"Put the Iron Ore into the Furnace, and you can forge an iron block. Don't look at me with that expression. I don't know what kind of Rule this is, so I can't explain it to you." Fang Bie spread his hands, explaining with a hint of helplessness to the two curious individuals beside him.
It was hard to fathom what was wrong with these two. Ever since they arrived in this World, even after understanding some basic Rules, they would constantly bombard him with questions of all sorts.
There were times when Fang Bie was so stumped by their questions that he didn't even know how to answer. He was just an ordinary Player, not some top-tier Game expert, let alone a top scientist. So, when faced with these questions, he could only shake his head helplessly.
He was now even more urgently hoping that their Plan would succeed. Once they returned to their World, these two should have things to do and wouldn't bother him anymore.
Fang Bie focused his gaze more intently on the three Furnaces beside him. Luck was on their side; within just three hours, they had already mined over 100 pieces of Iron Ore.
Fang Bie glanced specifically at the Mine they had previously excavated when he left. The Iron Ore Vein hadn't been depleted; instead, it continued to extend further inward, its length unknown.
This was good news for them. It meant they wouldn't be short of iron for a while. If these two's Plan went smoothly, they might leave tomorrow. If it was just Fang Bie alone, he should be able to last even longer.
He reached into the Furnace and took out an iron ingot. As expected, just like the Mutton, the iron ingot that looked like a small piece in the Game was actually half the length and width of his forearm.
No wonder nine iron ingots could be combined into a 1x1 iron block. If the iron ingots were only the size of an ordinary palm, that would be too exaggerated. Although the current size of the iron ingots was still quite exaggerated, it was within his acceptable range.
Meanwhile, Tony was already eagerly taking out several iron ingots from another Furnace and placing them on the Workbench. With Fang Bie's previous guidance, he successfully assembled a Helmet.
The more Fang Bie thought about it, the more he felt he was at a loss. Five iron ingots were needed to assemble a Helmet to wear on the head, yet nine iron ingots could assemble a cubic meter-sized iron block. Where did the rest of the iron go?
However, he laughed at himself as soon as he thought of this question. In this World of his, even Newton was probably buried in the Underground Abyss, so how could it simply adhere to the law of conservation of matter?
Did you see Einstein's coffin over there? "Boom!" Gone!
The three of them hastily ate a dinner, and each received a set of Armor. After putting them into their personal Item Inventory, they packed up the Things they would need for tomorrow and returned to their Beds, each with their own thoughts.
Tomorrow, they would truly face a battle of life and death. Although in their Plan, it might just be an act like a Game, no one knew if the Plan would produce any unexpected changes. Therefore, they needed to prepare for the worst!
Fang Bie personally placed those Things next to his Bedside Table. Tomorrow, they would go to another World. He didn't even know if his Backpack would still function normally, so he needed to make more preparations.
Tony and the other person seemed to have had a conversation and then went to Bed early as well, as they were about to face such a life-and-death situation tomorrow.
Although the two had lived in such a World for many days, the feeling of having their lives controlled by others was probably something neither of them wanted to experience again.
Fang Bie had advised them to stay in this World for a few more days and leave after they had the best set of Equipment. That way, if nothing else, their survival Ability would be greatly improved.
However, after Tony discovered the wondrous use of the Water here, he used his powerful eloquence and persuasiveness to convince Fang Bie. Even so, in reality, none of them had true confidence.
What they possessed was just a set of Armor with defensive capabilities roughly comparable to those in the Middle Ages, while their opponents were a direct line elite force capable of ambushing US Military combat troops.
They also possessed a large number of Stark Industries combat Weapons, which looked extremely terrifying. The two could only force themselves to hypnotize themselves, trying not to think about what would happen tomorrow, before finally falling into a deep sleep.
After the three of them fell asleep, the Stone Door outside the wall was still shimmering with a faint light. The transmission curtain on the Stone Door, which resembled a light screen, was actually still rotating at this time.
When Fang Bie first saw this Door, the light screen was just a layer of transparent film, but now some colorful hues had appeared.
Not only that, but some subtle Things were seeping out from behind the Door, quietly entering this World, as if slowly changing something in the World, in some places they hadn't yet touched.
And in the World behind the Door, a World that should have been completely paused in Time, a bald Mage slowly opened his eyes that should have been closed.
On her chest lay an Artifact that looked somewhat like an ancient Cage Lock. The Thing inside it emitted a dim and verdant light. She awoke in this Time that should have been paused, or rather, in Time that was nearly still due to the difference in the flow of Time.
"I sense the trajectory of Time. A World has connected to us… but I don't sense any evil or terrifying aura. It shouldn't be hell or a dark World…" She carefully discerned the Information transmitted through Time. The green light on her chest quietly dissipated, and her Time flow, which had been forcibly slowed down to be the same as the opposite World's, also calmed down.
"However, the correction of the Worlds will not allow such a pause to continue to exist. Time hasn't restarted flowing, which means the people from that World haven't truly stepped into this World yet. I Hope you don't harbor malice… otherwise…" She slowly closed her eyes. "Earth has buried countless demons and invaders. One more won't matter!"
Time once again tended towards stillness, but because of this Time fluctuation, whether it was in the distant Divine Realm, in some dim Cosmic Space, or on some garbage Planet where strange and eccentric beings were laughing maniacally, they all sensed this wave.
Of course, these Things would not affect the people in that Cave. At least among these guys called the Ten Commandments Gang, there wasn't an old man wearing ten Rings on his hands. Even the Food roasting on the Flame earlier hadn't turned into pot crust; it was still rolling and boiling on the Flame, edible.
And when a foot stepped out from the hidden Area behind the Cave, this World, which had been paused, was instantly connected, and the burning Flame slightly crackled in the ears of the three people!
