Chapter 17 - Chapter 17 Iron Vein?

Chapter 17 Iron Vein?

Fang Bie currently did not want to encounter those strange and bizarre monsters, so he did not look for a pitch-black Mine Pit nearby to excavate. Instead, he chose to reopen a Mine Tunnel in the deep Rock Layer Underground.

He still had quite a lot of Coal in his Backpack. If he made Torches and placed them at certain intervals, he could effectively ensure that no Monsters would be refreshed in the Mine Tunnel.

Fang Bie asked himself, if he encountered ordinary Monsters, whether it was Zombie Xiao Bai or Creepers, he could easily eliminate them. His thousands of hours of Game Time were not wasted for nothing. He was basically familiar with the combat methods against these Monsters.

It's not like they are Elite Monsters, Mutant Monsters, Null Monsters, or Titan Monsters. With a Sword in hand, I am invincible.

However, Tony and Ethan had never been exposed to such Monsters. They also had no Experience in dealing with these Monsters. Fang Bie could not guarantee that the two of them could retreat unscathed after encountering these Monsters, so he resorted to this inferior plan.

This is actually not bad. Having a fixed Mine Tunnel is always beneficial. Fang Bie also planned that if this Mine Tunnel were to grow and become larger in the future, he could put Ladders or even Rails in these Places, building it into a large Mine Pit that could allow for rapid passage up and down.

It's just that these Plans should all be things for a very, very long Time in the future. He does not have Time to carry out such Plans now, and can only think about them.

The most important thing is to help Tony and the two of them get out of their current predicament. Fang Bie also had his own little agenda. As long as these two people are out of trouble, he can be considered to have made a meritorious contribution from the very beginning. As long as he gets his name in Iron Man's mind, in this terrifying World of Marvel, he should be considered to have a Place.

"Fang? Is this the Iron Ore you mentioned?" Ethan's Sound awakened Fang Bie from his immersed thoughts, and also caused Tony, who was working hard to excavate those black Coal to turn his head.

Tony's face was now almost indistinguishable from Coal, like a big tabby cat, appearing somewhat comical in front of them.

"Tony, you should also take a look…" Fang Bie had just raised his head and was about to continue speaking when he was suddenly amused by this comical scene and couldn't help but grin.

"Ha! Tony, didn't I tell you to pay a little attention to the direction of the Coal splatter? How did you get your face covered in ash?" Fang Bie said, unable to help but chuckle.

"What?" Tony asked with some doubt, and then raised his hand to touch his face. Because the Torch had already been placed before, and the Torches in this Mine Tunnel had not yet been lit, he borrowed the light circle of the blue reactor on his chest to look at his hand.

That layer of black Coal ash reminded him that the Situation on his face was probably not optimistic.

"Um… it's nothing, a small matter, a small matter, just an accident." Even Tony, with his thick skin, couldn't help but blush slightly. However, in this Dark Mine Tunnel, coupled with his almost completely black face, it was not really visible, so he easily muddled through.

"Ha!" Fang Bie chuckled lightly and glossed over the matter. Tony himself had not said anything, so of course, he was even less likely to bring it up. Instead, he took out a Bucket of Water from his Backpack and brought it to the other party.

"Alright, wash your face, let's go see Ethan's Iron Vein over there." Fang Bie casually put the Iron Bucket on the ground and walked over there.

Tony hastily washed his face with the Water Bucket, looking at the still clear Water Surface, and couldn't help but sigh again at the wonder of the Water flow in this World, and hurriedly followed.

Not far from the two of them, Ethan was holding a Stone Pickaxe, looking at the pile of Stones in front of him that glowed with a rice-yellow crystalline Mineral luster, pondering whether or not to swing his Pickaxe.

"Well, if I'm not mistaken, this should be Iron!" Fang Bie saw the luster emanating from these Stones from afar and nodded in satisfaction.

"This is Iron?" Unlike Ethan, who had been standing here for a long Time observing proactively, Tony had dug a large pile of Coal and Stone, and he felt that he was about to lose his ability to distinguish colors. Finally, he saw a different kind of Stone, and of course, he had to appreciate it.

Fang Bie stood behind the two of them and introduced, "What we are seeing is the Iron Ore of this World. It exists in the Mineral Layer Underground, in huge quantities, and the scope is very wide, second only to Coal."

"It is the easiest to find in this World and also the most suitable Material to be used as general-purpose Armor and Tools. Through simple forging in a Furnace, a large number of Tools and Armor can be made, as well as some necessary Things in life. It is a Material that we need most now."

"Stop looking, dig!" Fang Bie said to the two of them and took the initiative to swing his Stone Pickaxe.

After all, the Speed of Stone Tools is much faster than Wooden Tools, not to mention that Iron Ore can only be mined with a Stone Pickaxe. If they were still using Wooden Pickaxes, apart from destroying the Mineral, they would not be able to get any Gain.

Seeing that Fang Bie had already started working quickly, Tony and Ethan did not stand idle either, following him to expand outwards to this piece of Stone on the left and right.

Fang Bie once again discovered a difference between this World and the original Game. In the original Game, no matter what kind of Mineral, they were very scattered and appeared in the entire Rock Layer Underground. Even Coal was at most only a dozen piles placed together.

However, the Coal he had previously excavated actually exceeded 30. He was already somewhat suspicious at the Time, but Time was tight, and he did not think too much about it.

But now it is different. Fang Bie himself has already mined more than 10 Iron Ores. Not only has this piece of Iron Ore not decreased as a result, but it has continued to extend deeper.

This also means that they did not just dig up a scattered piece of Mineral, but discovered a huge Mineral cluster!

"Iron Ore Vein?" Fang Bie said with some doubt, and his words also attracted the attention of the two people beside him.

"Fang? Are you saying that this is actually a Vein?" Tony was the first to react. The Pickaxe in his hand paused, but he continued to dig aside.

"Yes!" Fang Bie nodded, "This is something I don't usually understand. I didn't expect that Veins would naturally form here!"

"Then, is it a good thing or a bad thing for us?" Ethan's point of concern was a bit strange, but it was also closely related to them. He thought that Fang Bie had suddenly stopped because he had discovered something wrong.

"Of course, it's a good thing. If we dig up this entire Vein, we should be able to gather enough Armor for the three of us, and maybe even have some Things left over to make other Tools." Fang Bie finally dissipated the heaviness on his face and said with a smile.

"Tsk tsk!" Tony glanced at him, "I thought it was something serious, but you are telling me now that it's a good thing?"

Fang Bie looked at this man who had been getting along with him for a long Time and gradually regained his playboy appearance, but he did not feel disgusted.

"I just think it's a bit different, but I didn't tell you it was a bad thing!" He smiled, but the movements in his hands could not help but speed up a bit.
