Chapter 15 - Chapter 15 – Baptism of the Arena

The moment Raka and Iqiww crossed the shattered bridge into the heart of Genesis Arena, the atmosphere shifted.

The world was alive.

Islands floated in impossible orbits overhead, tethered by chains of light. Massive statues — warriors frozen mid-battle — guarded the pathways. Above, the twin moons spun lazily, casting silver glows on ancient battlefields and misty forests that stretched beyond sight.

Every breath Raka took buzzed with energy, like he had been plugged directly into the heartbeat of the universe.

---

They barely had time to admire the breathtaking view before a massive holographic interface materialized before them — shining in thin air.

The letters twisted and formed:

> "Genesis Arena System Initiated."

"First Challenge: Calibration Battle."

"Objective: Survive and Synchronize."

Without warning, the ground beneath their feet trembled.

Across the battlefield, six armored figures materialized — shimmering like mirages — each holding different weapons: twin blades, massive warhammers, curved bows, and even elemental staffs glowing ominously.

Iqiww whistled low.

"Calibration? Bro, this feels like an execution!"

Raka grinned, heart pounding in his chest.

"No more lobby waiting rooms, huh? It's real now."

A countdown flashed above them.

The battle erupted.

The six figures moved like storms — fast, relentless, deadly.

One leapt toward Raka, twin blades flashing.

Instinct kicked in.

Raka ducked low, rolling to the side just as the blade sliced through where his head had been. His armor adjusted instantly, kinetic energy absorbing the impact as he countered with a sharp punch to the figure's ribs.

The figure staggered back — not a glitch, not a hit marker — but a real, tangible reaction.

Meanwhile, Iqiww spun his greatsword with surprising grace, clashing against two opponents at once. Sparks flew with every blow, illuminating his fierce grin.

"This," Iqiww shouted over the noise, "is better than any match we ever played!"

Raka laughed, dodging another flurry of attacks.

For the first time in what felt like forever — he wasn't just surviving.

He was alive.

---

The battle stretched on, minutes bleeding into each other.

Raka adapted quickly — his armor evolving with each move he made, weapons forming and reforging in his hands based on his fighting style.

A sleek plasma dagger here.

A shield of pure energy there.

Iqiww was even crazier — at one point tossing his greatsword into an opponent, then summoning a bow out of thin air to finish another.

They moved like dancers across the battlefield — improvising, syncing, surviving.

Until finally, after what felt like hours, the last opponent dropped to one knee and vanished into mist.

---

The arena stilled.

Their breathing heavy, clothes tattered but spirits burning bright, Raka and Iqiww looked around, expecting another wave.

Instead, the holographic interface reappeared.

> "Calibration Complete."

"New Synchronization Levels Unlocked."

Their armor pulsed once — glowing lines of code weaving themselves into new patterns across the plates.

Above them, a colossal gate slowly creaked open, revealing a spiraling staircase of light leading upward into unknown heights.

Iqiww panted, clutching his knees.

"Bro... if that's just the warm-up," he said, laughing breathlessly, "we're either gonna die... or become legends."

Raka wiped sweat from his forehead, a fierce grin spreading across his face.

"No dying," he said. "Not yet."

He extended his hand.

Iqiww smirked, clapped it.

They walked toward the staircase together, backs straight, hearts pounding with a thrill even stronger than fear.

---

As they ascended, the battlefield below shrank into a glittering tapestry of war and wonder.

Ahead, new arenas, new challenges, and new enemies awaited.

But so did new allies.

New powers.

New stories.

And in the heart of Genesis Arena, a voice — old and unseen — whispered into the cosmos:

> "Two seeds have taken root."

"Watch how they grow."
