Chapter 46 - Chapter 46: When the Titans Awaken

The battlefield trembled.

Not from the strength of attacks. Not from the roar of the lesser creatures.

But from what was coming next.

The Dark Generals…began to change.

It wasn't sudden.It wasn't explosive.

It was… natural. As if they had finally stopped pretending.

Tharok, the Void Lancer

Pablo had wounded him.Several times. But the General's body simply rebuilt itself.

Then Tharok smiled.

And his form began to break.

The bones of his lance shattered and regrew from his arms, becoming extensions of his own flesh. His skin turned ash-gray, and floating spines erupted from his back—each one vibrating at a frequency that tore the air apart.

—You thought that was it? —his voice now echoed metallic and doubled.

Pablo spat blood and grinned.

—No. But I'm still going to break you.

Aelira, the Bleeding One

Romina had nearly sealed her movement. The creature bled from every pore—and the blood was freezing under her runes.

But then… Aelira melted.

Her body dissolved into a pool of red liquid, which reformed her armor with screams.

Her chest opened, revealing a pulsing core of living flesh. Her legs fused into one mass, and she flowed forward—a wave of liquid blades.

Romina took her first step back.

—That… wasn't in the plan.

Vexan, the Bound One

Patricio had broken seven curses.Seven seals.

But the eighth…was not a prison.

It was a lock.

The bandages exploded in a storm of shadows, and from the center emerged a skeletal being with black wings carved in runes.

Its jaw opened in impossible directions, and its laughter… had no end.

—Now I can speak —it whispered as it descended—.And your faith, old man…won't be enough.

The Heartbearer

The captains had forced him against a containment wall.

But the staff began to beat faster.

The heart at its tip cracked open—and a tentacle reached into the General's own chest.

The creature convulsed…and grew.

Its size tripled.Muscles twisted.Three screaming faces formed where one had been.

Now, with every step it took…

the ground unraveled.

And the captains, though bleeding and bruised, did not fall back.

—If we fall here…no one else will stop him.

At the center of it all—Zhar'Kan moved a single foot.

Just one.

But it was enough.

The earth cracked beneath him.The air howled. The sky itself… went dark for a heartbeat.

And Diego knew the time had come.

Vega turned to him.

—Ready?

Diego didn't answer.

He simply drew his sword.

And in that instant…

the world held its breath.
