Three months have already went by. During this time, some major things happened in the town.
Li Chengyi, the genius of the Li family, had already proposed to Lin Qing(the genius of the Lin family).But the twist of the story is that Lin Qing rejected the proposal, saying she already has someone in her heart. Out of frustration or anger, Li Chengyi demands that Lin Qing to tell the person's name. To his surprise, she pointed at the boy besides her. The boy is about 16 or 17 of age, with a handsome appearance and a height of 1.9 meters.
Li Chengyi did not make a scene out anger or anything.He just left the plaza.
But a shocking news came the next day that the boy which was with Lin Qing went missing. Some people speculate that maybe Li Chengyi had kill him because of embarrassment. Even though it was Lin Qing who rejected him. But nonetheless, nobody knows the real reason behind it.
And the another shocking news is that the government announced a rule that people without any license can not operate their business in the town anymore. The rule is applied to all the people in Red Bull Kingdom.
Xi Chen also went to get his blacksmithing license from the town government office. But since he have no connections, he could not get his license. Even though he tried many ways including bribing, it did not work out at all. Even the bun shop of Aunt Li get licensed because she once fed a starving official who work at the government office. What a luck.
This rule is just an excuse for the riches and nobles of the kingdom to monopolies their businesses.
People who have skills can use them for themselves. They only need licenses for business.
Since then, Xi Chen have been going to the outskirts of the near Giant Forest to hunt some foods to support his little family. Because the nobles do not care about hunting so nobody need to get licensed to sold their prey, except for some big hunters and Qi Beast hunters. Every now and then he get some wild games but most of them is just some unlucky rabbits.
Xi Chen does not know any skills of hunting or any bow techniques to shoot at the animals. But he does know how to crafts hunting traps. So he has been using those traps to get some games for the past three months. Since its the end of spring and start of summer, though summer season has not arrived yet, many animals are active. So hunting is kind of easy and many people are doing that. Some hunters with license get riches during this time.
Like usual, Xi Chen get ready to head to the forest after his morning routine. He grabbed a knife and put in a knife cover. Then hangs it on the side of his waist. He then grabs a bamboo basket and lifts it on his back.
He get out of his house and start heading towards the outskirts of the forest where he sets up his traps. He also brought a newly made trap incase he needs to replace some old traps.
As he gets near the traps, he gets his guard up and slow and silently approaches the traps. Disappointing for him, the first 3 traps did not catch any prey. But the 4th one did catch a young deer, so he released it back to the wild. Luckily for the deer, it caught on to rope trap otherwise it will cuts and bleeds which will make it easy for predators to track its way.
When Xi Chen approaches near the 5th trap he sees a bleeding rabbit caught on to the metal trap. But as soon as he gets near the trap, he feels like something is watching him. So he looks the surrounding area. Then he spotted an odd bush. He squinted his eyes and looks at it deeply.
Suddenly, a giant wolf of nearly 2.5 meters tall, jumps out the bush and charges down at Xi Chen like a predator trying to caught a smaller prey.
Xi Chen rolls to the side and gets out of the way. After that, he stood up quickly and posed a fighting stand with his fist up.
When he first saw the wolf charging at him, he did not feels any threat from it. So instead of running, he chose to face and fight it and try to even kills it.
Seeing that he could not catch his prey on the first try, the wolf charges at Xi Chen again. But this time it did not jumps at him instead it just charges at him and tries to bite him.
Xi Chen quickly dodged it and punch at its side head using Wind Whisper Fist.
Whooooosssss.....boom..
The fist hits the wolf so hard sending it flying few meters away from Xi Chen.
After hitting the ground, it quickly got up and glares at Xi Chen like saying 'How dare a prey fight back'. It did not even think of the flying part. It shook its head and charges again back at Xi Chen.
Seeing that it did not do much damage, Xi Chen decides to use the final form of the Ten Fist Arts the Ten Shadow Fist.
He also charges at the wolf, the same time the wolf charges at him. The man and the wolf charges at each other simultaneously.
But Xi Chen brakes his foot to stop a meter away from wolf. Then he focus all his force at his right hand and uses the final form the Ten Shadow Fist. He then punches at the charging wolf, making his fist appears simultaneously ten fist charging at the wolf oncoming head.
The wolf seeing this tries to stop and jumps out of the way with a frantic expression. But it was too late.
'Boom' ×10
10 simultaneous sound was heard in the surrounding area.
This time the wolf was sent flying until it hits a thick tree.
Bam..
It is still not dead. It tries to stand up wobbly with a whimpering sound. Then it collapse.
Xi Chen approaches near it. And seeing that it just fainted not yet dead, he uses one more powerful punch to make sure it is dead.
'I thought why only one wolf appeared. Turns out it had already on its way to Qi Beast. If it had already been a Qi Beast I would be the one laying on the ground' Xi Chen analysed the situation.
The he opens the panel because he felt something different when using his skills to fight the wolf.

Then he took out his knife and starts to dismembered the wolf body. He can not just take the body to the town since its a half-step Qi Beast or else he would exposed his secret of being a Martial artist. Then he would quickly be killed or crippled by those unruly gangs to get his cultivation technique.
After getting the meat and some valuable part of the body including the wolf fur. Then he puts the fur at the bottom of the bamboo basket then stuffed some wild vegetables to hide the fur. On the top of it,he put the meat and the dead rabbit.
Lifting the basket on this back, Xi Chen quickly make his way towards the town.
