Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: Fen and Kai's intense sparring session

Fen is in the new training simulator, this simulator throws everything it's got at the former world 5 member. Hundreds of holographic Cursed soul remnants swarm him only to get eviscerated by Fen's Aether blade. The defeated horde of holographic Cursed soul remnants all dematerialise and fade away. Kai walks into the simulator with some water bottles. Kai: "here." Fen scoffs, Fen: "I don't need that!" Kai: "I don't care! We don't need an injured scout in the Eclipse Syndicate! Drink." Fen grunts, Kai: "yeah that's right were starting off as scouts (Scouts are the lowest rank in the Eclipse Syndicate)." Fen snatches the bottle out of his Kai's hands Fen: "You can shoo now!" Kai: "You know I've met a few world five members over the course of this week, but never fought any of them. Let's duel!" Fen: "no!" Kai: "oh come on, the team selection is in a few hours, we could squeeze in a few punches and kicks. " Fen: "I don't wanna break you." Kai: "Awww has the mighty lord Johan gone soft?!" Kai says mockingly. Fen: "fine, the nurse will have a hard time with you, when this is over." They toss their bottles aside and prepare for the fight. The simulator simulates a gigantic canyon around them. Kai smirks, Kai: "Totally sweet! The perfect battle arena!" Fen's body bursts with crimson Hollow Aether, Fen: "Get ready to die, you weak crap!" Kai activates his raw Aether, his hands and legs flaring with Blue, raging Aether. They charge at eachother, their fists clashes, destroying the rocky bodies around them with their energy. Fen flings a fist into Kai's gut, sending him through a few, nearby mountains. Kai finally lands on a hill. Kai coughs out some blood, Kai: "wow, what a punch!" Kai gets up, Kai: "he's had the upper hand this entire fight! I'll just have to step it up a notch!" Kai closes his eyes and takes a deep breath. Fen takes advantage of this opening and launches a kick a Kai's face. Making Kai collapsed to his knees. Fen continued throwing punches at Kai, he launched one final kick at him but Kai catches it and glares at him.
