"Are you alright?" Elias asked, staring at Lilith in concern. "You seem to be doing… well."
"Yeah." Lilith nodded, her voice low. "My emotions are back. The church unintentionally fixed it."
"Is it permanent?" Hope bloomed in Elias' eyes as he stared at Lilith.
"Unfortunately, no." She answered. "That's why I need to be careful. I mustn't use too much power. So, the both of you will be at the forefront. Can you handle it?"
Elias glanced at Valen, who was standing to the side, arms crossed, a neutral expression on his face. "We can." He nodded. "With Valen as our vanguard, this should end exactly the way we want it to."
"Good." Lilith nodded, glancing at Valen. "Anything else to take care of before we begin?"
"Just one." Elias answered with a smile. "It's good to have you back, Lilith."
They shared a smile and the moment was over.
"Valen?" Lilith nodded at the man. "After you."
