Chapter 1 - Prologue: Did I end up in the world of Dragon Ball?... Oh, shit

Darkness, it was the only "visible" thing of everything that could be perceived around her for quite a while, apart from knowing that she was in a closed, humid, and very tight space.

She felt as if she were submerged in some kind of bag filled with liquid, but without being able to drown. It was also quite suffocating, especially because she couldn't move. She also had no sense of time, not knowing if seconds, minutes, hours, or even days or weeks had passed since she was in this place. From time to time, she could vaguely hear some indistinct voices that she couldn't understand, as they sounded more like gibberish than a coherent language. She could also feel some kind of cord/line connected where she assumed her belly button was, which seemed to allow her to breathe oxygen, despite being submerged in that bag of liquid, even feeding her.

With all this, anyone with a bit of intelligence would know what was happening and where she was. However, there was a "person," or rather, a fetus, denying this possibility, not because she was stupid, but because she didn't want to accept the implications of being in this situation.

– (No, no, no... NO!!!) – The fetus thought desperately, vehemently refusing to recognize the inevitable conclusion she had reached: she had died, and now, somehow, she was a fetus in the womb of an unknown person. – (WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO ME?! EVERYTHING WAS SUPPOSED TO BE FINE, JUST WHEN I WAS ABOUT TO FIND A JOB, IMPROVE MY ECONOMIC SITUATION TO SUPPORT MY MOM, AND MOVE FORWARD! AND NOW THIS HAPPENS! No, calm down, María Fernanda, panicking won't change anything). – She told herself, now identified as María Fernanda, trying to keep calm in the face of her inexplicable and desperate situation.

– (Alright... to begin with, how did I die? I don't remember having a terminal illness that suddenly worsened to the point that I died instantly. I also don't remember getting into any altercation, like trying to save someone from being assaulted or abused, and getting killed for playing the heroine, or even being run over by the damn Truck of Isekais). – In fact, she had been quietly in her room, after cleaning and tidying up, lying down reading fanfics or watching anime to briefly escape from reality. She remembered watching the now-canonical fourth stage of Super Saiyan on TV, eating some chips and drinking Pepsi. She was quite excited because, in terms of design, she thought it was one of the best transformations in Dragon Ball, and the Super Saiyan Phase 4 from Daima had improved it quite a lot, at least in her opinion. The fact that it was now canonical only made everything better.

Anyway, nothing seemed out of the ordinary until, when she was eating a chip, it got stuck in her throat. She couldn't swallow that little piece properly, and in desperation, she tried to drink some Pepsi to help it go down, a grave mistake.

She didn't realize that the Pepsi was somewhat shaken, so when she opened it, a spray of foam ended up splashing her face, leaving her momentarily confused and causing her to trip and fall to the ground. But that was enough, because when she opened the bottle, the cap shot off towards a shelf that was apparently well-secured to the wall, but somehow the cap hit it, causing the shelf to fall. Thanks to the small shock of the Pepsi foam, she managed to swallow the stuck chip, but as if it were a cruel joke from the universe, just as she was beginning to recover from the scare of almost choking, the shelf full of books struck her head with force, leaving her momentarily dizzy and with blurry vision.

The last thing she could see was her mother, running towards her, visibly distressed and shouting in worry, as her consciousness faded into the darkness.

–...

– (Shit... Even though I didn't want to accept it, the reality is that I ended up dying, and I left my mom alone. I don't care about everything else, just the fact that I left her alone, even though I promised myself I would support her with everything I had from now on... I feel like crap, I don't even want to imagine how devastated my mom must be about my death, especially after my dad's recent death, and now she has lost her daughter right after her husband... Damn). – She thought with sadness, wanting to cry, but unable to, as she wasn't a child, let alone a baby; she was a damn fetus, and didn't even know how she had consciousness to reflect on what had happened.

– (I guess, all that's left is to accept this and move forward somehow). – She concluded, resigned to this perspective, but with no other option. – (Although, even though somehow I'm alive again, will I be in the same time period? Maybe years after my death, or somehow I ended up in the past? Will my birth still happen in the same world? Or are there really many other worlds besides hers? Although this might seem like something straight out of fanfics, I wouldn't discard such possibilities, since it's not that difficult or crazy to accept the idea of being born in the past or future, or in other worlds.

Especially now being a fetus with consciousness – (The Rose of Guadalupe was right all along).

– (If all of that is real, will the gods who send protagonists to other worlds also exist? So far, they haven't contacted me, and I don't even have any memory of having a conversation with such an entity before being sent here, or maybe they erased my memories of that encounter. I'm also not sure if I'll have some system, a golden finger, or things like that straight out of fanfics). – But she hoped that even if not, at least she might end up in a peaceful world where she could grow up well, live her life, and maybe form a family with a girl who loved her and was faithful, and she loved her back. She reflected on this last thought with longing. – (I just hope I'm born soon, it's suffocating and boring being here, trapped, doing nothing, and just tormenting myself with memories of my past life...). – She thought somewhat depressed by this, at least she had time to organize her thoughts and put them in order, but hopefully, it wouldn't be for too long, or she would lose her mind.

...

..

.

-An indeterminate time later-

– (Shit, it's really fucking boring being trapped here without being able to do anything, when can I get ou-). – But before she could continue her train of thought, she would see, or rather, feel, an intense light filling the entire dark space. First, as a tiny dot, and then expanding into a blinding light. Feeling a slight discomfort from the light, she would curl up more, uncomfortable. Then, she would feel herself being pushed towards that light.

– (So the moment has finally come, huh...). – She would think nervously, but also with some expectation, anything would be better than being here like an Immortal from Invincible (doing nothing).

When her head finally emerged from the fleshy opening, she felt a pair of hands gently hold her head and pull her body out, finally coming out without many complications. She had been hearing groans and grunts when her head came out, her mother, she assumed.

What was strange was that they didn't sound like screams of pain or anything like that. She hadn't been present at a childbirth, nor did she know much about the subject, but she thought it was painful, especially considering the many fanfics, anime/manga, series, or movies she had seen where such situations were portrayed, and the pregnant women always screamed in pain when giving birth. Could it be one of the many exaggerations from entertainment media, and in reality, although it's very painful, they didn't scream at the top of their lungs? Or was it that her new mother—how strange and uncomfortable it was to refer to a new person as such, but she had already reflected enough on this and would have to get used to it, she assumed—was just a woman with strong will?

Unaware of the baby's thoughts, the doctors present proceeded to inspect the baby's condition, ensuring that she was in perfect health. The baby, feeling the cold air and a new environment different from the previous one, as well as the amniotic fluid and mucus stuck to her body, began to cry to expel the amniotic fluid and mucus.

After this and feeling like she was being thoroughly inspected, she began to make an effort to open her eyes. At first, her gaze couldn't focus properly, but she gradually started to adjust and began inspecting her surroundings, which left her stunned and in a state of shock. The delivery room itself looked quite advanced, with technological equipment and patient monitoring tools—and other things she didn't recognize—more than what could be expected with Earth's technology for quite some time in the future, at least in the year she died. But it wasn't just this that left her stunned, no, it was the clearly non-human figures she saw working on these futuristic machines.

For example, the creature or person with a somewhat peculiar appearance to her who was inspecting her had green skin. Their face had a more elongated structure, and they had visible scales. Their eyes were bright yellow with vertical pupils, similar to those of a reptile. They had a large mouth with sharp fangs, which gave them an even more dangerous and predatory air, emphasizing their non-human nature and making them appear aggressive. They had a muscular build, and their body was covered with scales, especially on the torso and arms, giving them a lizard-like or reptilian appearance. They also had a long, thick tail, reinforcing their non-human creature look. Did I mention they looked like a damn humanoid REPTILE and had a reptilian appearance that made them seem like a reptile?

Despite their aggressive and intimidating appearance, their touch is gentle, they hold her delicately and naturally, performing some checks as if this wasn't their first time doing this kind of procedure, and it seems that it isn't. And just like them, there are quite a few other people or creatures, whatever they are. But they have different and peculiar appearances; some look human but have characteristics that a human shouldn't have.

It seems they are scientists or doctors from these facilities, and most of them wear some sort of light armor, in dark tones with golden details on the shoulders and lower torso. Their design is relatively simple, without many decorations, but it seems functional for combat and defense. They also wear combat gloves and boots, which appear to be part of their attire.

Shifting her gaze, she looked at the bed and saw a woman lying on it, her body glistening with sweat due to the effort exerted during childbirth—surprisingly, she didn't seem tired beyond the sweat, despite the exhausting activity. She has long black hair, tied in a braid that ends in several segments tied together, with a thick, pointy strand loose over her forehead. Her face isn't very expressive, with a regal and confident posture, exuding majesty, giving off a feeling as if she were some sort of noble or royalty. She wears a small golden earring on her left ear. And although she is wearing a typical hospital gown, suitable for giving birth at this moment, I can notice beside her a table with a combat armor similar, but quite different from the one worn by the other individuals in the room, and it's clear that this armor is feminine—I assume it belongs to her, being the only woman in the room without it on. It's armor with black, dark blue, red, and white details. The armor covers the torso and has yellow shoulder pads, with a long crimson cape. The base suit is a full-body suit, either dark blue or black, with long white gloves that cover up to the forearms, and combat boots in dark tones with white details. But putting her possible outfit aside, the woman herself looks strong, imposing, and athletic. Her legs are muscular and well-defined. She wears a red band on her left thigh, probably for aesthetic or combat purposes. And the most curious thing; she has a monkey tail coiled like a belt.

*Mother's Image*

(The image below only serves as a reference for some of the elements that are added as a combination of both outfits, as the image above is the true appearance of the protagonist's mother)

*Image of the Complementary Outfit*

Before she could evaluate the situation further, she heard the reptilian man saying something to the woman lying on the bed, and this time, somehow, she managed to understand the language of the conversation they were having.

– "Your Majesty, the child shows no complications, malformations, or anything of the sort. She is completely healthy and ready to be placed in the incubator." – The reptilian commented respectfully, she noticed. The woman merely nodded and, gesturing for them to hand her the child for a moment, complied and handed the small bundle wrapped in a towel, gently rocking it in her arms. While holding her, mother and daughter exchanged a glance.

The woman, although not showing much expression on her face, subtly conveyed that she was giving her a look full of love and affection. While she wasn't unfamiliar with this gaze and these feelings, it made her feel somewhat uncomfortable, considering she still remembered her old mother. But the warmth didn't feel bad at all, and it was far better than possibly having been reincarnated into a distant and dysfunctional family with domestic abuse involved. It was just a matter of getting used to her new life.

And while she was in her arms and the woman walked off to who knows where – which she found incredible because she had assumed that after giving birth, the woman should rest for a while – fatigue began to take over her mind, squinting her eyes because of it. Despite wanting to stay awake, she knew that with her little developing body, she would need plenty of rest.

So, she was just about to fall asleep reluctantly when, from the corner of her eye, she managed to glimpse a vertical glass capsule/container filled with liquid, with bubbles rising to the top, indicating a life support system. It was illuminated from above with an intense white light. The base seemed technological and was connected to the floor, probably to a control console.

The background of the new place was dark and dimly lit, with metallic walls in black and dark green tones, featuring details that resembled advanced alien technology from science fiction, especially due to the machines surrounding it.

It looked like some kind of military or scientific facility; however, she was amazed when she saw more of those bubbling water capsules around the one she had seen. So, she assumed those were the incubators, and while she was impressed by how technological they appeared, she figured she shouldn't be so surprised, considering the facilities were equipped with quite advanced technology.

Still, something about all of this felt oddly familiar to her – too familiar for her liking – as if she had seen all of this before, but she couldn't remember where. She assumed and attributed this to all the anime/manga, movies, series, and other things she had seen, because it's not like there weren't technological demonstrations in many of those works. But something felt wrong here; she had a bad feeling, as if she instinctively knew she wouldn't like finding out where she recognized this from. However, she pushed that feeling aside and noticed her mother approaching the reptilian man who had checked her.

Looking at her one last time, with the woman expressing some reluctance about this, she proceeded to hand the baby over to be placed in the incubator. And as the scientists did so, the child's fatigue finally won out, and she began to close her eyes, preparing to sleep. Not before hearing a soft murmur, almost inaudible, from her mother.

– "We'll see each other later, my princess." – She said a few brief words in a cold, indifferent tone, but the child noticed that it carried the maternal care and love that only a true mother could give to her children, filling her with warmth.

And as the woman walked away, the baby finally succumbed to the fatigue and fell asleep.

The steps of boots echoed through the hallways, belonging to a man with messy, spiky hair, featuring an inverted "M" shaped frontal line, a full beard with a mustache and goatee, giving him a mature and stern appearance. His thick eyebrows and intense gaze denoted an elevated power and pride. If María were awake and standing in front of this man, she would immediately recognize who he was.

This individual wore armor similar to the others who were with María in that room, except this battle armor was much more elaborate. The armor is white with red details and dark trim, with an insignia/symbol on the left side of the chest—unique details that reflect his status as an elite and noble figure.

The large, stylized shoulder pads are red with white lines, which makes his figure even more imposing. The broad, angular shape represents his authority and power. Attached to his shoulder pads, his long, majestic cape is a dark red with decorative white flames. A distinctive detail he shares with María's new mother is the tail wrapped around his waist. He wears a medallion or circular ornament hanging from his neck, possibly a symbol or artifact that represents his status. The overall impression of this individual is one of seriousness, commanding respect and power with a combination of nobility, strength, and pride.

*Insert Image of King Vegeta*

This imposing figure, who was heading towards the incubator room where the protagonist was, was none other than someone named Vegeta III, more commonly known as King Vegeta. Once he arrived and the other scientists/physicians noticed his presence and saw him, they immediately bowed respectfully to him.

– "I want to see my firstborn. Tell me, where is she? Take me to her." – He commanded, in a dignified and authoritative tone.

– "Yes, of course. This way, Your Majesty." – replied one of the scientists immediately and politely, guiding him to the incubator containing his daughter. Once he was in front of it, he observed her, looking seriously and unperturbed as she peacefully slept inside the incubator.

Taking a technological device that he already had prepared in his hands and putting it on his ear; by the way, this object has a compact shape, similar to an earpiece with an extension that goes over the ear, with the main part resting on the temple. It features a small translucent green screen that extends in front of the user's eye. These objects are commonly known as Scouters/Trackers.

He proceeded to press one of the side buttons while pointing it toward the baby in the incubator. Immediately, characters and numbers that constantly changed appeared on the Scouter's lens. These fluctuated between 500, 1000, and reached a maximum of 5000 registered units.

– "Incredible!!! When a Saiyan is born, they generally possess between 100 and 500, a maximum of 1000 power units, but the princess has just surpassed and become the Saiyan born with the greatest combat power ever recorded in the entire history of the Saiyans, even comparable to General Nappa, and this is just at birth!!!" – Exclaimed the other scientists incredulously as they read the Scouter's records.

They scanned her again with different Scouters to verify if it was the real result or a malfunction of the device, but no matter how many they tried, it always resulted in a maximum of 5000 power units. This, in itself, was unheard of; just at birth, she already had a terrifying level that was comparable to one of the most powerful Generals of the Saiyan Army. How much power would she have when she grows up?

Just thinking about this, the individual with spiky, flame-shaped hair couldn't help but smile with joy. With pride and arrogance filling his thoughts, he laughed loudly and, placing one of his hands on the incubator's glass, spoke. – "That's it! You, my daughter, my firstborn, will be the one to lead us Saiyans to the greatness we so deserve! With you, we will conquer the universe and rid ourselves of King Cold!" – He said, looking at his daughter with pride and euphoria, already imagining the moment when she would grow up enough for them to rebel -for now- against King Cold and conquer the universe.

They had been working as subordinates under his command for quite some time, because years ago, when they were doing what they always did – conquering planets and selling them – the infamy of the Saiyans reached the ears of the Emperor of the Universe, King Cold. Who, constantly expanding his empire throughout the universe and needing more conquering troops for his army, became intrigued by the abilities of the Saiyan Army. He decided to travel from galaxies away to personally pay them a little visit. It was then that he decided to persuade them – to conquer them with his immense power – so that they would work and cooperate with him. Since then, they have been "cooperating" with Cold's army, but to everyone, it was more than obvious that they were just another conquered race under his command, mere subordinates who, while worthy to serve in the conquests, were disposable. Even within Cold's army, while they respected how powerful they were – especially in Ozaru – they were still viewed as uncivilized, savage monkeys. Powerful monkeys, yes, but still nowhere near the true power of King Cold. Even all of them together in Ozaru against him couldn't do anything.

He could still vividly remember his defeat at the hands of King Cold.

When he arrived at Planet Vegeta and told them about working for him, obviously, the proud Saiyans got angry and refused, claiming they wouldn't cooperate or work under someone else's command, especially not under someone weaker than them. A grave mistake.

King Vegeta was kneeling on one knee, his vision blurry and barely able to keep one eye open. His body ached like never before, the kind of pain he had never experienced until that moment. He was covered in blood, with a deep gash in his chest that bled, and he could even taste his own blood accumulating in his mouth. His lungs burned as he tried to take a breath, panting from exhaustion and letting out slight groans of pain as he felt his badly injured and battered body. He could barely maintain a half-kneeling position after the intense battle he had just fought.

If it could even be called a battle, it was more like an overwhelming massacre. No matter what he did, the punches, kicks, strategies, and feints he made, the powerful energy attacks he sent towards King Cold, he could easily repel, deflect, and tank all of them with an overwhelming ease. It was terrifying how unshaken King Cold remained, despite King Vegeta, powerful as he was, being unable to land even a scratch, not even at his full power.

Other Saiyans joined the battle, creating artificial moons and transforming into Ozaru, but as soon as they entered the fight and King Cold noticed their presence, he killed them without hesitation with a single energy blast that pulverized them. King Vegeta couldn't do anything to prevent the deaths of thousands of Saiyans, many of them elites. Many other Saiyans didn't have the same luck of being pulverized; King Cold made sure to torture and play with all the Saiyans he faced, and with others, he simply pierced their bodies, stabbing in places like the heart or splitting them in half with his tail.

With hellish pain invading his entire body, it wasn't that that bothered King Vegeta the most, but rather his pride. The fact that he couldn't defeat King Cold and allowed him to kill his people like it was nothing was more than frustrating. It trampled, spat on, and rendered his pride as nothing more than insignificant and irrelevant.

King Vegeta could only watch his people die as if they were mosquitoes to be crushed, all because of a single individual. He observed his surroundings. Mountains of dead Saiyans, rivers of blood flowing across the battlefield, the surrounding environment was even unfamiliar to him, with smoking and charred craters, where once there were mountains, now only rubble or a flat and desolate terrain remained. Normally, they didn't care about the damage to the environment or architecture, but that was on other planets. Here, in this battlefield, was where the former grand royal palace stood, but now everything was unrecognizable.

– "Well? I suppose this is more than enough to show how superior I am to you all, don't you think, King Vegeta? I hope that now, after demonstrating my worth, you'll consider cooperating with my offer, heh, heh, heh." – The Cold Demon laughed, while blood – that wasn't his – soaked his massive body, dripping even from his tail, leaving a huge pool of blood beneath him. He wasn't bothered by the disrespect of being called weaker than them or being refused to "cooperate," as it had happened in many other civilizations. All he had to do was demonstrate the power of his army or go personally when dealing with civilizations that could put up significant resistance. With a small demonstration of power, he could bend many civilizations, even the most stubborn ones; like the Saiyans.

And he knew, from the information gathered by his subordinates, that they were too proud to submit to anyone, so he knew that even if they saw Cold's army and its power, they wouldn't fear him and would want to fight to the death. That's why he approached with the mentality of demonstrating his strength and forcing them to join under his command. – "Unless you want me to demonstrate a little more strength." – He threatened, narrowing his eyes slightly, with the implicit threat that he would continue massacring more Saiyans until they submitted.

– "Ugh... Fine, stop! You win... We the S-Saiyans surrender and will be under your command." – Filled with impotence and resignation, he proclaimed his surrender to King Cold, with a grimace of pain, lowering his head in servitude to him. Hiding the glare full of hatred and fury directed at King Cold.

The other Saiyans had no choice but to obey their monarch, and they did. They knelt and bowed their heads toward King Cold in surrender. The Cold Demon only gave a satisfied smile at this. Shortly after discussing the terms of their alliance and leaving some subordinates to build a base and monitor the Saiyans, he left with the remaining soldiers of his army in their respective ships.

And so they joined under his command, but with the pride of the Saiyans, despite having been easily conquered and defeated, they could not tolerate being under anyone's command, especially being despised in such a way. This was especially true for King Vegeta, who not only had to kneel and bow his head before Cold, but also before another individual who arrived three years later and was even more terrifying than King Cold himself. Bills, the God of Destruction. Thinking of that malnourished cat, a chill of terror and helplessness ran down King Vegeta's spine, but he discarded that feeling and became euphoric again. After all, it was time for the Saiyan resurgence as the strongest in the universe, no more bowing down and submitting to anyone.

– "Very well, I can't wait for you to grow up. My daughter, Courgette." – The King of the Saiyans declared happily. Without further ado, he proceeded to leave the room, wearing a satisfied smile, filled with a new sense of hope and the possibility of striking back against those who conquered them and, finally, conquering the universe.

– Where is...? Take me... –

– Your majesty... –

She could faintly hear murmurs, the sound of a brief conversation, which woke her up a little. How long had she been sleeping? She didn't know. She heard footsteps approaching her position, and shortly after, she felt someone was in front of her, watching her. After hearing some strange noises coming from the individual in front of her, she heard someone say now, more clearly, something that horrified her deeply.

– Incredible! When a Saiyan is born, they generally possess between 100 and 500, at most 1000 power units, the princess has just surpassed and become the Saiyan born with the highest recorded combat power in all of Saiyan history, even comparable to General Nappa, and just at birth!!! – She heard other people say a little further away. But none of that mattered to her.

– (What...?). – She questioned herself, unable to process and assimilate such a shocking discovery.

– (No...). –

– (No, no, no... NO!!! IT CAN'T BE, IT CAN'T BE WHAT I THINK IT IS!!!) – She thought in panic, vehemently refusing to believe such a possibility, but she couldn't deny what she heard. Keywords: Saiyans, Nappa, power units. It was undeniable where she had been reborn.

– (God, I never ask you for anything. But for the love of everything, please, don't let me be in the world I think I am. I beg you, whether it's you or any other divine entities that can hear me and sent me here, please don't let me be here, I'd rather be in Boku No Hero, Shingeki no Kyojin, maybe even in the world of Invincible, ANYWHERE BUT HERE!!!) – She prayed and pleaded to any benevolent entity that could hear her, that they hear her desperate plea for help and send her to a more peaceful world. But all of that was destined to fail.

She wanted to cry in helplessness, kick and escape from where she was at all costs. If she weren't in the incubator, she would be having a panic attack that would make her faint. After all, she was just a normal girl before reincarnating. And now, here she is, in one of the many worlds that are far too dangerous.

She knew that while it was impressive to see the characters' feats and battles from behind the screen, it would be totally different to see and witness all of that firsthand. It was one of the most dangerous worlds to live in.

She literally remembered that Master Roshi, a character who had long since been left behind in the power scale, was capable of pulverizing moons with a Kamehameha. Not to mention individuals like Vegeta Saga Saiyans, the Ginyu Force, and other planet-destroying characters, and those weren't even close to the level of strength of, for example, Frieza, King Cold, or other non-canon characters like Slug, Cooler, etc.

I mean, there are even characters like Perfect Cell who can destroy solar systems, Majin Buu who destroyed galaxies and could destroy Universe 7 without a problem if he wanted, especially in his most powerful form. And other very powerful characters, canon or not, from Dragon Ball Z. From Dragon Ball GT, Heroes, or even if we include fan-made content like Dragon Ball AF.

Characters who have time manipulation, can modify, alter, and travel between timelines among other things, powers like those or other completely broken abilities. That's not even counting the damn monsters from Dragon Ball Super, and even then, they're ants compared to the Gods of Destruction, especially Beerus, who can erase them from existence — literally.

And even Beerus is far inferior to the Angels and those from the Grand Priest. And the Grand Priest is supposedly inferior to the ball-headed... Oh god, the damn brat, that whimsical ball-headed brat, just thinking that he's real fills her with dread in her entire being, her soul itself trembled just imagining that being, that thing, is capable of ending entire multiverses and erasing them from existence, erasing timelines like it's nothing. Just because he didn't like it and casually did it with a gesture.

What could assure her that she won't be erased the next second? That by mere whim and boredom he won't erase the entire Dragon Ball world and start everything over from scratch? Not only that, she clearly heard something that she had initially dismissed. She heard someone mention "Princess." At first, she heard it from her new mother, but she dismissed it as a loving nickname. But hearing it from the individuals in front of her was different, that meant she really was one, but that didn't ease her fear in the slightest, it only made it worse. It didn't matter if she heard she was quite talented and had surpassed the recorded mark for Saiyans at birth, because she knew that in the grand scheme of things, she was nothing. Fuck, Broly literally was born with 10,000 and even much more power units, considering they couldn't read beyond that number! And don't even mention the monster that is Frieza, who was born with 120,000,000 power units, absolute madness!

She needed to calm down, panicking wouldn't help her at all... – She took a deep breath and began to analyze more deeply and clearly other aspects of her situation –.

And now that she knew she was the Princess of the Saiyans, was she born before or after Vegeta? Tarble? Did she take and replace the place of one of them? She didn't care; now she was in a race against time, because the Saiyans were nothing more than a doomed species. If they weren't killed by Frieza, it would be by Beerus. And nothing assured her that unpredictable changes wouldn't happen—she wouldn't be as naïve as most protagonists who think that as long as they don't intervene, the plot won't change. What nonsense. She knew very well that the butterfly effect is a bitch, and slight or major changes to the story could happen just from her birth, and something could end up killing her out of nowhere.

However, before she could continue her thought process, King Vegeta placed a hand on the glass of the incubator, making it shake slightly and startling her. Meanwhile, she heard King Vegeta laughing.

– That's it, you, my daughter, my firstborn, will be the one to lead us Saiyans to the greatness we so deserve! With you, we will conquer the universe and get rid of King Cold! – He said, with pride and obvious joy in his voice.

– (Dream on, bastard! I don't want to die, thank you very much!). – She thought, frightened at the prospect of trying to conquer the universe and oppose characters that King Vegeta had no idea how powerful they were. – (However, you just gave me some pretty valuable information). – Based on what he said, the Saiyans were still under King Cold's command, which meant he hadn't handed the army over to Frieza yet. And she understood that shortly after Frieza took command, King Vegeta impregnated the queen and they had Vegeta, and shortly after she got pregnant again and had Tarble.

If she remembered correctly, Vegeta was born in the year 732, and Tarble around 733, and it was in 737 that Frieza destroyed Planet Vegeta. But apparently, King Vegeta had her long before Frieza took command. How long before? She didn't know, and if by "firstborn" he meant in general and not just that she was the first daughter and not a son, then she should be at least between 6 to 9, or 11 years old at most depending on how long before Frieza's arrival it was, and taking into account she would remain 3 years in the incubator if she remembered correctly. Before the destruction of Planet Vegeta, she hoped that would be enough time to become strong enough to at least be able to defeat King Vegeta or the Ginyu Force.

– Very well, I can't wait for you to grow up. My daughter, Courgette. – She heard King Vegeta say, while she heard her now new name, and the sound of him leaving the room, his footsteps fading into the distance, with exhaustion and darkness once again taking over her consciousness. She only hoped she would have enough time to become as strong as possible before chaos erupted.

Alright, how was the introductory chapter? I made it last night and finished writing it earlier this morning, correcting the mistakes I could find and researching other things like the Dragon Ball timeline. That said, I'm sure there will be details about this in which I'm going to make mistakes, so I hope you can help notify me about them and correct them.

Besides, I'll be adding things like other non-canon characters into the fic, and other additions, like that the Scouters weren't given by Freezer—they were simply taken from the Tsufurujin like in Z, and Freezer just improved them—and I'll make a mix between different things that I'll take from both canon and non-canon material.

Anyway, was the chapter good? Should I keep writing it? Or should I just kill myself so I don't keep writing this crap XD? Opinions would really help me know if the story is going well and improve it as much as possible, and to be honest, I'm excited about this story and I have plenty of ideas I want to implement, I just hope I don't get discouraged and abandon it like the story of Yamamoto.

For now, I don't have much more to say and I already said everything I needed to. So this is where the chapter ends, see you in the next chapter—if I don't abandon the story—bye.
