"Have I ever told you how tracking actually feels for me?" Thorn asked as they walked through someone's living room.
"Yes, you have." Ren said flatly. "Counting just today alone, too many for me to find an actual fuck to give."
"At this point, I don't know whether to feel honored or flattered." Thorn grinned as they got to the bedroom. "I'm being used as a hunting dog."
"On one hand, it means I'm the only one skilled enough for this." He threw open the window. "On the other hand, I'm just a hunting dog."
He stepped onto the window sill, taking a leap and landing on the window of the other house, slipping inside. This was one of the benefits of Elnorian cities being so crowded. The houses are just too close to each other.
Ren jumped to the next building after Thorn, taking a moment to glance down at the city streets below them.
The zombies swarmed the streets below, some of them chasing after the still uninfected humans and others just shambling through.
