Chapter 2 - C-211 “Creature” discovered by director "alpha" and by director "omega"

Anomaly Dossier: C-211 "Creature"

Classification: C – Transient Hostile-Neutral

Threat Level: Amber

Clearance Required: Level 4 – Warden Access

---

General Description:

C-211, designated "Creature," is a humanoid lupine anomaly encountered primarily in mountainous or elevated terrain. It features a prominent, protruding spine, semi-organic protective plating, and glowing Norse runes carved directly into its flesh. Despite its carnivorous nature, C-211 is not inherently hostile toward humans and often demonstrates passive or even protective behaviors. However, this anomaly preys on other anomalies, most notably C-108 ("Itsy Bitsy").

---

Key Characteristics:

Size/Form: 3–4 meters tall, bipedal, wolf-like build with natural armor plating.

Runes: Norse symbols carved into its skin glow dark red, increasing in intensity during combat or ritual duels.

Behavior: Neutral; becomes aggressive only when summoned via specific ritual tools or when engaged by a marked anomaly.

Diet: Carnivorous, but exclusively hunts C-108 ("Itsy Bitsy") and similar anomalies.

Summoning Tools:

Red Sword: Summons C-211 as a dueling partner. If the wielder wins, they vanish, leaving behind a human corpse (believed to be the former Creature).

Blue Sword: Marks the wielder as prey. After use, the wielder becomes a target of C-211. The sword also grants the ability to slay any entity but kills the user exactly one hour after activation.

---

Observed Anomaly Interaction:

Predator-Prey Link: C-211 actively hunts and engages C-108 ("Itsy Bitsy"), suggesting a predatory hierarchy within the anomaly ecosystem. Encounters between these two anomalies are rare but often result in significant environmental damage.

Tactical Implication: Due to the predatory nature of C-211, it may be used strategically to control C-108 or other similar anomalies. This interaction requires extreme caution and precise management to avoid collateral damage.

---

Behavioral Notes:

C-211 does not exhibit territoriality or aggression toward humans unless provoked.

It has demonstrated protective behaviors, guiding lost hikers away from dangerous areas near C-108.

200 confirmed sightings of C-211 have been recorded worldwide, with all instances appearing similar in form but not identical. This suggests the presence of multiple, distinct manifestations of the Creature, each capable of independent actions.

---

Containment Notes:

Status: Uncontained.

Current Strategy: Free roaming allowed, with monitoring of sword-related events. Upon detection of C-108 activity, C-211's emergence may be authorized under Protocol Ash-Fang.

Interaction Protocol: Authorized personnel may interact with C-211 in situations where it is necessary to control C-108. Use extreme caution as marked individuals become prey to C-211.

End Quote:

"We thought the sword was just a weapon. We didn't realize it was a death sentence."
