Chapter 5
A month had passed since the fight meaning that only 9 months were left before Rozaru returned. Only one person knew this info since the deal was made directly between the both of them. Ryu Seo-yi woke up after sleeping for consecutive days without waking up, one could say he was in a temporary coma.
Before He woke up.
Right after the deal Ryu lost consciousness and the heroes who came in running took him to the nearest hospital we he was treated. In this world healing shattered bones is easy as sewing up your torn clothes, so he healed very fast but, that doesn't mean the mental trauma he gained was also healed. Ryu woke up the next looking all tired with heavy dark purple eye bags, no smile.
The days were pretty boring since he wasn't allowed to go outside or watch tv like the other patients, day in day out he would go to the other room for some tests to see if he endured any side effects of being so close to the demon. The other heroes were still fighting the other demonic creatures on the battlefield, since managed to clear their assigned areas meaning they had time to return home. There was a slight problem though looks like everyone who fought or came in close contact with the demons incurred some tiny side effects, some effects include having blue blood, sharp teeth and blue eyes. These were all temporary but the weird thing is that Ryu fought a demon for a long time ; 2 hours and 30 minutes to be exact yet he didn't incur a y side effects, that's one of the reasons why they conducted tests on him.
The other thing that bored him, would be that the food was blend and super soggy and he was forced to eat his fill. This kept happening day after day until one day a huge group of reporters came near the hospital for some questioning. The reporters were unstoppable they all went to court just to get permits to enter the hospital grounds.
By the way 1 permit cost 5 000 dees and only lasted for 24 hours.
This was pretty entertaining for Ryu and he would wake up early just to see the drama through his room window. One morning Ryu heard the reporters yell and shout this was his tim e to wake up but something was odd.
"Wake up, wake up, wake uuuuuuup!" Ryu was now in a coma yet he didn't lose his consciousness so he he was paralyzed.this continued and he was now at peace with it the only problem would be if the doctors decided to do some operations on his body. This worried him alot since he could still feel the pain.
Days passed and Ryu was now able to roam around the hospital like a lost soul in search of it's body. This was a new experience for him and he enjoyed it very much, till one day his spirit was pulled backwards by a mysterious chain this pulled him back to his body and was now unable to leave his body.
"If you leave this body you might not return, take this as a warning. " said a mysterious voice which Ryu recognized but couldn't tell whose voice it was.
This was the last thing he heard before losing total consciousness. 3 weeks later he woke up
Present day (moment).
" So I'm finally awake, how entertaining it was to be a soul without a bod."
Ryu felt way off after waking up, the building felt moist even though the sun was shining bright and there was no water in sight and pretty much obvious that the rai didn't pour for the previous 3 days, it felt gloomy and very quiet. Ryu went outside to have a look and to his surprise, there was nothing insight even the walls outside his room. His room looke6like it was floating inside the building.
Ryu's room was right to the window meaning it was attached to the exterior wall, when he walked outside his room he noticed that nothing was there like it vanished into thin air. The building looked very fine from the outside since it was still intact.
This was very strange" what the hell happened here?"
Distant voice which Ryu can't tell whose it is"see I told you to return to your body, now look what happened. If it wasn't for me you'd be dead by now. Be grateful prince.."
"Prince...?so I'm a prince..wow! How interesting... I might be getting close to discovering my identity. "
Someone entered the hospital building while Ryu was high in the air talking to himself. "Young boy up there, what happened here?"
This person was smiling like nothing weird is happening.
"Uhhh..to be honest sir...am not sure"
This person who entered looked to be a doctor he was wearing a white doctor's coat which nearly covered his entire lower part, an awfully looking red coloured headband with what looked like a blue design underneath. Thus doctor had low hair (above average, not long like our boy Ryu) his hair didn't suit the lifestyle of a doctor a d finally he had an innocent face and a weird doctor's disk on his headband on the left side accompanied with a very friendly smile.
The doctor didn't know what to do that's when Ryu used his spider threads to lower himself. The doctor suggested they move outside the building. They were now outside and with a single blink from the both of them the building, came crumbling down just like that.
"How strange." The both of them said.
The doctor led the way with a wide smile "welcome, to my peaceful abode."
Ryu was now in side the doctor's house which looked larger than the outside. The doctor offered Ryu residence in return he would help to solve this weird mystery.
How goes life? This would be the question that started it all.
