Pathforge – The Guild of Lost Roads
Mistveil Haven was more than a town—it was alive.
Wooden bridges swayed between glowing treehouses. Spirit lights floated like stars. Creatures made of bark and fog moved alongside humans, elves, and beastkin. Every building hummed with enchantments, and strange whispers echoed beneath the wind.
Kael and Riven followed Elyra Whisperroot, the Pathforge Guildmaster, up a spiraling vine bridge into a great hollowed-out tree.
Inside was the Heartbranch Hall, the central hub of Pathforge.
Carved runes lined the walls. A massive map hung across the ceiling, with glowing points of light marking "Veiled Paths"—forgotten ruins, sealed vaults, places between worlds.
"Pathforge doesn't just hunt monsters," Elyra explained. "We walk between the known and the unknown. We chase echoes, uncover truth, and unlock powers hidden for ages."
"Some roads were lost for a reason. But we walk them anyway."

Exploring Mistveil Haven
Kael wandered through the market, where traders sold strange glowing herbs and bottled moonlight. A vendor tried to sell him a "laughing potion." He passed.
Riven found a treetop archery range with moving spirit targets. She nailed every one. A group of Mistveil hunters started clapping.
New Location Unlocked: Spirit Range
Bonus: +2% crit chance on archery abilities while in Veilgrove
They also found:
• Wanderer's Inn – a resting spot built in a giant mushroom dome (they rented a room for 100C)
• The Spirit Root Tavern – where tales are traded for drinks and quests
• Mira the Enchanter – a half-fox spellcrafter who can enchant gear with Veilgrove runes
Next Quest – Pathforge Tier 3 Initiation
Elyra brought them to a sealed door at the top of the guildhall. Carved with twisted runes, it pulsed with ancient energy.
"To walk our road," she said, "you must pass the Trial of Echoes."
