Chapter 5 - Chapter 4: The World of Dragons

Perfect—this is where the true magic

The throne room of the Palace of Accord was quiet—save for the gentle ticking of the massive gear-shaped window, and the soft hum of energy that always filled Tet's realm.

He floated above the central game board, fingertips steepled, eyes alight with anticipation.

"System," he said. "Let's begin constructing my first playable world."

[Confirmed. Game World Synthesis Mode activated.]

A radiant, rotating orb appeared in front of him—pulsing with the essence of a universe waiting to be born.

[Selected Game: The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.]

Tet grinned. "Let's see if the Thu'um echoes properly across a real sky."

The system pulsed.

[Initializing world framework. Please wait… Generating terrain… Constructing ecosystems… Populating lore anchors… Placing questlines… Embedding NPC awareness…]

The orb began to unravel, expanding outward like a universe in miniature. Mountains burst from nothing. Snow-drenched pine forests took root. Storms rolled in from the Sea of Ghosts. Cities—Whiterun, Solitude, Riften, Windhelm—rose into form, shaped down to the tiniest detail. Civil war rumbled beneath the surface. Dragons circled high above the Throat of the World.

It was not a replica.

It was Skyrim.

Living. Breathing. Real.

Each citizen had thoughts, dreams, routines. Each dungeon lay in wait. Every book could be read. Every shout spoken in the Dragon Tongue carried true power. Even the stars in Skyrim's sky glowed with the constellations of the Guardian Stones.

Tet hovered in place, arms folded, watching it all unfold with an artist's pride.

Then came the final seal.

[Containment Protocol: Active.]

A brilliant silver lock shimmered into existence over the new world—encasing it, anchoring it to its own dimensional space.

[Note: All game worlds are self-contained dimensions. Entry is restricted. Only those granted a World Key by Tet may pass through the veil.]

Tet nodded. "Just as I planned. No accidents. No invasions. These aren't simulations—they're sacred. And mine."

He stretched lazily, the key forming in his hand—long, slender, obsidian black with a dragon coiled around the handle.

"One for Skyrim."

He tossed it gently into the air and let it vanish into storage.

The system chimed again, more energetically than usual.

[Game World Creation Complete.]

[New Quest Unlocked: "Pantheon's Curiosity"]

[Objective: Complete one additional high-tier game world.]

[Reward: Full access to God of War (2018) and 1,000 game credits.]

Tet blinked. Then let out a low whistle. "Oh? Kratos, is it?"

He laughed to himself, his voice echoing through the throne room like a melody.

"A world of gods and monsters. Vengeance and fatherhood. I do love contrast."

The system displayed the new quest parameters in glowing text across the board.

He snapped his fingers, summoning a drawer from the air, and filed the quest away with exaggerated flair.

"Skyrim… complete. First key forged. Let's see who's worthy to walk your paths."

He looked toward the shimmering orb still rotating in space.

"Soon," he whispered, "the players will arrive."

And below, in the real world, fate stirred.
