"so what was it you needed to talk about" Arden said turning to Peggy in the Infirmary.
"it's about the two of you" Agent Carter said seriously
"well there's a bit of a dilemma, between the colonial and Doctor Erskine" Agent Carter said
"what dilemma?" Steve asked
" well this division is not just to train soldiers, it's to make super soldiers, and before we start with anything we need a... a test subject to go first." Agent Carter said
"super soldiers? and Dr Erskine is involved in this?" Steve asked.
"he is in charge of the project, the colonel was supposed to give him the best candidate for the serum but Erskine had other plans" Agent Carter said looking at Steve.
Arden looked to Steve cheerfully as he said" there shouldn't be any dilemma at all Steve should get the serum"
"well that's the thing Dr Erskine chose Steve to become the first Super Soldier colonel Phillips on the other hand."Agent Carter said the last sentence as she turned to Arden
"well I guess he picked me?" hard and asked
"Correct"
"but that's kind of stupid why don't they just pick one instead of letting the foot soldiers voice their opinions?" Arden asked distraught?
Peggy Shrugged at the question, Arden had the thought of taking it knew it was meant for Steve.
I didn't Steve argued back and forth about who would get the serum Arden supporting Steve and Steve supporting Arden eventually Steve folded and Steve was going for it.

the next day as Steve was commissioned to go to New York Arden secretly followed him although that was very hard considering Peggy Carter but he managed.
after stealing a pricey suit on the way security wasn't that good around here. not in the lab but the store he stole the suit from he quickly got into the lab with everybody else in the viewing chamber as he walked around and quickly Came Upon shining blue vial this must have been one of the extra ones that Ross had that he gave to Blonski.
Arden took all of the vials as he left without much hassle. the rest occurred just like the movie although Arden wasn't there to experience it. Steve was super and soon so would I.
I didn't had received his memories on his 16th birthday and it always seems strange to him that he was sent here by the king of the Chronobits like that's what they call themselves and yet he was completely ordinary and it was before any of the people he would like me to show their glory to had even been born yet besides Steve of course.
I didn't have little hope for the deluded super soldier serum without the vitarays so in anticipation he had said goodbye to Steve subtly of course but knowing Steve like he did he knew Steve on understood that he meant it a lot more than he thought he did. that night on the outskirts of Long Island New York Arden injected himself with all four vials. as immense pain spread throughout his body he felt like he was about to die and soon it looked like he was. his skin began to pale as it seemed to harden. soon it began to flake off beneath it a purple polygonal surface seemed spread about as his skin fell away he looked at his hands or purple Visage he was a Chronobits in his infancy.
he began panting but soon realized he had no breath because he had no lungs he was a being a solid Crystal he looked at his arms flailing them frantically as the realization struck him but as he looked away from his hands ever so slightly he could see his New York City in the background being built and insane speed like a montage slowly but surely the world was changing.

POV Howard Stark
It had been 20 years since Steve sacrificed himself. Nobody ever knew where Arden went after he gave up his spot for the super soldier serum, nobody ever saw him again. Sure, they were draft dodgers, but he was already recruited and had already gone to the camp. No matter who investigated, nobody ever seemed to find him.
it was 1963 there have been rumors of a purple ghost inhabiting somewhere here in Long Island New York I always was curious about ghosts so I soon went there and there was nothing for a good week or so but later I saw it. but it was less like a ghost and more like a blur.
it was trapped their Motionless or motion to full it could never seem to stand still. I need a camera to specifically capture this strange creature and that's when I realized it it wasn't a ghost was a being moving impossibly fast. a humanoid figure 6,1 in height crystalline in a recruits uniform from Lehigh except for the uniform looked pretty much brand new. on the name plate it read F o u s t.

it took a bit of money but eventually through the help of shield and even more money we were able to build a base around what people were calling the Violet flicker at least those in Shield were.
I studied what had happened to Foust for the next 10 years it was now 1973 and my son Tony was 3 years old I had brought him to the lab three times now and every time he looked at Foust with wonder.
the best way we had found to get him to slow down was to remove energy from him that was very hard to do in it of itself. you devised a device that would extract his power but it was very slow. so for the next 6 years we watched as it drew power from this ruined man and on the 11th year of Tony's life 2 months later Foust finally come back to his human self or so I believed.

they finally fucking did it. for 3 weeks now I've been trying to get a hold of my new Chronobits physiology I guess as the world around me shifted and I was now in what appeared to be a lab. doctors move around me in blurs checking on my vitals or lack thereof but occasionally I saw what appear to be Howard Stark and a kid they only ever showed up for less than a second but I saw glimpses of them. and those glimpses gave me hope.
not even a week later after that visit I had finally gone back to living in the present and I looked human now just comes one problem how do I explain what happened.

third person POV Arden Foust
Arden laid on a medical bed smiling cheerfully soon and came Howard Stark he looked older than last I saw on the newspaper before I went off to training camp. but he still looks hopeful in his eyes in fact he looked happier.
"welcome back mister Foust care to tell me what exactly happened to you" Howard said intrigued.
Arden scrambled trying to figure out what he could say he wasn't going to tell him that this was caused by a reaction to the super soldier serum that he stole I'm sure that they knew that some of it had gone missing the night of Dr erskine's Death. they may even say I colluded with Hydro if that's my story.
you know what aliens exist anyway why don't I just pull that one.
"I'm not human, it may come to a surprise to you but I am a higher dimensional being known as a Chronobit, my race holds power over time and I thought when I fell to this third dimensional plane you guys call Earth that I had lost all my abilities but it seems I regain them but they were out of control can you tell me what year it is"
this was my way of accepting the fact that I was most likely no longer human and it was probably the only way I wasn't going to be killed off as some hydra spy but now that I think about it didn't they kind of hate aliens too besides Captain Marvel but she's not even an alien.
"did you get all that my friends we got our dimensional life form he actually exists let's go"
to Arden's surprise and astonishment instead of fear or scorn Howard seem genuinely happy to have heard my tall tale.
