The day has arrived to meet Ashkarith, Xandriel open the gateway entered the Dragon lair to finally knows the truth.
Xandriel arrived and said "I have come just as we promised, now tell me everything about the dreams"
Ashkarith looked at Xandriel eye carefully and said calmly" Now you are ready to know the truth"
"Long ago after the battle of the Crimson-Shadow War we thought we defeated the Genesis but we were wrong. One day The Holy Priest had a vision before he passed away in his bed, he was shaking all the time when he told the prophesy to the second king William Vanquish"
Xandriel said quietly "My grandfather?"
"Yes, he was there when the Holy Priest passed away." Ashkarith said.
"The Holy Priest said that he saw the shadow rise again and this time there will be stronger than ever, darkness was spreading on the entire world, the Shadow dragon hovering around the continent, his wing sweeps away all life, leaving chaos and despair everywhere he goes"
Xandriel was listening carefully.
"But in the mist of all those darkness there was one light shining brightly filled with hope, even the darkness cannot dim that light, it soon spread to people around him to fight the darkness with the chosen one."
Xandriel was shaking quietly.
"Then he saw, the Royal Dragon Heart Sigel on the chosen one back cape."
Xandriel was confused and asked "What does it mean?"
Ashkarith then said" It mean that the chosen one will be born form the Dragon Heart Kingdom Royal family"
Xandriel was shocked
Ashkarith continued "in his last moment the Holy Priest warned King Wiliam to not trust anyone and kept it as secret as the enemy were all around us without knowing"
"Time Passes, William had four son and one daughter as the youngest. King William kept a close eye on his son tried to find out who was the chosen one, but unfortunately lose his oldest son on the battle field, his body was never recover or seen anywhere"
"Soon King William passed away in old age waiting for the Chosen one, then your father was heir to the throne and became the king. King William thought that maybe Richard was the chosen one because of all his enormous strength and strong magic abilities but then fell in love with the Elf race and broke all the Kingdom laws and faced many challenges to married Queen Merium"
Xandriel was shocked knowing his parent marriage and challenged they faced.
"But soon Richard began get old proved that he was not the Chosen one as no war against the shadow was rise up or even occur it. Then one night all the kingdom mana was changing and react to it, I even felt the change in the air, the spirit was floating around with so much joy like they are welcoming a new spirit king was born. The cause of all that was because of a new born baby out of the human Royal blood and Elf Royal blood, that baby was you Xandriel, you are the Chosen one"
Xandriel was so shocked and broke down to his knee.
Xandriel, refusing to believe and said" This must be a mistake, I'm just a kid I can't fight an adult war, I can't be the Chosen one, there are other in the royal family who is strong and ready to fight.." his word were broken by a quiet sob " Why me? I can't do this"
Xandriel sat alone quietly in the lair, even the water dripping sound can be heard, he began to think about the future and the one he loves getting destroyed and just because he cannot take up his responsibilities.
Xandriel then stood up and said "Give me three reasons why you believe that I am the Chosen one because there isn't any proof that I am the one, even the prophecy only told the chosen one will be born form the royal blood. It means that it could be anyone from the royal blood so, tell me why do you think I am the chosen one?"
Ashkarith then answer the question "First, you are the only one who found me and came to my lair without passing out. Second, the spirit told me so and show themselves willingly to you. The last one is because you are brave enough to take on such a heavy burden not only that I also believe you Xandriel"
Xandriel then decided to believe it and accepted his destiny.
"So … What now?" he asked, stretched his head eyes wide open with a dumb sincerity.
Ashkartith began to laughed out loud, his laughed echo around the lair.
Xandriel in angry face "Come on, I just become the Chosen one I don't know what to do"
Ashkarith then stopped and said" First you need to find the Shadow Egg and destroy it before they awaken the new Shadow dragon Master. Next you need to find a new Dragon strong enough to take on the Shadow Dragon and raise the Dragon. Finally, the most important one, spread your light to other."
Xandriel, walked out form the lair and collapsed right away on the garden.
Elandir appeared and said with a proud voice" Well done, my boy. You are indeed the Chosen one."
Xandriel woke up in his room again.
His Parents came in and asked what happened, after he told the story his parent faced changed and sadness took them over.
"We knew this day will come eventually, we just can face the reality and refused to believe it" Richard said in a low tone voice.
Xandriel asked in curious "Why…What do you mean, father?"
"After I married your mother, we know that conceiving a baby between human and elf would be impossible, but we want it so much. So, we consult Elandir and he did know the way but told us it is very risky and could be dangerous for both you and your mother. But the desire to have a baby both blinded us and decided to give it a try."
"Elandir draw a magic circle on the tower floor and your mother needs to stay inside the circle all the time. Then the night that you were born the assassin came out of nowhere and tried to killed your mother but I was able to killed him, then you were there in my arm with so much mana, your body cannot hold it and you were about to follow your mother too."
Xandriel was listening carefully with a teary eye his mother holds him and tried to comfort him.
"I was blaming myself because of my selfish desire I am going to lose both of you. So, I laid you next to your mother for thinking at least you will be together in the after life but then you began to shine and transfer your magic to your mother and started to cry and your cried brought back Merium back to life" after that Richard started to cry feeling guilty for almost killing both his love one.
Xandriel then hug both his parents and said "Thank you, for bringing me to this world and for not giving up on having a baby" all of them start to cry on his bed.
Victor rush inside the room after he found out Xandriel was back as he saw they were crying he slowly back out awkwardly and close the door quietly.
After his parent left Xandriel began to fall asleep and began to have another dream.
He saw a someone about his age, he was in the middle of a strong hurricane crying. He tried to get closer to that person but the wind was too strong for him.
The air was spinning around and the crying keep getting louder, then Xandriel saw a huge pile of dead body was in the air as Xandriel began to run out of air he saw the crying person was looking at him and said in a crying voice" Help Me!"
Xandriel was confused, tear felled down on his face then he saw a golden headband shinning brightly and began to be sucked away in an empty place fill with darkness.
Xandriel then heard laughing from a distance, the laugh began to keep getting closer and closer then saw a smoke appeared and then disappeared again. The red smoke appeared to be getting closer and closer but disappeared every time.
Xandriel then saw a two glowing red blade attached to gauntlet but before he could see the person Xandriel felled down in a pit black hole.
Xandriel was falling for a while then he reached the ground still the darkness covered the whole place then he heard something.
Xandriel heard a church bell ringing in a distant, then he saw a ruined church.
He walked inside the church and saw that the place was filled with death body and blood everywhere as he reached the main hall, he saw something that shocked him to the core.
The chapel was made out of different kind of weapon, in the chapel there was a big tall shadow figure and it was holding a person that wore a bishop clothes and, in his hand, a unique rosary made of crystal wrap around can be seen.
Before he could react, the shadow saw him and began to scream in a horrifying tone that force Xandriel to get knocked out of the church.
Xandriel then woke up, drenched in sweat.
He immediately ran to train and tried to became stronger.
"If I need to face those things in my dream, I need to became stronger and have more courage" he thought to himself.
As he trained none stopped for a whole month, the people in the palace began to worried.
The combat instructor said "My Prince, please you need to rest, your body will not last long if you keep doing this" but Xandriel gave no replay and continued training.
He then continued the same routine for another month.
The whole time he was training Victor was watching from a distance as he was worried about him.
Then one day the King and Queen came, Elandir was also there in the back with Victor.
"it's time to fulfil your destiny my son" said the King, Queen Merium was crying and wrapped him in her arms like she never wanted to let him go.
In the back Victor was confused but he had already decided what he wanted to do in his heart.
The morning came, Xandriel was already up before the sun rise up and ready to begin his journey. He stands in front of the Dragon Heart Kingdom Gate, he looked back at the castle behind him that stand on the dragon hills. He thanks his parents and all the people he knew and lastly his only friend Victor and said goodbye and ready to face the new journey.
The Gate then began to open and Xandriel then began to walk towards the new world.
As soon as he reaches the outside world, he heard a voice from the back.
"I am coming with you" said Victor while leaning against the Kingdom wall folding his arm.
Xandriel was shocked and shouted "why are you here? Why did you stand like that its weird?"
Victor gets angry and yelled back "Shut Up! I can stand in any way I want. Don't ruin the moment ok I am trying to look cool"
Xandriel shout back "well don't do it, you don't look cool at all you look weird"
After they laugh around, they became quiet.
Victor then said" Xandriel whatever your journey is I am going with you; you are my best friend and only friend I cannot let you go in a world where you don't even know. So, let me guide you and help you.."
Xandrield then tried to interrupt him but get stop.
Victor then continue "I know it's an important journey and will be dangerous but I can handle it beside it's better to face an enemy with two than alone"
Xandriel stretched out his hand and said "Thank you partner it would be my pleasure to have you"
Victor then shook Xanndriel hand then ready to begin their journey.
