Chapter 13 - Chapter 13: The First Showcase

For some reason, Rai felt uneasy seeing her classmates whispering to each other while occasionally glancing her way. Something was off, but she chose to ignore it.

Meanwhile, Keil kept to himself, seemingly indifferent. He was used to being misunderstood, and isolation had become a familiar companion.

The second day began with morning runs and weight training. Although the boys had a significantly heavier workout routine, Rai still felt she had the upper hand. Her stamina in her new female body allowed her to recover faster and conserve energy more efficiently. Watching the boys collapse one by one like disaster victims only reinforced her belief—becoming a girl might've been the best decision she ever made.

During the communal bath, her classmates began asking questions—mostly about her relationship with Keil. Rai casually replied, "There's nothing going on between us," but many of them didn't look convinced.

The first day of class quickly turned into a power display. Some students had already obtained servant jinns or artificial khodams, and they weren't shy about showing them off.

All eyes shifted to Rai when she summoned her artificial khodam. Twelve armed skeletons appeared in formation, standing like disciplined soldiers. The other students were stunned at how powerful her creation was.

The training duels began, and it didn't take long before Rai's skeleton army overwhelmed several opponents. The others could only compare their artificial khodams to hers, and it became clear very few were on the same level.

Houyi, ever mysterious, showcased a cloak—his artificial khodam—that could hide the presence of his real khodam. No one had seen what lay beneath the cloak, but its aura alone kept people wary.

Anna and Unna, the twin sisters, had matching artificial khodams and artifacts—maid uniforms that perfectly matched their cat-eared helper spirits. Their teamwork was almost eerie.

Rara, unfortunately, hadn't acquired either a servant jinn or an artificial khodam. Those things were expensive. Diana and Alfin were in similar situations, both coming from modest families and relying only on their innate khodams.

After class, Rai made her way back to see Rosso the shaman. She remembered his promise to help her obtain a servant jinn. Deep down, she knew that was the next step in unlocking her full potential.

After proudly showing off her artificial khodam, Rai headed straight to Rosso the shaman's chamber.

"Well, someone looks happy. How's your artificial khodam?" Rosso asked with a knowing smile.

"It's incredibly strong. Even the skeletons can be trained gradually. They're getting better at fighting," Rai replied, her voice filled with satisfaction.

"That's good to hear. Well, it should be powerful. An overpowered khodam with absurd conditions to summon—it's only fair," Rosso chuckled.

"Master, are you really going to take me to find a Milkmaid Djinn?" Rai asked, her eyes sparkling with anticipation.

"Yes. And the one I'm taking you to might be quite unique among her kind," Rosso said, lowering his voice slightly. "She has wings like a succubus growing from her back, which makes her look like a corrupted unicorn—minus the horn."

"Sounds... harder to capture?" Rai raised an eyebrow.

"Definitely," Rosso nodded. "I can show you the location, but forming a contract with her will be up to you. She's seen as a divine figure by the others in her village—worshipped, even. Apparently, the other Milkmaid Djinn see her as a descendant of the gods."

"How many are in the village?" Rai asked.

"About twenty-four male and thirty female Milkmaid Djinn. If you want, you can eliminate the rest and just contract the one with succubus wings," Rosso said without flinching.

"And she... still produces milk like the others?" Rai asked carefully, lowering her voice. "You know what I mean, Master…"

Rosso let out a low laugh. "She produces more. And better quality too. The milk from a succubus-winged Milkmaid Djinn is far more potent than the regular kind. With it, you might even surpass Rara's curves… or even Anna and Unna's combined."

Rai's eyes lit up, ambition clearly glowing behind them.

"Alright, are you ready? If you are, summon your khodam and take a seat in that comfy chair—it's quite relaxing," said Rosso with a calm tone.

Rai nodded and settled into the plush chair that looked as if it could swallow her whole. It wasn't that she couldn't move her main body while using her khodam—it was just that her ability to multitask was still lacking. Controlling two bodies at once was tricky. It was easier to just let her real body relax and shut her eyes, allowing her full focus to flow into her khodam.

As she exhaled and summoned her khodam, a majestic angelic figure appeared—radiant wings spread wide, a breathtaking face, and a flawless, alluring body.

Rosso shook his head slightly. "You know... if you keep using this khodam frequently, it might start affecting your real body. With proportions like that, you could end up being more influenced than you think," he muttered, settling into his own chair before calling out his own khodam.

A tall man appeared beside him, with long flowing hair, a powerful dragon tail, and glistening blue scales that covered much of his muscular body. Cold energy emanated from him like a frostbite warning.

"I'll step in if you're about to die or surrender. But until then, fight boldly. Attacking a village of djinn isn't easy, even a small one. You'll be outnumbered," Rosso said, now fully synced with his khodam.

Then, Rosso opened a swirling portal to the spirit realm. Together, they stepped in—khodams first—and once the portal closed behind them, they were standing on an open, wind-blown grassy plain.

They stood atop a small hill. Below, dozens of Milkmaid Djinn were kneeling in prayer, gathered around a central figure: the Milkmaid Djinn with crimson succubus wings, glowing like a divine idol.

"Are you ready for battle?" Rosso asked. "This can be repeated as many times as you need—it's also part of your training."

Rai's khodam nodded once and spread her wings, soaring toward the bizarre ritual taking place below.

As she flew closer, several of the Milkmaid Djinn noticed her presence and quickly alerted the others. Their eyes narrowed. Their hands raised. A strange pink energy shimmered in their palms—then, with coordinated movements, they pulled back invisible bowstrings.

From nothing, arrows of concentrated pink magic took form. The tips glowed like hearts, each one pulsing with magical energy.

Rai's khodam hesitated mid-air. Wait… do Milkmaid Djinn have combat abilities like this? she thought, alarmed by the sudden show of power.
