The world stopped when Zhar'Kan took his second step.
He wasn't an enemy anymore.
He was a verdict.
The sky, once blood red from the battle, turned black. Not from clouds—but from the sheer weight of his presence.
The air burned. The ground cracked from simply being near him.
Everyone felt it.
The Fall of the Generals
Pablo fought with everything he had against Tharok, the Void Lancer. His weapons were shattered. He fought now with salvaged spears torn from rubble.Tharok pierced him—twice. But in a final maneuver, Pablo let the General stab him…just to get close enough to decapitate him.
Both fell.
Only one stood again.Pablo was bleeding, trembling—but alive.
Romina had nearly locked Aelira in place. The creature bled from every pore, its blood freezing under her runes. But then… Aelira melted.
She became a pool of shrieking red liquid, and reformed her armor with screams. Her torso cracked open, revealing a core of pulsing flesh. She flowed forward, an ocean of living blades.
Romina had one final rune—a trap of frozen blood that turned the battlefield into a glacial prison.Aelira was sealed within.
Romina collapsed, but the monster…was gone.
Patricio was surrounded by darkness.Vexan had revealed his true form:a skeletal being with black wings carved in runes.
But the priest didn't retreat.
He recited an ancient chant—one no one had ever dared speak aloud. His words shattered the magic field, and his radiant cross of faith split Vexan in half, erasing the curses that bound him to the world.
Patricio dropped to his knees, exhausted—but his spirit stood tall.
The Captains faced the Heartbearer, now a hulking monstrosity with multiple arms and screaming mouths. They pressed him into a corner—then detonated the runes engraved into their own bodies.
The resulting explosion vaporized the creature's heart.
None of the captains survived.
They didn't need to.
They had won.
Diego vs. Zhar'Kan
And in the center of it all…Diego faced him.
With Excalibur in one hand, and shadows coiled around the other,he hurled himself at Zhar'Kan.
Each slash tore the air apart.Every spear of darkness thundered.
The ground shattered.Lesser monsters fled in terror.
And yet…
Zhar'Kan remained untouched.
He didn't dodge.He didn't defend.
He simply observed.
—You crafted impressive tools, boy —Zhar'Kan whispered—.But you are still... insufficient.
In an instant, he grabbed Diego by the neck and slammed him into the ground.
Excalibur flew from his hand. The shadows dispersed like smoke.
Diego spat blood.
He tried to rise—but the world tilted.
That's when Vega joined the fight.
She screamed a name lost to history, and her body lit with golden fire.
Four weapons materialized behind her:a divine spear, a flame whip, a warblade, and a storm bow.
War Goddess.
That was her class.Her awakening.
Her attacks were a dance of destruction—perfect, relentless, divine.
But they couldn't harm him.
Zhar'Kan caught her with one hand, shattered her arm,and flung her across the battlefield like a ragdoll.
One by one,the others returned to fight—only to fall.
Romina, Patricio, Pablo…beaten.
The field was littered with the fallen.
Only Diego stood.Shaking.Breathing hard.Bleeding from his forehead.Knees trembling.
Zhar'Kan approached.
—And thus dies your hope —he whispered, raising a hand.
And then…Diego remembered.
His mother's hugs.His father's words.His grandparents' smiles.His friends' loyalty.
And Matías.
His brother.
His reason.
His everything.
—No… —he whispered—Not yet…
The sky trembled.
His body glowed from within. The shadows returned—now fused with light.Excalibur flew back to his hand—wreathed in black flame and radiant blue fire.
His aura erupted.
A roar of power surged from him, forcing Zhar'Kan back for the first time.
Diego awakened.
Second Awakening.
The ground cracked beneath him.The air caught fire. His eyes burned with purpose.
—I'm not here to survive —he growled—I'm here to end this.
The final clash was a storm of divine chaos.
Impossible slashes.Blades that tore space.Zhar'Kan summoned black dimensions, distorted time, conjured twisted copies of Diego—
All shattered.
Each of Diego's strikesrewrote the rules of reality.
And then—
Excalibur pierced Zhar'Kan's chest, right through the pulsing rift in his body.
His frame burst into black light and smoke.
For the first time…
Zhar'Kan laughed.
—Wonderful…The conquest of this world…won't be so boring after all...
And with that—he vanished.
Diego fell to his knees.
Not from weakness.
But because… it was finally over.
The silence that followed—
was the loudest sound the world had ever heard.
