Chapter 8 - Next

It wasn't.

Lu Zhu got her peace as death softly embraced her in it's sweet grasps.

Vengeance fulfilled as even her father would live forever without her.

His own punishment for just watching the injustice.

Everyone got what they deserved.

Except him.

No longer in the body of Lu Ming, he was somewhere, anywhere?

There was nothing but pure blankness.

He couldn't care less if it wasn't for the slight fact that he wasn't dead.

Neither alive but the no death part irked him more.

It felt like a slight fire returning with a buzz in his soul.

As he realised this wasn't just a one time thing.

{Lu Ming smiles upon you.}

Wasn't the fucket supposed to be death?

Don't tell me you still have a conscious when dead?

This wasn't the agreement!!

{As he fades away in the sweet slumber of death.}

Oh rub it in, why don't you?

.

What now?

Will he just stay here unless someone's calls upon him again.

As if there are many who die and feel vengeance.

He, for one, would be just glad it's over.

Maybe he was overdoing it with the death thing?

Life wasn't that bad after all.

For a second silence consumed his mind space(?) before he laughed outloud.

This was ridiculous and life even more so.

{Arranging next....}

Ah man, apparently there really was another who's vengeance called upon him.

Now that he thought about it like that, he felt some superhero, who people depended on.

Awful.

It just brings more responsibility and a greater need to do good.

If he wasn't careful, he would even start saying things like;

For the greater good!

A sacrifice for the many.

Ugh.

Like what about the pitiful one?

He always hated those damn excuses, like just because it ain't your life doesn't mean you can treat it badly.

Slowly realisation trickled in.

Ah goddamn it.

This system matched him too perfectly, the life of one was trampled on.

Their hopes and dreams and he was she one to fight for vengeance for them.

Not that he did too much of fighting but in a way it made sense.

Sighing, he didn't what to do with the revelation.

It aligned with his morals but what about death?

Like the eternal rest?

No people and even better no thoughts.

{Preparing for transportation.}

Why don't you first tell me the purpose of this?

I guess not then.

Once more he felt sleep calling as thoughts faded in the background.

For a split second, he wondered where he would wake up next.
