CHAPTER 1
Ryu Seo-yi a young teenage boy sitting outside the house on the grass gazing at the night sky, was lost in thoughts *can I be a hero he wondered.* He wanted to be a hero like most people do but, everything has a challenge for him it was strength he didn't have enough strength compared to the other teens who also wanted to be heroes.
His white average hair was shining in the night sky when he saw a dash pass him by in the starry moonlight " what is that?" It was too late for him to go out so Ryu didn't even bother going out to check. 5 minutes before he's bedtime he came up with the idea that he'd be like the heroes who barely put in the hard work. Baek Hyun Woo is a famous hero who saves people by using money as his power. Baek Hyun Woo would buy extremely expensive gadgets which allows him to save people with relative ease. This is what Ryu seo-yi planned to do, obviously the problem is money
Ryu seo-yi was already 18 years old and his final grade of high school,so he can apply for the hero exam without worrying about age or school work. The day finally came when he had to take the hero exams. The air was thick and heavy upon entering the tall glass building " what's going on today?" It was pretty obvious that something was going on but he didn't know what " maybe I should return" Ryu muttered to himself. The building looked vacant right up until Ryu locked eyes with a tall,thin,pale woman waiting for him at some kind of reception "Greetings your exam is on you far left" the woman said, with a soft robotic voice.
"What if I wasn't here for the exam what would have you said?" These were all Ryu's thoughts about the woman.
Ryu seo-yi opened the squeaky door when he was met with a hurling fist, which knocked him off his feet "so it has begun" Ryu knew that this was part of the exam.
He sprinted foward trying to throw in some blows but the problem is that the enemy had already disappeared. " where are you?" Closed his eyes and started shifting focus to his ears. Every sound was enhanced and he heard a bunch of screams coming from the right " help! help! help!!!!." Ryu smirked and started remembering all the things that had happened before the exam day.
Flashback
The night he was lost in thoughts his mom called him to sleep which he did, he dreamt of a certain day were he was a hero to all after that he woke up and it was morning."yeah time for some preparations" he was full of motivation from just one single dream. He went to school were his friends laughed at his dream of becoming a wealth hero even though he doesn't have that much money, this dream seemed impossible to the other kids but not to Ryu seo-yi, for he knows how to make it a reality with the money he has. "Finally am home. Now time for some studying " not school things obviously. The day passed with him studying all the bad things that are considered evil.
The next day at school the other kids asked him a lot of questions about being a hero. Ryu would remember all the things considered as evil and he would inverse them, this led to him getting some of the questions correct. The other kids were impressed by how much he knows but still that doesn't mean he can be the hero he wants so they thought. After school he went for some speed training. Jumping and leaping everywhere in his backyard he saw a woman about to get mugged. He's eyes were peeping through the whole in the fence which he made in order to spy on people in his lovely childhood. The mugger was now on the run that's when a hero called Drift appeared and chased the mugger. In no less than 10 seconds, he fought the mugger and returned the stolen goods to the young woman. Ryu seo-yi was inspired by this hero,so kept on training his speed.
Back to the present
Ryu Seo-yi rushed foward in the direction of the screams for help. Another fist but this one missed as he kept on moving foward. The ground started to quake.
"Oh no I'm going to fall, wait.. is that a tim...?"
He fell to the ground but immediately stood back up sprinting to the screams. A huge gust of air blew him to the wall and a huge,bulky,red haired male emerged from the dust created by the wind. "I don't think you'll pass young boy" He shook the while ground floor with only one step, the rubble flew up in the air which gave Ryu seo-yi a great idea. "It's time for some magic" He dashed around very fast using the rubble as stepping pads, he lunged towards the bulky build male straight on. The bulky man tried grabbing him with his arms. Ryu instead of getting caught he moved right under the man passing him right by. " what the?" The man always so shocked.
" Magic is fun, right?"
Ryu seo-yi dashed to the other room. Upon opening the door he saw a bunch of people playing poker while screaming for help as in they were in real danger,above them was a huge board with the writing saying HOSTAGES. " Wow, how entertaining, live this." Ryu said. Ryu decided to take them all out which they politely did "let's see if it stopped"
While Ryu was falling to the ground after the ground quakes, he saw a timer which indicated that if he doesn't save the hostages he'll fail the test. Clearly the man was a renowned hero acting as the exam taker no wonder why the place looked vacant.
