With his bamboo basket on his back, Xi Chen pass the town guards successfully. The guards did not suspect anything when he passed by them.
When he reached his house, the sky was already darkening.
Xi Chen open the door that leads inside his house and enters it.
Two little boys came running out of house when the sound of the door opening echoes the yard.
Both of them stops in front of Xi Chen. One of them look curiously at the bamboo basket and the other looks at Xi Chen and says "Big Brother, we have been starving for a long time. And you did not return like usual so we were worried something might have happened to you" with a teary look on his face.
"How can something happened to me? Your big brother is very strong" Xi Chen with confident and assuring tone. Then he places his both hands on the top each head of the two little siblings with a smile and continues in an apologetic tone "Do not worry big brother will come on time from now on. And I am not at home on time, you two should knows that I might be delayed because I need to some other things. Ok? And I promise that I will always try to come home on time".
Both the little guys ask with a adorable questioning look "Really? You promise?".
Xi Chen give them reassuring node and let them to the small kitchen room. "I will let you guys eat until you can not anymore today" he said on the way.
He cooks the rabbit for the little guys and the half-step Qi Beast meat for him. He can not let the two boys eat the wolf meat because they are two weak and too young to digest the meat. Giving them the meat will be like asking a man toy hammer to destroy a big ass rock.
When he has done cooking, the three siblings eat together on the ground since they have no dining table except for the stone table outside at the yard.
"Brother this so good" one the little one says with greese all over his lips and chin.
"We will be eating this kinds tasty foods from now on" replied Xi Chen with a faint smile. Then he heard him continued " But why have not you fix the roof yet". This makes Xi Chen twist his eyes.
When he tries to scold the kid, he notices a thicker energy starts emitting from the stomach region. He hastily finished the meat. Then after telling the kids to wash dishes and go to bed themself. He went towards his shop.
After reaching inside the shop, he hurriedly starts furnace fire. He started fanning the flame to make the heat go up. After the furnace reaches its limit, he seated in a lotus position in front of furnace. The emitted heat from the furnace hits him. When the heat hits him, Xi Chen started channeling the cultivation technique to absorb the energy.
His body starts glowing red all over as he starts tempering his body.
Since the heat from the furnace is not enough, the process is a bit slow.
Time went on without him knowing, its already midnight by the time he finished tempering his body.
'I did not expect to breakthrough both in skill and cultivation today. What a great day is today' Xi Chen as looks at himself.

At this time, Xi Chen hears something heavy hitting the ground. It sounds like person jumping down to the ground from the high wall. Even though the sound was a little too low, Xi Chen still heard it. His senses has been heighten ever since he became a Martial artist.
'Is it a thief' Xi Chen's first thought was that a thief entered his house. But when he looks through a small opening from the shop, there was a man with a ghost face mask standing in his yard ,with moonlight falling on his front body,looking around cautiously. Then the walks towards the shop where Xi Chen is currently staying.
Seeing this Xi Chen tense up a little bit.' This man is a martial artist for sure' Xi Chen knows this because the man is currently walking towards the door with a bloody sword in his hand.
'Maybe my secrets of being a Martial artist got out and he is here to takes my cultivation technique' Xi Chen ready himself behind the door to strike, through the door ,the moment the man and himself is only a door apart.
The man without thinking anything stops in front of the door and reach out his hand to open ghe door. But before he could open the door something broke the door and hit his body in 10 different part.

The man stood still with a puzzled and a disbelief look on his face, looking at Xi Chen who suddenly broke the door and hit him. His started bleeding from his mouth and nose. Then he fell straight on the ground with his back. Before he fall he force out a few words through his teeth "What the hell".
The man lies on the ground flat with any signs of being dead,except for the blood on his nose and lips. But Xi Chen knows that man's whole inside is already crushed.
Xi Chen walks up to the man and search throughout his whole body for anything valuable. The site of a dead man laying in front of him did not bothers him since he is used to many bloody scenes and he has personally killed many people in his past life. Life of a gang is not easy as many people believes.
As he search the man, he finds a wooden tablet. On it he reads 'Unknown man's trade market with a symbol on the front and at the back is the location of the place.
'Is it a black market' he thought about those black market from the past.
