Chapter 16 - Chapter 16: Fracture Beast Kai

Kai, Lynn, Fen and Chishiki prepare for the battle. Fen: "3 of them, what a pain in the ass! Hey you dog!" Kai: "I'm not your dog asswhipe!" Fen: "You and Lynn take the one on the Left, RSG you take the one on the right, I'll take the big boy in the centre." Everyone else nods but Kai argues with a scowl on his face, Kai: "Hold on why's this piece of garbage telling us what to do?!" Lynn: "Just come on, Kai." Fen: "I'm a former world 5 member! Just be a good dog and do what I say!" They all begin brawling with the beasts and end up losing badly. Fen on the other hand is holding up fine, he's taken out one of them but one of them manages to grab him and steal his Aether and begin overwhelming him. Fen eventually gets launched away and then the mysterious voice speaks once More, ???: "shame I thought you'd all hold up longer. I was actually beginning to get entertained." Kai: "Screw you, you garbage!" The announcer yawns and commands the ferals, ???: " go ahead and feast on them, they're all boring when their resolve is this weak. Anyway nice meeting you guys." Kai stares at the giant as they close in. Kai: "is this really how we die? To some stupid Ferals?! But ... But I haven't killed Zerath or become a world 5 member, or become stronger than Zara yet." Kai is snapped back into reality by a screams, these screams and cries belonged to Fumiko and Rhea, who where becoming the ferals' first dine in decades. This brief moment in time awakens something within him. He watches the monsters mercilessly and hungrily feast on Fumiko, Rhea and Lysander. Kai's heart pounds as sparks of Hollow Aether begin to surge from Kai's body as he screams. Fen, Lynn and Chishiki watch him transform into a fracture beast. The sight of this friends' ravaged bodies only makes his fracture beast form angrier. Kai's raw Aether activates but now, now it was different this level of anger and grief causes his raw Aether to transform into hollow Aether. Kai: "AAAAAAAGH!" Kai then transforms into a gigantic, hollow Aether empowered fracture beast.
