"Don't tell anyone else. This is only known to your family," Sylas instructed.
Jack and Leonora looked at each other. They knitted their brows and nodded, what Master Sylas said would be fully complied with by them. They would not betray the trust given by Sylas.
Master Sylas nodded. He didn't expect his student to throw the entire academy into chaos, Master Sylas could only smile proudly, it seemed that what he taught him had a full impact on the entire academy.
He activated his tracking ability, more complex and extensive than the academy elders. Because Sylas was familiar with Aiden's magic, he could feel what his magic was like.
Among the hundreds of people who could bring out their magic aura, only one of them showed a magic aura similar to Aiden's.
"Those academy elders... they really suck," said Master Sylas.
The old man turned his head back, looking at Jack and Leonora intently, "You'd better move out of Byrone soon, your affinity with Aiden will make your lives difficult."
"Lunor City is the best choice."
"Actually, someone from the Reinhard Noble Family came to us. They offered to stay in Miresburgh to avoid conflict," Jack replied.
"Reinhard?" asked Sylas.
"They offered that because Aiden had helped Helen qualify for the academy. They're trying to return the favor," Leonora explained.
"That's even better, besides Miresburgh is far from Byrone, there's a noble family that will protect you," said Sylas.
"Pack your bags. I want you to leave tonight. Don't delay!" insisted Master Sylas.
"And what about Aiden?" asked Jack, worried.
"I'll handle that," replied Master Sylas.
In the blink of an eye, a golden sparkle of light appeared and made Sylas' figure disappear completely as he quickly left the place.
Jack and Leonora sighed, they should immediately sell the house and go flee to Miresburgh as per Sylas' direction.
Master Sylas left in a flash of light from the house towards the mountain valley. There, he saw an unusual phenomenon that rarely happened, heavy snow falling on the valley.
He reached out his hand, taking in the snowflake. When he tried to burn it with the power of his light, it did not melt.
"My guess was right. This is not natural snow, but magic snow," Sylas replied.
"That Ice Dragon must have done it."
When the ice dragon was in this place, then it was certain that Aiden's whereabouts were really here. Sylas flew forward again following the magic direction of the aura emitted by Aiden.
He found Aiden hiding in a cave covered by trees, a clever hideout. When Sylas reached the front of the cave, he was immediately greeted by a gust of cold wind from inside the cave.
"Aurora! Is that you?" asked Sylas.
"How did you know my name?"
'What? Can she talk?' asked Sylas.
Sylas's last encounter with Aurora the ice dragon, the ice dragon could only roar loudly and speak nothing. Now, the situation had completely changed.
Aurora's figure stepped out, wearing a long ice-blue dress with white hair crowned with ice. Her skin was snow-white with cat-like pupils with a dark blue pupil background color.
Her posture was tall and slender, resembling a charming 18-year-old girl at a glance. Sylas was shocked again.
"Are you Aurora?" asked Sylas.
"You're Aiden's master. Your name is Sylas, right?" asked Aurora, confirming.
'It's terrible, his strength is almost equal to mine,' Sylas explained.
"That's right. I'm Master Sylas," Sylas explained.
After the two exchanged sharp glances with each other, Aurora finally opened the way to let Sylas in. Sylas stepped carefully into the cave.
There, he saw Aiden lying on a long rock in an unconscious state. Sylas was shocked, and he immediately stepped closer to Aiden.
"What happened?" he asked.
Aurora crossed her arms in front of her breast, staring at Aiden.
"He completed the two-magic synchronization using elemental magic energy at the top of Fire Fountain Hill," Aurora replied.
"Fire Fountain Hill? The top of the hill? Wait! That should have killed him, especially since his magic tier is still First Apprentice," Sylas explained.
"I don't know. But until now, he hasn't recovered his senses," Aurora said.
There were many strange things that happened to Aiden, two events that should have killed him but fate said otherwise. Aiden managed to live.
That made Master Sylas feel something special about Aiden. He became reluctant to release the young man to anyone.
'Is it possible he could be my successor?' Sylas asked.
'Put that aside for now.I'd rather focus on restoring his condition,' Sylas explained.
He turned his head back, looking at Aurora sternly, "I will focus on recovering his body. You're in charge of guarding this place."
"Alright. But don't you ever do anything bad to him, I can kill you quickly!" threatened Aurora, bringing up the ice magic in her hand accompanied by a strong ice magic aura.
"You just calm down. He's safe with me."
Aurora stopped her intimidation. She stepped out and focused on guarding the place. It was different with Sylas.
The old man saw through his eyes that Aiden's magic structure was messy and vulnerable. There was a possibility that the elemental energy of the hilltop magic was affecting his magic circuits.
Master Sylas pressed his magic pouch, bringing out the high-level magic recovery potion he had made.
The man helped Aiden drink the potion, slowly golden light appeared and shone on all parts of Aiden's body.
"I will begin to restore your condition, Aiden!" said Sylas.
He stretched both hands forward, bringing forth circular runes that emitted a stream of magic forward, resonating with the magic light on Aiden's body.
Through Sylas' magic eyes, Aiden's magic circuits slowly began to recover back to their original state. His magic energy could be channeled properly.
However, there was a surprise! The boom of the fire aura appeared and grew stronger, the boom suddenly attracted Aurora's attention.
The girl rushed in and pulled Sylas away from Aiden, then froze Sylas to the cave wall. Sylas was shocked and could do nothing.
"I haven't finished restoring his condition yet!" Sylas insisted.
"Shut up! I never trusted you, you filthy human!" snapped Aurora.
Now, Aurora began to calm the roar of the fire aura. However, it was in vain. The boom grew louder and sent Aiden's body flying through the air, Sylas and Aurora's attention focused on him.
"HYAAAAH!"
Aiden screamed loudly as he tried to absorb all the energy from the blast of fire aura. Sylas was silent, Aurora had stopped her recovery magic. They seemed to be letting Aiden finish everything.
[DING! Congratulations, you've leveled up]
[DING! Congratulations, you've gained Ascension Rank]
[Level: 2 -> 102]
[Rank: Peak Adept]

[You gain base points: 1020pts]
Aiden opened his eyes and saw a status panel appear, explaining that he had leveled up to level 102, equivalent to the Peak Adept mage rank.
Sylas couldn't see the status panel, but as an experienced master mage, he could distinguish the drastically changed aura of magic.
"He leveled up," Sylas explained.
In contrast to the astonished Sylas, Aurora showed a different attitude.
She smiled fondly, her eyes glistening with happiness to see Aiden recovering and growing stronger. She could also feel their connection magic getting stronger and more plentiful.
"He's already much stronger than before," Aurora said.
Sylas was silent, trying to pay attention to the momentum that was happening to Aiden's body. The momentum of the fire aura boom reminded Sylas of a certain mage stage.
"Is it possible that he's already at the Adept stage?!" gasped Sylas.
"So what?" asked Aurora.
"Being at the Adept mage stage indicates that his strength is equivalent to the academy's early elders. He's no longer a student, but an elder."
"Elder, huh? I don't think it's suitable for a young man like him," Aurora explained.
Sylas smiled with his body still trapped in the chunk of ice stuck to the wall, "I was right. He should be my successor."
