Chapter 15 Method and Problem
"This water is infinite in itself, but based on the World Rules, it will lose its flowing Strength at the eighth Block, but for places descending from high places, this situation will not occur at all!"
Tony Stark held a piece of Meat in his hand, took a bite, and explained to the two of them.
"And then what?" Fang Bie sat at the table listening to his explanation. He already knew what Tony had just said; this was inherently a Characteristic of infinite water.
Tony Stark casually took out a Block from his body and gently placed the floating Block on the table instead of placing it on the Ground.
"This Block represents the Cave we're staying in."
He then retrieved the Bucket of Water from before and placed it next to the Block.
"This is a Bucket of Water brought from this World."
He slowly poured out a little Water, directly submerging the entire floating Block.
"We live in a Cave, and there's no Water source in the entire Cave except for drinking Water. This means they wouldn't deliberately build drainage equipment in the Cave because there's no need at all!"
Tony Stark now felt like he was standing at a press conference, announcing his brand-new product to everyone.
"If I have a Bucket of Water like this, and operate it correctly, letting it pour down from the top of the Cave, I can find a suitable fulcrum in the constantly descending Cave and use the Water flow to submerge the entire Cave!"
Tony Stark finally revealed his ultimate goal. After he said this, the two people who had been somewhat dazed finally understood.
"You mean... using the Characteristic of infinite water to directly flood the Cave?" Fang Bie understood this Characteristic more thoroughly than the other two. He had done something similar in the Game – using one Block of Water to flood an entire Snowfield. He had actually designed it that way when he was bored.
Moreover, reality is different from the Game. In this World, if a Water source wants to stop flowing, it must be on completely flat Ground for eight Blocks.
However, because many Places in this World are composed of various Blocks, achieving this goal is easy.
But in their real World, how could there be completely flat Areas?
Fang Bie had even imagined the terrified faces of those terrorists when they encountered these Water flows.
It's said that Water is the source of Life, but Water is also one of the most terrifying disasters in this World!
"But... once you pour all the Water into the Cave, wouldn't we be unable to breathe at all?" Ethan thought more, and more comprehensively, than the other two, which is why he considered the loophole in this Plan.
In that Cave, directly using the Characteristic of infinite Water to pour Water flow into it would mean losing the Space they depended on for survival. Before those bandits drowned, they would suffocate to death in the Cave.
"I'm not too sure about that. You can ask Fang; he should have an answer." Tony Stark made his signature hand-spreading gesture. "This is also the problem within the problem that I don't know how to solve. We don't have any underwater breathing equipment at all, I'm afraid we'll die with them."
Fang Bie gently pointed with his finger at the Door behind them. "I have two more Doors in the Box. You can try them out and you'll understand."
"Door?" Tony Stark and Ethan exchanged glances. They really didn't understand what Doors had to do with avoiding floods.
The three of them hurriedly finished their Breakfast. Fang Bie led them to the Small River at the Foothill. He carried a Door in his hand and jumped into the Water without hesitation.
In the MC World, each Block is one meter in length, width, and height. A River that looks only five or six Blocks deep is actually five or six meters deep. If someone who couldn't swim was inside, drowning would be a matter of minutes.
However, whether it was Fang Bie or Tony Stark, both had swimming experience and were not afraid of dying before achieving their mission. Seeing that Fang Bie had already jumped down, the two looked at each other and followed him.
After all, Fang Bie was their Guide in this World. Neither of them wanted to stay in this one World forever; they still wanted to go back.
Moreover, Fang Bie was preparing for their escape from their original World, and an unrelated person was being so proactive. They couldn't slack off either.
It wasn't until the two of them jumped into the Water one after another with a splash and dived to the bottom that they understood where this young man had gotten his confidence from.
This was a River composed entirely of infinite Water. Theoretically, the Water source could never be cut off, nor could it be drunk dry by someone with a large Stomach.
But Fang Bie stood safely and soundly in the River Water. The surrounding Water flow seemed to encounter strange resistance and couldn't affect him at all.
Tony Stark was the first to reach his side, stepping into an air wall that seemed to be made of pure Air, one square meter in size and two meters tall.
Then Ethan followed. The three men were squeezed into a narrow Space of one square meter, and their eyes couldn't help but become awkward.
Fang Bie didn't show much emotion, as if he was deliberately suppressing his true feelings. He asked the two of them, "Do you think this Thing can protect you from the underwater survival crisis?"
He gently patted the Wooden Door beside him. Only then did the two of them notice that this air wall was actually formed by this simple Wooden Door.
"What a wonderful World! Doors can generate Air underwater. What's the principle?" Tony Stark's research enthusiasm surged again, but he was quickly stopped by the other two.
"Tony Stark, you can study it as much as you want when we get back. Right now, we need to think about how to get back!" Ethan quickly stopped him.
Fang Bie had no intention of stopping them from leaving. He had understood early on that as one of the most important parts of the Marvel Universe, Tony Stark's identity as Iron Man meant he couldn't stay in his World for long. He still needed to advance the Story of his own World.
However, Fang Bie was willing to provide them with enough help. He needed this help to establish a solid connection between them, so whether it was asking for help in the future or wanting to visit each other's Worlds, it should be easy.
His own World held huge Secrets. He believed the others would see it. And Fang Bie held almost the only Key to this World, so his importance was obvious.
After the two men put their heads together and discussed for a while, they slowly made up their minds and turned to him.
"We've decided, Fang Bie! We want to borrow something from you. If we escape, we'll give you ample reward. How about it?"
"Reward? I thought we were already Friends?" Fang Bie seemed slightly displeased.
"Hahaha!" Tony Stark laughed and patted his shoulder. "Precisely because we're Friends, I want to give you even more reward!"
