On a July afternoon, one like any other, the atmosphere of Konoha was tinged with a dark malicious aura, while two individuals, ironically with the approval of the village authorities, act together to destroy one of the strongest clans in the world.
While a shadowy individual calling himself Madara takes over the police station, a young Itachi makes his way through the Uchiha district, killing every member of the clan in his path. House to house, men, women and children, no one is forgiven.
Any spectator would think that nothing makes sense. How is a single individual capable of killing so many people so easily, without anyone being able to do anything? The answer is simple, he is not alone, someone prepared the ground, poison without a doubt, capable of dulling the senses and weakening its victims. But Itachi still had to use much of his power to finish off those who resisted and showed more teeth than they appeared to. It is at that precise moment that another player realized what was happening, someone who plans to ruin many things for all those playing the great game of power.
Madara quickly wiped out the police station, completely abusing his Mangekyou Sharingan, so he quickly moved to the Uchiha compound to verify his partner's work. Itachi, for his part, moved with surprising speed, killing entire families in a matter of seconds, and less than half an hour after it all began, he is already at his home, facing his most difficult challenge: his parents and his little brother.
With a determined face, the young ninja entered his house expecting harsh resistance from his father, but he was met by a Fugaku who offered no resistance, just like his wife. Itachi didn't hesitate and killed both of them, after promising to take care of Sasuke and being surprised to discover that his father also possessed the Mangekyou.
Just as Itachi is about to gouge out his parents' eyes, someone's footsteps are heard inside the house. For a moment, the young man thinks it's his little brother, but immediately dismisses it when he notices the sound of metal against metal, as if someone were wearing heavy armor.
With the door to the room open, Itachi quickly spots the owner of the footsteps, but to his horror, it is a man wearing heavy samurai armor and carrying Sasuke in his arms. The boy is in complete panic, but he can't say anything because one of the man's hands covers his mouth, and although he tries with all his might to break free or strike at his captor, his hands are useless against the metal armor.
"You missed one" the man says as he slowly approaches Itachi.
"Who are you?" Itachi asks coldly, as his sharingan manifests.
But a strong flash illuminates the room suddenly, blinding the young ninja, who reacts by jumping to the side, for fear of a surprise attack.
No attack comes, but upon regaining his sight, Itachi finds that the man is almost a few meters away from him.
"If you want, I can finish your work" says the man, this time staring at him through his demon mask, as if challenging him to use his sharingan again and with his hand exerting more force on little Sasuke's mouth, who lets out a muffled scream.
"Stop, don't do it" Itachi replies, backing away even further.
"Where was the decision that you used with the other members of your clan? I saw some of your work and let me tell you, it made me nauseous to see so many dead children. Did they deserve it?"
"You don't know what you're talking about"
"You're the one who doesn't know what you're doing. Allowing yourself to be manipulated by that vermin Danzo and seeking the most foolish paths"
Itachi's face shows surprise, but he quickly hides it, then threatens "Let him go"
"The children are not to blame for their parents' actions. If you had the strength to kill them all, you could have perfectly well forgiven the children, or kidnapped them and protected them from Danzo's clutches" The man's voice was cold and filled with hatred, as blood began to run from Sasuke's face. "But this one is different. He's your beloved brother, and for him you would do anything"
For the first time, Itachi shows fear on his face, and he doesn't really know what to do in this situation, to the point that sweat begins to accumulate all over his body. It is then that the unthinkable happens: the man simply throws the child in Itachi's direction, causing him to catch him in his arms.
Thinking the worst, Itachi covers Sasuke with his body and backs out of the room, but not before looking in the direction of the man and realizing that his parents' bodies have disappeared.
The man simply stands there, watching Itachi's actions as if they were a clown's spectacle. The young ninja finally realizes that the strange samurai had never sought a confrontation with him, but that his goal from the beginning was the bodies of his parents.
"You..." Itachi tries to say, but is interrupted by three kunais that break a window and hit the samurai in the back, or so it seems.
What the kunais end up hitting is a kind of force field around the samurai, which repels them as if it were a physical barrier.
The samurai responds immediately, albeit with the speed of a person dealing with something too trivial, pointing his right hand towards the window and producing a huge flare, more akin to a firestorm, that ends up blowing up the entire wall.
The explosion is thunderous, and Itachi chooses to protect his brother rather than consider getting involved in the problem at hand, speeding out of what's left of the house. Upon exiting, he finds Madara, arms crossed, staring back at the destroyed house.
"Looks like we have an unwelcome guest" Madara comments.
"Well, well, look what we have here. Uchihas killing Uchihas. What would the great Madara think of all this?" the samurai says as he leaves the ruined house.
"I'm Madara" replies the one who calls himself Madara.
"No, you're not. I know him very well, and the only thing you have in common with Madara is your name and your terrible style of dress" the samurai comments sarcastically.
Itachi realizes that the situation is getting out of hand and takes the unconscious Sasuke to quickly increase the distance with the two dangerous individuals, using the body flicker several times to reach the edge of the Uchiha compound.
"You don't know what you're getting into" Madara says, after noticing that the mysterious samurai doesn't react to Itachi's escape. "If you only knew what..."
The samurai abruptly interrupts Madara, raising a small object in his right hand and firing a laser-like beam directly at the latter's face, all at extreme speed. The laser lasts only a second, but it completely passes through Madara's body, literally slicing him in two, from top to bottom. But it all seems to do nothing to the ninja, as the laser ends up passing through him as if it were an illusion, although it destroys houses at a distance of over 100 meters.
"It was worth a try" the samurai comments, dropping the strange artifact he used, which ends up becoming a pile of molten metal on the ground.
Madara remains silent and simply observes his enemy, transforming his sharingan into Mangekyou.
The air around the samurai begins to vibrate and his mask creaks under the stress, then a flash is emitted from the horns of his helmet, as intense as sunlight, blinding Madara for an instant.
Two swords are conjured in the samurai's hands and he begins to walk towards Madara, who tries to focus his vision again, but is greeted by another flash.
"Haaaaaa!" Madara shouts as he begins to move erratically, almost by instinct, dodging the samurai's invisible attacks.
The attacks are fast and the sound of breaking glass increases the chaos of combat even more.
But the ninja's defense isn't perfect, and he soon loses his left hand. The flashes are successive and Madara cannot stop trying to see, because it is an instinct, until he finally gives up and transforms his body into a completely immaterial one.
But the samurai does not stop and when he is only meters away from Madara, he throws a strange object in his direction, a metallic sphere with no apparent use.
Madara remains on guard in his immaterial state, despite being partially blind, however, being only 2 meters away from him, the sphere detonates.
The explosion is a true anomaly, without light or fire, and ironically sends the samurai flying almost a hundred meters away, crashing into a house and disappearing into the rubble. Madara, for his part, remains standing, but the detonation literally shatters space. One of those cracks hits the ninja, causing the lower half of his body to be separated from the other.
At the moment of materializing, the two parts of Madara end up in different places, inside the explosion crater. He vomits blood onto the ground as he struggles to move with his one hand, only to realize he has nothing below his navel.
"Graaaaa shit, this is bad" Madara growls, then disappears in a spatial spiral, after his eye has recovered enough.
In the distance, Itachi can't believe what has happened. After leaving Sasuke in a safe place, the young man returned to the scene of the confrontation, only to find himself witnessing the bizarre fight between the two individuals, but the explosion resulting from the strange explosive left him completely speechless. Madara's ability to enter an immaterial state is terrifying, but the detonation literally shattered space itself, leaving a completely spherical crater over 20 meters across and destroying everything at a much greater distance, due to a deafening shock wave.
Itachi can assure that he cannot survive that level of attack. The bomb's owner himself shot out like an arrow, being much farther away than Madara, and he swore he saw him try to defend himself without success.
Itachi carefully approaches the spot where the samurai crashed but cannot find any trace of him, and upon returning to where Madara was, he finds that all of his body parts have also disappeared.
The young ninja realizes there's nothing he can do at the moment, considering the roar of the explosion will undoubtedly attract the village's attention, so he decides it's time to retreat and inform the Hokage of what just happened. Both Madara and the strange samurai are a threat to the safety of the village.
