciation.

Aaron watched his brother and mother accompany her out the door as though she were very precious to them. He'd just met this odd girl a few minutes before, and now he wanted to throw her out and slam the door in her face. He kept his cool, though, and watched as his brother and mother enthusiastically welcomed her into their family.

Aaron had always been protective of them and was wary of anyone who seemed to get too close too quickly. However, he couldn't deny the warmth and kindness that radiated from this girl, and he found himself intrigued by her. As he sat in the living room, listening to the sound of his family laughing and chatting with their new guest, Aaron couldn't help but wonder what kind of impact this girl would have on their lives. Would she be a fleeting presence, or would she become a permanent fixture in their lives? Only time would tell.
