A few days later.
Aurora managed to recover her condition completely, her strength had returned to normal.
She no longer needed the beast dimension to live in, there was Aiden's soul consciousness that could be her home.
Even so, Aurora saw no signs that Aiden would awaken. She had gone down to the mountain a few times to fish, and she still sensed the low magic fluctuations that the low tier mages used for tracking.
Apparently, the Astralis Magical Academy was not taking this matter lightly.
They were going after Aiden because he was the only Silk-class student who had been able to stay on top of the Fire Fountain hill for so long.
According to Noran, if he could know the secret of Aiden's physical endurance, then the Silk students could enhance their abilities by using the energy of the hilltop, while the Iris students and the main students could maximize their potential further there.
Not only the elders of the mage discipline board, but also the students were so tasked.
The academy made hunting Aiden an S-class mission, in exchange for high-level EXP gems, which could raise the level many times over.
The academy allowed students to complete this mission in a variety of ways, be it tracking magic, asking people, or searching on their own. They were free to search alone or in groups.
Noran flew in the sky of the academy, seeing the light of a powerful fire aura from the hilltop.
In his time, even he could only last for a few minutes there, even with his status as the main student and a protection token.
But unlike Aiden, he did it alone without any help with his status as a low-ability student —a Silk student.
"What made him last so long at the top of the hill?" asked Noran, curious.
One of the elders came over to Noran. Saying that he had detained Aswald's family, Noran nodded.
Quickly, the two flew out of the academy and arrived at the Aswald family's residence on the hill. There, he saw Jack and Leonora being interrogated about the truth of Aiden's identity.
Noran and the elder arrived at the place. They stepped into the two-story house and met Jack and Leonora. They looked thin and tired, their faces resigned to what was happening.
"Please forgive us, Master. We really don't know what you mean," Leonora cried, tears in her eyes.
"Aiden is our son, he doesn't belong to any criminal group. He's a good boy, really!" explained Jack.
"Liars!" shouted a student, scolding them arrogantly.
"According to the city's criminal records, Aiden was involved in a case in the past. He came to the fog hill where his friend died," he explained, bringing up the old case again.
"Aiden is innocent, even the academy confirmed it themselves. He spoke the truth that it was Nathan who invited him and not Aiden who killed him," Leonora replied.
"How dare you deny what I say, you damn people?!" he snapped, wanting to punch Leonora's body.
In a flash of golden light, the figure of an old man with his magic wand came and held the mage student's hand.
The arrival of the old man was not even noticed by Noran the head of the Astralis Magical Academy.
"Oh my. You guys have a problem with Aiden but are trying to use his family to intimidate him," the old man replied.
Everyone looked shocked, his arrival had never been expected. Leonora and Jack rarely saw the man, but they could confirm that he was from the city library.
"Master Sylas?" greeted Noran, recognizing who he was.
"How do I call you? Head of the Academy or Great Elder Noran?" asked Sylas, smiling at the sight of Noran whom he had trained several times in the past.
"Both. I hold the title of head of the academy and Great Elder of the Kingdom of Arcanis," Noran replied.
"Very well, Great Elder Noran."
"Stay out of this case, Master Sylas. We want to settle things quickly," Noran replied.
"I don't think I can ignore this matter," Master Sylas replied, casually.
"What concern is it of yours to protect them? They are the academy's business, you don't need to interfere," Noran explained.
"Noran!" said Master Sylas.
The old man stomped his wand on the floor, bringing forth a vast magic domain with a large sun above his head.
Among the dozens of people in the house, only Noran was affected by the magic domain.
"Don't forbid me from doing something. Have you found your magic domain?" asked Master Sylas.
Noran gasped with a shocked face. Master Sylas was a man not to be underestimated, according to the legends told in the past.
In the past, one human kingdom had three magic masters. In the kingdom of Arcanis, there were three supreme masters, two of whom lived in the capital, while the whereabouts of the other was unknown.
Noran thought that Sylas was just an ordinary master who had been recognized by the kingdom.
However, after seeing him so easily bring forth the highest form of magic manifestation for a mage, Magic Domain, then Noran could confirm that Sylas was the third supreme master.
"Are you the third-highest master of Arcanis?" asked Noran, curious.
Master Sylas raised his hand and clenched it tightly. The sun's core exploded and sent millions of huge meteors towards Master Sylas and Noran. Even so, only Noran would be affected from the magic domain.
The meteors fell and hit Noran's body. An explosion occurred causing Noran to bounce several times. However, the magic domain does not attack the body, but the soul.
A damaged soul makes one lose the opportunity to practice magic. Noran was affected, but he was lucky not to be injured so badly as to lose the chance to practice magic.
Sylas smiled with a grin, stopped his magic domain and saw Noran immediately fall down.
When the domain happened, the time comparison was very far between the magic domain and the real world, like 1 minute in the magic domain was like 0.000001 seconds in the real world.
"Uhuk!"
Noran was seen vomiting blood from the impact of Sylas' magic domain. The elder beside him was shocked, immediately rushing to take Noran away.
The man also ordered all his students to leave Aswald's residence and not bother them anymore. They were ordered to focus on finding Aiden's whereabouts.
Seeing that the academy students had left made Jack and Leonora immediately thank Master Sylas.
"Thank you for your help. We don't know how to repay you," Jack said.
"I did this so that my disciple wouldn't get angry and upset. He must be very angry to see his family being bullied by the academy students," Master Sylas explained.
"Disciple?"
"That's right," Sylas said, looking back at Jack and Leonora, "Aiden Aswald, your son, is my direct student."
