Chapter 3 - Ruin script Language

Over the next month Erin attended his classes while transcribing the book, it doesn't take him long to be able to read the book slowly like normal as he does he reads about the S Rank skill described.

The book read "Increasing EXP gained from all sources" it also has a passage explaining that this skill increases EXP gain by 1000%.

Once the month ended he turns into the head priests office and says he is only just starting on translating the book into english. He accepts his monthly payment and heads off as he is now ready to learn the new skill, a smile forming in his face.

As he continues to read the book and meditate on techniques described his reading speed and understanding greatly improve. He also starts trying to speak the words out loud. Over the month he finally feels an energising feeling all over his body as he finishes reading the book for the twentieth time and doing some meditation. Excitedly he goes over to the analysis sphear like the one he used on day one of this job.

Seeing his stats he is amazed and he sees that a new S Rank skill is on his stats called "Ultimate EXP boost" what interests him is that his S Rank skills can be improved one time. Confused that he didnt see any skills higher than S Rank when he was picking skills.

It nearly being the end of the month he finishes the translation into english for the head priest and spends the remaining few days relaxing and attending the tedious classes.

At the end of the month he heads into the head priest's office with the skill book in hand as well as an equally thick stack of papers.

"Head priest, as requested i've been attending the classes and i have also translated this book into english for you." Placing the papers and the book onto his desk with a heavy slam, Erin grins.

The head priest quickly with a greedy smile flicks through the papers, surprised he responds "great work! As a reward for this ill pay you an extra three gold coins." Handing Erin nine gold coins.

"Now that you have been with us for many months i want to focus on training your current skills. For the time being we will focus on your monster taming skill in the following month. You'll be taken out to the forest every week to practice on weak monsters nearby." The head priest says as he sends Erin away. Quickly as soon as Erin leaves the head priest reads the skill book intently before being shocked as not only is the whole book translated into english but there is also annotations on how to efficiently learn the skill. "That boy is too good for his own good, not only did he quickly translate a whole book in a language no one can read but also he must have learned the skill in such a short period of time." The head preist mumbles.

The next day Erin is woken by a preist saying "morning! Its time to get up and get ready as your heading off to the forest today."

Almost immediately Erin is ready and meets a group of C Rank adventurers to take him out into the forest. They quickly head out to the south forest a place only filled with low level insect monsters and slimes.

After spending a few hours the adventures manage to trap a few blue slimes and surprisingly a low level giant ant monster.

They set up camp around the trapped monsters as the mage of the group coaches Erin on how to channel mana to cast spells. It doesn't take long before Erin grasps the idea and manages to form a contract circle around one of the slimes. As the light fades he almost feels he can see the slimes stats in his minds eye.

Thinking about all the new stats of Arnold, apparently naming a tamed monster increases their strength but also seams to give them a skill. He decides to ask about it.

"Hey guys! When you name a monster why does it gain a skill?" Erin asks the group.

One responds with "named tamed monster have a chance of gaining a lower grade skill their Master has at random. Its not super reliable but its often why tamers will tame many of the same monster to try and get desired skills."

"I see!" Erin responds as he turns to the other three slimes and ant monster.
