Alias's POV
I got a phone call from James saying he wanted to plan a party for Val. I allowed it. Sure, I was a bit protective but Valer was the only family I had and I want to make her life full with joy. I still haven't figure what to give her because mom's necklace was our parent's gift if they were still alive. I was still lost in thoughts whule cooking our breakfast, when an idea pops up in my mind. Just a few seconds after that, Alex mindlinked me. 'Hey Alias. Tomorrow is Valerie's birthday right' he asked with some curiosity. I was surprise he knew about my sister's birthday but then again I probaly have told him. 'Yeah. I am planning a small party for her.' He didn't respond. 'You can come if you want'. He was still silent and quickly ended the link.

Valerie's POV
It was a day my birthday but nobody has said anything as if they didn't know anything but of course they did. I wasn't that dumb and knew they were preparing a party.
I watched the sunset from my window. It had a perfect view. I read a book to waste my time. The sun went down completly and it was about to be midnight. I walked into the living room and saw my brother and bestfriends with a cake! It was a chocolate cake,my favorite flavour. I quickly spotted the gifts. Itwas a small party for only us. "I knew you guys were up to something", I exclaimed. Jane gave me a 'duh' look and James stare at me with joy. My brother on the other looked like he was glaring at James. We ate and talked. Even my brother was there, he didn't talk much. Before I realized it, it was midnight. It was time for my first shift. I had to take my clithes off and of course I put on a white sheet. I would shift in it and when I shift back to my human form, I would go ti my room. It was one in the morning. And my wolf came. 'Hello Valerie. I'm Vena'. 'Hello my dear wolf. It's great to see you.' ' It's going to be your first shift. It'll be painful but you can do it.' I just gave her a nod through my mind. It started. Everyone was right. It was indeed painful.I shifted into my wolf form after a quite long painful session. "She's beautiful", Jane gasped. I shifted back in my room. James and Jane went back as the party was over. My brother gifted me our mom's necklace which made me cry in sadness and joy. I went to sleep soon enough.
