The incense burner lets out a floral aroma around the room as the maid fixes the meal on a lap tray set aside for Chloe. A princess treatment was all she desired, as she was intoxicated with immense love and attention Nate would always give to her. Locked in a deeply devoted love since childhood, Nate and Chloe grew up to become best of friends and turned out to be the perfect match for each other. Chloe quickly took off her facial mask to have breakfast presented to her in her room. "Thanks Rosie, you're far too kind" She says, flashing a toothy smile at the sight of the sumptuous sandwich made for her by Rosie, her personal maid. "Common Chloe we do this all day, get use to it already" said Chloe as they let out squeals of laughter.
"You are the best Rosie, the best! " She says as she eats her breakfast at a fast pace due the delicious taste of the sandwich, sandwich and coffee was her favorite breakfast.
"Slow down or you will choke, are you not forgetting something Chloe?"
"Am I?"
"Your prince?"
"My prince…oh no Nate, I did not forget actually, I'll call him now" she says as she licks off the butter from her fingers and reaches out for her phone.
A sudden calm came into the room and her eating pace reduced as she became careful to hear her phone ring.
"My queen, Enchanting queen, how was your sleep beautiful?" Says Nate as his soothing voice went through Chloe's spine sending sensational chill and amusement to her body.
"This queen misses her king a lot, you not being here gives me nightmares, I do not sleep on time and I cannot stop thinking about you " Chloe's says mimicking the voice of a child.
Nate fascinated by her usual behavior lets out a laughter that could light up a glooming atmosphere, he is always mesmerized by her unique personality for that he found her exceptional and had eyes for only her. "Listen my damsel, work here is so cumbersome, I barely sleep at night, just busy on my laptop and attended business conferences and press conferences, oh! It's been long I tasted your delicious soup, how I long for your beautiful smile and your tender hands, but I'm sure to return soon"
" It's no problem, I know you would return, but it's so lonely here, I would be going out for shopping today, do you want me to get you something at 'GEORGE SALES'?, they are offering discounts and I do not want to miss out" said Chloe as they gave out a unique laughter they invented for themselves.
" No you have fun, when I get back I'll take you out for a special dinner at any special eatery you like, you deserve something special "
Rosie who had been cleaning the room signals Chloe that's she leaving the room as their lovey dovey was become intense, Chloe gave out a mischievous smile to show how much she was enjoying it. Rosie was in her twenties so she could relate with Chloe's emotional burst and shook her head as she exits the room.
"A dinner is not bad, but let's also go for a photoshoot and then we can go to the cinema to watch a trending movie " an excited Chloe says.
"Okay baby, anything for my princess, I'll have to go now, expect me soon my love"
"Okay my prince, see you soon" Chloe says as she ends the call and places it on her chest, she was filled with longing and affection.
Nate and Chloe relationship is more of friendship as they had each other's backs, having to grow up in same vicinity and experiencing all kinds of childhood fun together, their lives were initiated by an inseparable bond. They both suffer from the fear of ever losing each other and tagged their love life as love till infinity. Love filled with innocence and genuity, interwoven with trust and immense affection, an inseperable bond indeed!
After the phone conversation, Nate pondered on what Chloe's reaction would be if he carries out his plan of proposing to her when he returns, he was ready to walk down the aisle with her, she was his ideal girl and he does not want to waste more time in dating as he was ready to get married to his queen. It was also her dream to get married to him, she would always give beautiful imaginary scenario of what their wedding would be like, the kind of guests and decorations, Nate cannot help but smile, she was such an exceptional jewel in his eyes.

" Tell me Rosie, what could I possibly wear for my dinner with Nate, I really want to look exceptional"
"You're exceptional, Chloe"
"I know and love that he thinks of me as exceptional but I want to really stand out that night, maybe wear that dress he always wants me to wear"

"Yes that one, that is the one" Chloe goes aback on beautiful memories she has with Nate, she remembers the night he bought her the flowing red gown that matches with her skin radiant and the gold necklace to accompany the dress. She remembers the promises of the night they made to each other, the laughter, the hugs and kisses they shared passionately, she affirmed that Nate was the one she wants to spend the rest of her life with.
"He really loves you Chloe my dear" Rosie says patting Chloe's shoulders.
"Yes he does, I just do not want to ever leave his side, the more we are far from each other the more I realize our attractions, I pray to be with him forever and that nothing comes in between us"
"Our love is evidential, so evidential" she added
Chloe maintains her relationship conversations with Rosie as she sees her as a confidant, and she does not have lot of friends to speak to aside Rosie whom she trusts than few friends who she does not tag as reliable friends. She has become so attached to Nate that they are not only lovers but best friends and one would think of them as siblings.
Rosie smiles calmly at Chloe as she tries to take care of her plates. "No please, i'll do that, go have breakfast " Chloe says to Rosie as she nods her head and leaves the room.
" What could possibly come between us, not even money, fame or another woman, he's safe in my hands and I am safe in his hands" Chloe says to reassure herself.

Nate stands akimbo as he watches the busy streets from his office window, he is lost in thought as he thinks of how Chloe would take his proposal surprise, they have been engaged for years and he has not been around for quite awhile due to his busy work schedule, a legacy of his father's he must uphold. Ruminating on how he plans to balance work and family when he finally propose to her and settles down to have a family, she was his ideal queen, she possessed all he wants in a woman, her joviality and fascinating charisma brightens his mood.
"Oh baby, I really miss you so much, can't wait to get this work load off my head and place that ring on your gorgeous finger, but why do I have this sober feeling, I guess it is because of how much I miss you" Nate soliloquized as he sipped from the glass placed on his desk.
He has developed an aura of fear after weeks of being away from Chloe, he has been having strange feelings like the one he had as a kid when something is not right or is about to go wrong. "Am I rushing things, are we moving too fast?, it's been years and this is definitely the right decision to make, maybe I'm getting all this feelings due to stress, I really need to take a break from work and focus on my personal life, I just can't wait to make her my wife, a home filled with so much love, I wonder what our kids will look like, I bet one would have amazing eyes as mine, and the other can possess Chloe's little nose" Nate says as he lets out a laugh, returning to reality as he realized he has been talking to himself all along.
Nate Armstrong, is a man in his thirties who is more focused on social reality than the life he is beckoned on to live even in his disapproval, born into an affluent family, yet he lives a simple life and disassociates himself from pride.
