Chapter 4 - Chapter 4

Chapter 4: The Priestess Miss, Tea Flavor Overflowing!

While Lyle was chatting with Belis.

From a distance, a pair of beautiful eyes were locked onto them.

The priestess miss Emilia had been watching the whole time, Lyle and Belis chatting and laughing.

There was no one to make dinner today, and with Lyle feeding her mouth, Emilia had no choice but to go out and look for food.

After eating for a long time, her mouth still had no flavor.

Lyle might not be a great scholar, but he was definitely a great cook.

Emilia was frustrated inside, then she looked up and saw the Crystal Tear Guild leader trying to recruit Lyle.

Lyle rejected her, which made Emilia secretly happy.

But... how could you talk and laugh with that cheap woman?

Tsk, so disgusting.

Instead of trying to please me and lift my skirt, are you planning to stay next to this green tea?

Aren't you always trying to get your hands under my clothes?

Emilia almost wanted to slap that woman.

But Lyle was the type who didn't respond to force.

"Lyle..."

Lyle looked up and saw Emilia's tired and haggard expression, her eyes red and swollen, as if she had been crying.

"Emilia?"

Lyle froze for a moment: "How are you here?"

His heart relaxed a bit.

If it had been Xiya, she'd probably be accusing him of being a traitor by now, right?

Just thinking about it made Lyle feel his breathing become a little labored.

"Xiya got mad, didn't have dinner, I was worried so I came out to buy something."

Ah... actually, it was to buy for herself.

She cautiously sat beside Lyle, slightly bowing and speaking, her priest's robe collar was tightly closed, but those rounded breasts swayed like wine glasses, every gesture exuding an implicit, seductive allure.

But Emilia's long eyelashes already had tears hanging from them: "Lyle, I really didn't know Xiya would say something like that... if I had been there, it would have been different..."

With a light sentence, Emilia had already moved herself to Lyle's camp.

She even deliberately pressed her legs together and put a hand on her long skirt.

Her rounded, full legs, combined with her pure and pitiful expression, created a charm that made men's blood surge.

She wasn't wearing stockings today, what a pity.

The priestess's warm, full body was pressing toward him, and Lyle could only reach out and support her shoulder.

In the Moonlit Bloom guild, the person closest to him was this priestess.

She was gentle, never showing him any coldness.

She believed in the Holy Light, was wise and understanding.

Lyle felt a little guilty: "I can only accompany you this far, Emilia, I'm sorry."

This still wasn't enough... Emilia's irritation surged in waves.

She was much smarter than Xiya.

The few people who had been with her and twisted things around like this, probably only Lyle could do it.

She never thought he would leave.

Without him, how would she have such good days?

Emilia wiped her tears, looking pitiful, biting her lip: "Can you come back? I really need you..."

She was acting like a helpless little kitten.

Putting herself out, throwing the blame on Xiya's head.

Then, reminiscing about the beautiful memories, she evoked a sense of camaraderie.

Finally, she asked if he had any complaints, and said she was afraid she'd make a mistake.

The tea skills of the priestess were truly top-notch.

Belis, listening to all of this, was shocked.

What kind of absolutely perfect teammate was Lyle?

Bringing him home as a husband didn't sound too bad!

Emilia's eyes were filled with confusion and longing, her throat making a soft hum like a kitten.

She was still sobbing!

Belis asked, "After all this talk, you two really haven't done anything?"

Emilia's expression froze on her face.

Lyle wiped the tears off her face, then slowly and firmly shook his head.

"Go back early. This is the decision I made after careful consideration, Emilia. You all deserve a better scholar."

"Lyle, you..."

Looking at Lyle's back, Amelia bit her finger hard.

He used to complain to me about the grievances he suffered at Xiya's place.

Then he would always be so obedient, acting cute and charming, doing whatever I asked him to do.

But now he's actually running away from me?

Someone is trying to take Lyle away…

That slut, Bellis.

And that damned bitch, Xiya!

...

Under the starry sky.

Bellis looked at Lyle beside her, her expression slightly hesitant.

"Are you okay? Won't your teammates misunderstand?"

But the woman's intuition told her.

That priest... doesn't seem like a good person either.

Lyle shook his head. "It's fine, I should be thanking you, really."

Bellis smiled happily, her lips curving like a little forest fairy. "Then join us at Crystal Tear!"

This feeling of being valued and lifted up... it's quite nice.

It's not that I want to be above others, but at least, I want people to see my abilities and efforts.

It makes me feel happy inside.

Actually, as a scholar without any formal education, being with the three of them, having made it to this point with Moonlight Bloom, everyone would have to look at me with more respect, right?

But why does Xiya always lecture me as if it's a given?

Am I really just being too obsequious?

Lyle finally shook his head. "No thanks, I appreciate it."

Bellis shrugged helplessly.

Lyle was truly scared.

At first, everyone gathered together for a shared dream, but time changes people. The human heart is something that can't withstand scrutiny.

"I'm not saying Crystal Tear is bad, just... I probably won't enter the dungeon anymore."

Bellis seemed to understand something, falling silent for a moment.

"Don't think too much about it."

Bellis smiled. "If you don't want to go to the dungeon, then just enjoy yourself. There are many beautiful places in Iofer."

"Thanks."
