Chapter 3 - "003: The World of Ultraman Tiga"

"A hundred years from now, it will be a family recipe passed down for generations!"

The Su Mo from the DanMachi world spoke with righteous conviction.

"I'm telling you, this fried rice of mine was a huge hit when I opened shop in the busiest part of Orario. With this skill in your arsenal, you guys can enjoy gourmet-level meals anytime you cook!"

"Gotta admit, that doesn't sound too bad."

The Su Mo in the red-and-white uniform nodded in agreement after recalling the frying technique he had just inherited.

"I used to rely on cafeteria food or takeout. With this kind of skill? Stir-fried rice at home might actually become a daily treat."

The modern-dressed Su Mo, however, caught on to something else entirely.

"Wait a minute… did you just say—Orario?"

His eyes lit up in realization.

"Don't tell me… you got isekai'd into that Orario? The one from DanMachi?"

The Su Mo from the dungeon world gave a calm nod.

"Exactly. And if nothing went wrong with the synchronization just now, you two should also have received Falna—the blessing of the gods."

Compared to something like upgraded fried rice skills, the Falna was a truly game-changing power in the DanMachi world.

Of course, since dungeon-world Su Mo hadn't actually been out fighting monsters himself, his physical stats hadn't improved at all. That's likely why the other two hadn't noticed it earlier.

"The Falna, if I remember correctly," the uniformed Su Mo began to analyze, stroking his chin thoughtfully, "is a divine system created by the gods that draws out a person's hidden potential."

"It doesn't grant power directly, but allows you to level up through real-world combat, turning experience into growth. It's an extremely useful system."

"But it has one flaw," he added, "The status has to be updated by a god. Without their input, no matter how many enemies you defeat or how much experience you gain, it won't convert into actual strength."

"That is a bit of a bottleneck," said the modern-dressed Su Mo with a nod. "But… I'm not sure it's necessarily a bad thing."

He continued, his eyes gleaming with an idea.

"Since we're able to share power through this space, maybe the stored experiencepoints can also be shared."

"If that's the case, we just need to regroup every now and then, funnel all our experience into the Su Mo from the DanMachi world, let him get his status updated—and then he can send all the upgraded power right back to us."

"It's a little roundabout, sure—but if it works, not a single point of experience would go to waste. Every battle, every fight from each world can contribute to our collective growth."

His logic was simple, but brilliant.

Each Su Mo was living an entirely different life in an entirely different world. Their paths, enemies, and training regimens were all unique. If the fog-space allowed not just powers, but accumulatedexperience to be shared...

Then all their lives would stack into one vast pool of strength.

Hearing this, dungeon-world Su Mo's eyes sparkled.

"Brilliant! It's basically a cheat code—like having an army of shadow clones grinding levels for you!"

"If I have the combined experience of three people, then even if I do nothing, I should be able to hit Level 2 in no time!"

The Su Mo from the DanMachi world couldn't hide his excitement. After all, with more versions of himself showing up in this fog-space over time, the accumulation of experience would only grow faster and faster.

At that rate, wouldn't he be able to level up just by sitting back and relaxing?

Hearing his bold idea, the other two Su Mo looked at each other—and couldn't help but chuckle.

"You're thinking too small," said the modern-dressed Su Mo, shaking his index finger in mock disappointment. He wore a mysterious smile.

"Level 2? That's nothing. If our plan works, even reaching Level 9 or Level 10 won't be out of the question."

The Su Mo in the red-and-white uniform nodded solemnly in agreement.

"Level... 10?" The dungeon-world Su Mo's eyes widened in disbelief.

He knew very well—Orario's strongest adventurer was only Level 7, and even that was a one-in-a-million outlier.

Level 9 and 10? No one had ever reached those heights.

According to what the gods speculated, a Level 9 adventurer might already possess power on par with the divine. That level of strength was nothing short of mythical.

And yet here his alternate selves were, casually tossing around the idea like it was nothing.

But surprisingly, Su Mo didn't doubt them.

After all, these were versions of himself from countless different worlds. What might seem like divine power in Orario could very well be mundane elsewhere. In a multiverse spanning infinite dimensions, if you didn't have power that could affect universes or realities, how could you even make a name for yourself?

And so, Su Mo couldn't help but grow curious.

"All right, you've got me interested. What's this plan you're talking about? Teach this newbie the ropes!"

"Ahem," the red-and-white Su Mo cleared his throat and adjusted his tone to something more serious.

"Before we get into the plan, how about we each introduce ourselves properly? That'll make everything clearer."

"Fair enough," the dungeon-world Su Mo nodded. Only now did he realize he had no idea what worlds the other two had been isekai'd into.

"I've already introduced myself—I'm the one who ended up in Orario. What about you guys?"

"I'll go first," said the red-and-white Su Mo as he put on a helmet and struck a pose.

"Chief Tactical Officer of the VictoryTeam, Su Mo—reporting for duty!"

"Victory Team?" the dungeon-world Su Mo repeated blankly. Then his eyes widened in shock.

"You mean that VictoryTeam? From UltramanTiga? You ended up in the Ultraman universe?!"

No wonder he found the uniform so familiar.

"Yup," the Su Mo from the Tiga world nodded calmly.

"Once I realized I was in the Ultraman Tiga universe, I knew being an ordinary civilian was a death sentence. So, I threw myself into researching ancient civilizations and graduated early as a specialist. Eventually, I was scouted into the Victory Team."

"In fact, I'm one of the original founding members. Technically speaking, I'm a senior now."

At this, the modern Su Mo couldn't help but throw in a jab.

"Still just a regular guy though."

The Tiga-world Su Mo shrugged helplessly at the remark.

"I mean, it's not like I have the genes of some ancient warrior or anything. I can't turn into light or become Ultraman. What else am I supposed to do?"

"What, you want me to turn into a Kaiju instead?"

"Besides," he added, turning toward the modern-dressed version with a pointed look, "you've got no room to talk about being 'just a regular guy' either."
