Chapter 13 - What are his hands doing?

He never wastes time on such matters. Since someone wants to trouble him, then let everyone suffer.

If they dare to cause trouble for him, they should naturally know the consequences.

"Is it you? Hurry up and confess. If you don't want to talk, shall I have the housekeeper bring the mahjong table over, and we can play a game? Anyway, if you don't admit it, none of us will be getting any sleep tonight." Amir Hallow glanced at the flustered Ava Walker and spoke slowly, his words full of sarcasm.

"What is this, do you just like watching your wife make a fool of herself? Do you really not trust me?" Ava rushed in front of Amir Hallow, pointing at his nose and shouting.

"Isn't your embarrassment enough?" Amir forcefully brushed her hand aside, the large diamond on Ava's hand stinging his eyes.

"Shut up..." Flix Hallow stood up and stopped the argument between them, the two facing off like fighting cocks, glaring at each other, making the whole hall seem chaotic.

"This kind of thing shouldn't happen. Giving contraceptive pills, what is that supposed to be? Not wanting Charlotte Miller to have a baby early, is this really something the Hallows should be doing?" Kinsley Lee sighed, she usually didn't like Ava, but never directly pointed it out. However, the current situation was displeasing. She initially chose Amir, but now the continuous entanglement, even after Atlas got married, she had no restraint, becoming more excessive, which is simply unreasonable.

"I've said it before, it wasn't me. Why are you doubting me?" Ava was so anxious that tears were about to fall, her face flushed as she loudly spoke.

"Madam, don't make it difficult for Ava, it was I who gave the medicine." Just as Ava's tears slid down her cheeks, Ella Johnson, who had been in the kitchen, rushed into the living room.

In the Hallow Family, the division of labor was very fine, with those working in the kitchen and others responsible for the garden and lawn outside, there were even separate servants in the laundry room, and the daily cleaning crew was different. By rule, those who worked in the kitchen should not enter the living room, but this pale middle-aged woman rushed in, stood in front of Ava, and admitted that she was the one who put the medicine in the soup.

"Mom, what are you doing here?" Ava furrowed her carefully drawn brows, speaking in surprise.

"I can't watch them bully you, Ava, don't worry." Ella turned around to face everyone in the Hallow Family and loudly said, "I gave the medicine, it has nothing to do with Ava, she doesn't know anything."

Flix Hallow irritably rubbed his forehead and said to Butler Kent, "Go ask the young master to come down..."

When Atlas Hallow pushed open the room door, he unexpectedly found Charlotte Miller already bathed, changed, nestled on the couch sending messages on her phone. Upon seeing him enter, she put down her phone with a smile at the corners of her mouth, softly saying, "How is it? Do you know who gave the medicine?"

She wasn't particularly concerned about who administered the drug, she asked to divert his attention because she was messaging Ethan Baird, and this guy had his phone turned off. She guessed he was almost in C City, letting her newlywed husband find out she was trying to contact another man would not be ideal.

"You've finished your bath so quickly?" Atlas Hallow did not answer Charlotte's question, instead he sat by her side, speaking in a low voice.

"I didn't bathe, I was afraid of getting dizzy and fainting in the water, that would have been terrible..." Charlotte smiled embarrassedly, if she had fainted, it would really be hopeless, not killed by others but drowned while bathing.

"Mm, I was careless, I should have joined you in bathing..." His voice was even lower, looking at her delicate fair face, slowly dropping to her clear collarbones and settling there.

What was he saying? Charlotte's mind went boom, as if blown open, join her in bathing?

Did he mean taking a bath together?

How was he not following the normal script? Wasn't he supposed to, like the first day, sleep in the study due to his invisible ailment?

Charlotte's heartbeat went erratic, speeding up and slowing down, with no steady rhythm.

Her small face turned red, even her breathing became rapid, her slightly parted lips glowing with enticing softness...

Atlas Hallow slowly approached, her body's faint floral or fruity scent always tempting him not to leave, reaching around her back and pressing on her bra clasp, his low and husky voice seemed magical coming from his sexy, thin lips: "Why are you wearing this in the room?"

His fingers skillfully undid the little hook on her bra through her moon-white pajamas, and the moment the bra loosened, Charlotte's heart tightened to the extreme, as if it would burst out.

Though she stayed abroad for over three years and on campus had seen many unfit for children scenes, she had never been so intimate with a man.

His aura enveloped her overwhelmingly, seemingly locking her tightly, unable to escape or move...

Seeing her dazed like a scared little rabbit, Atlas leaned closer: "Have you had no experience in this three years abroad?"

His lips almost touching hers, the words from his lips didn't need air travel and directly infiltrated her breath. Charlotte instinctively shook her head, she had no experience, she used to be very resistant to men, how could she have experience?

His hand reached places not touched by anyone before, realizing this, Charlotte's body stiffened, then helplessly pushed against his strong chest, but it felt like touching a mountain, impossible to shake.

Everything was completely out of order...
