The born of Rai.

In a world governed by fate, every human is born with a Thread – an ethereal, glowing string bound to their wrist the thread connects them to their destiny: love, success, tragedy, even death. It guides them through life, visible only the person belongs to , whispering to them in dreams , pulling them when they're lost.

Everyone has one.

Excepthim.

Rai was born on a stromy night, under a moon that flickered like a candle in the wind. The midwife gasped not because of his crying – but because his wrist was bare. No glow.No thread. No fate.

He was the boy without a Thread.

People whispered. Superstition spread like wildlife.

"He's cursed."

" A demon in human skin.."

"The gods forgot him."

The village elder tried calm the rumors, claiming Rai was "free," unbound by destiny. But freedom, to a world terrifying than chains.

As Rai grew older, the differences became clearer. He didn't hear the whispers of the thread at night. He couldn't feel the pull when he was lost and worse –his presence made other people's threads flicker....dum.

.. sometimes even snap.

At 10 he was banned from festivals.

At 12, forbidden from school.

At 14, he lived alone at the edge of the village in a small wooden house built with his own hands his only companions were the stars aboveand the wind that didn't judge him.

But Rai didn't pity himself. Not outwardly..

He trained his body, sharpened his senses, and studies old scrolls left behind by travelers. If the world become strong enough that it couldn't hurt him .

Yet deep inside, a question gnawed at him every night.

"Why am I the only one without a thread?"

That answer came on the night of his 16th birthday.

He stood a top off cliff, watching the fireworks explode from the village festival he wasn't allowed to attend. His eyes reflected the colors – but this heart felt cold. Just as he turned to leave, a binding light streaked across the sky . A falling star.

No – not a star.

A person.

They crashed into the forest below in a blaze of blue flame.

Rai hesitated only a second before leaping down from the cliff, his feet silent against stone and dirt. Branches whipped against his face as he sprinted through the trees, guides by instinct alone.

Then he found it.

A girl – Barely older than him – unconscious, surrounded by glowing blue dust. Her body hummed with power, and from her wrist trailed not a single thread... But a thousand, flickering wildly, each one connecting something unseen in the air.

She opened her eyes. Silver.

She looked at Rai and whispered one word;

" Threadless..."
