As Xandriel and Victor began their journey, Victor suggested they should go to his home town first.
Then they went to Victor home town called Taile village, the village was not very populated, all the people know each other and they are all farmer and woodcutter. Their town was covered with a green grass everywhere and animal can be seen in any place.
As they reached Taile the children saw them and ran to welcome them.
Victor was surrounded by the children; they were asking a lot of question about the City life or whether he won the tournament at the festival.
An old came and welcome them, Victor notice the old man and said "Gramps how are you, are you good, did you miss me?" and began to lift him up and hugged him.
"This is my grandfather and the village chief Mr. Albert Black" said Victor pointing to his grandfather.
"Hello young man" said Albert and stretched out his hand "I hope Victor dint force you to come here"
Victor said in frustrated tone "Gramps I didn't force come on, he came on his own"
Xandriel was laughing and said "Thank you for having me sir. My name is Xandriel Vanquish I hope I don't disturb your work here"
Albert said in chuckle "There is nothing to do here it's peaceful and work a few hours a day. So, don't worry about it. But where did I heard your name Vanquish before I can't seem to recall it"
As soon as he said it Victor interrupt them.
"Behold this is my friend, my best friend the one and only son of King Richard and Queen Merium, the prince of Dragon heart Kingdom Xandriel Vanquish" said it like he was the royal announcer.
The children began to swarm at Xandriel and asked many questions.
Xandriel became confused not knowing what to answer first but then Albert came and shush away the children.
The sun went down and have dinner in a cosy room, the room was lighted up by the candle. They began to sleep and that night Xandriel have the same dream about the four terrible people and woke up.
He got out of the house and sat under the moonlight on the hill then came Victor.
"Can't get any sleep?" he asked quietly.
Xandriel replied "Yes, nightmare again"
Victor then said "listen to the sound of nature isn't it beautiful, it will help you sleep"
Xandriel then tried to listen and the sound was so soothing he fell asleep right away.
When he woke up the sun was already up the village people already went to work, a little girl was watching him carefully.
The little girl then said" the spirit loves you so much"
Xandriel was shocked to heard that and asked "little girl what is your name?"
"Lucy" she replied.
"You can see all this spirit too Lucy?" Xandriel asked in curious.
Lucy replied "yes sometime they speak to me"
Xandriel was so happy and said" Lucy you have a gift, tried to get along with the spirit and they will guide you and told you anything you want to know"
Lucy nodded and went to her house and Xandriel too went back to the house.
After a while a man came running inside Albert house and covered with fear.
Albert asked "what happened my friend tell me everything?"
The man then said" I was working at my outside the village then I noticed one of my sheep was missing and I went to look around after a while I saw my sheep was killed brutally and then I heard a noise coming from the other side of the mountain. I took a peek and saw a huge army of goblins and few ogres as if they were preparing for war, but then I look around saw a lich covered with darkness then he saw me and began to scream. I was so scared I just run away and reached here"
Victor quickly asked in hurry "Did they came after you, tell now?"
The man replied "I don't know I never look back"
Victor and Xandriel already know what to do and went out quickly.
The man asked Albert "What is going on?"
Albert said" If a lich notice if they are being watched they always find and killed them"
The man said" What? So that means they are coming here to killed me?"
Albert nodded in silent.
Xandriel and Victor warned the village to evacuate at a safe place before dawn and those who can fight stayed back to face the goblins.
The sun goes down the goblin army began to march towards the Taile village.
The lich then commands the goblin to attack with an arrow and fire.
The arrow fly but before it can reach the town an invisible force stops them and fall on the ground then Xandriel appear in front of the village gate.
It seems Xandriel already put up a big protected spell around the village. The people were so happy and began to have their hope up.
Xandriel then sheath his sword and said with a firm voice "if you want to get to the village you have to passed through me first"
The goblin then gets angry and scream while charging at Xandriel.
Goblin was nothing for Xandriel, he dodges all the attack easily and within a matter of time half of the army was taken out. The people cheered for him and shouted.
Victor was not in the frontline he was protecting the village just in case there are goblin that able to get through.
The Lich then summon a dark mana and cast a strong spell and tried to break through the barrier. The lich then summons a big lightning from the sky and strike the barrier and shattered it.
"Victor it's all up to you now" Xandriel shouted loudly.
"I will do my best" said Victor shoouting back at Xandriel.
Then the goblin ran pass Xandriel and the orges took over and attack Xandriel.
The goblin came in fast but Victor cut them down easily, the men also defend the village and killed the them.
Xandriel was busy fighting the Ogres imbued with Lich magic and Victor was also busy defending the village. The lich then took the chance and teleport inside the village and tried to find the man who saw them.
The man was inside Albert house, he was hiding when the Lich came in.
Xandriel then notice the lich was gone and yelled loudly "Victor go back to the house now!"
Victor notice the Lich disappearance quickly and ran towards his house but before he can reach it the lich came out with the man on his hand then disappeared along with all his army.
Victor ran inside quickly and saw his grandfather laying on the ground barely breathing.
He quickly sat down and hold him in his arm and started to cry.
"My boy" said Albert with a whispering tone "you have grown so much, before you came into my life my world was full of grey and white but you keep adding new colour every time you grown and made me so happy. Thank you so much" then began to let go of his life.
Victor's voice cracked as he cried out, the weight of sorrow pressing down on his chest like a stone
Xandriel then ran in quickly but only saw Albert laying on the ground.
Xandriel then called out Victor but got no response, then Lucy from the distance told him" He ran after the Lich"
Xandriel went back inside and tried to heal Albert.
The lich and his army reached their base to the other side of the mountain and tied up the man to later killed him. But then Victor arrived.
The Lich notice something different about him and was scared, immediately ordered his army to killed him before he could reach any further.
The goblin and ogres attacked him but could not reached him at all, they got killed instantly when they came in contact with the corrupted mana leaked out form Victor.
The Lich quickly cast a protection spell on himself and fly high up the sky and began chanting a dark spell.
Victor jumped and quickly reach to him and spam a fury of attack but the protection spell prevents him from reaching.
The Lich throw him to the ground, the force made the ground to break.
Victor then open his mouth like a wild beast and gather a ball of mana aiming to the Lich, the Lich notice and fire a beam of darkness to counter Victor mana ball and explode in the sky.
Victor run around trying to confused the Lich, the Lich cannot aim him properly and began to panic.
Then Victor suddenly appeared behind the Lich and send him down to the ground with a strong swing of his sword.
Even though The Lich was inside the protection ball he was able to feel the force of hitting the ground before the Lich could think of a way to defeat him Victor then dived towards him and swing his great sword and break the protection spell.
The Lich then tried to cast a spell but Victor pierced through his head and killed him instantly.
Xandriel then reached the Lich base later and found Victor standing motionless and like and empty shell.
Xandriel got closer and saw Victor that look nothing like him as if he was a different person.
Victor skin turn grey ashes and his hair was longer messy and have fangs and claw, in his chest a black smoke was coming out of it.
Xandriel then said "Victor are you there?"
Victor then tried to attacked Xandriel with his sword but Xandriel was able to dodge and blocked the attacked.
"Victor wake up, I don't know what is happening but you can fight it" said Xandriel
Victor just scream like a monster with no thought.
Xandriel keep trying to wake him up but nothing seems to worked on him, not only that Victor became stronger and stronger as they fight. So, he thought of a way to brought him back and lured him to the Taile village.
As the people were taking care of the people that got hurt during the fight Xandriel and Victor fall from the sky and landed on the village.
The people were afraid of what they saw and Xandriel warned not to get closer to him.
Victor then attacked Xandriel and they locked their sword together then Albert came out from the house, no wound to be seen.
Victor then saw him and the smoke coming out from his chest slowly stop and his skin and hair turned back to normal and slowly lose conscious and saw in a blurry view his grandfather and Xandriel asking if he was ok.
The morning came and Victor woke up and saw Xandriel and Albert having a conversation.
"Grandpa?" whispered in a low tone voice.
Xandriel and Albert heard it and looked at him but Victor went back to sleep before they noticed.
Then a week later Victor fully recovered and woke up and saw his grandfather and Xandriel.
"Grandfather, I thought you the Lich killed you! How can this be?" said Victor with a disbelief tone in his voice.
"Let Xandriel told you about all that ok" said Albert in a calm voice.
Xandriel then said" After I rushed inside the house, I saw Albert body and when I got closer, I can still hear his breathing and began to try healing him but nothing worked and he keep getting weaker every second. Then Lucy came in as she saw many spirits came in the house, she then helps me. She told me to use my spirit power and asked for help after that Albert wound close and heal up, he then breathes normally again"
Victor then said in a cracking voice "Thank you Xandriel, thank you for saving my grandfather"
Xandriel replied "I didn't do much it was Lucy who did most of the work, you should talk to her"
After that Xandriel send words to his father to protect the Taile village and send someone to protect them.
Day passed by, before they continued their journey bid farewell to the village people.
Victor thanks Lucy for saving his grandfather and to look after the village while he was gone and they hug.
Xandriel and Victor went passed a knight wearing a blue rose pattern armour, the knight bows down his head to Xandriel as they passed by Victor was looking at them confusedly.
"What is that knight doing out here?" Victor asked Xandriel not knowing anything.
Xandriel then said "Oh! Didn't I tell you I asked my father to send a capable soldier to protect the village a week ago"
Victor then said sarcastically "Then he sends one Knight to protect the whole village nice"
Xandriel then said giggling awkwardly "That's not a normal soldier Victor"
"What?" said Victor.
"That's the strongest Emrylin Knight: The Blue Rose Knight Sir Lancelot" said Xandriel in whispering tone.
Victor turned into a stone block and paused for a while.
"WHATTTTT!" his voiced echo throughout the forest and said "Let's go back Xandriel now!"
Xandriel was laughing as Victor was panicking wanting to see Sir Lancelot.
