The winged beast named Greed spoke with a menacing voice," For my master to claim her wish, you must die by my hands". Zack spoke, shocked," To achieve my goals, I can't die. Greed spoke taunting, "Your family died on earth you have nothing left to protect, so you must join them now".
The boy stood firmly unfaced because of Beau's ability, but deep down his heart was in deep agony. Zack shouted," I don't need Beau for this. You are lying. You are just trying to throw me off". Zack thought," Now I must stay calm and collected like Jeff". Because Jeff can't see him cry like he used to. Zack believed in Beau's advice and thought," A man can't cry in front of others". Zack was scared, but he stayed calm on the surface and noticed that even if Greed was serious about killing him, he could have done it without Talking. Zack felt like something was off since Greed's eyes looked dull and uninterested, as if it was an act. Zack thought to play the role of the hero like his brother used to do when they were younger. Dramatic feelings inside him drove this.
In short, Zack thought that Greed was acting and they were testing him. Zack shouts with deep anger, "I will save everyone and neither you nor your master can stop me". Greed laughed," You are greedy I like you, Zack Nelson. However, I like my master more so I will kill you since you disrespected her".
The demi-beast seemed more interested in killing him now. Zack mutters, "Guess my act backfired, and this is no test". Zack ducked after a wind blow almost penetrated his skull. Greed taunted," Not bad reflexes, but you will still die". In a life-threatening situation filled with acceleration, Zack dropped the button given to him by Beau. Greed picked it up and laughed," Your guardian can't help you. It's time to face your demise".
Zack was still shocked by the wind. "Magic exists", Zack wondered. And he was still smiling even if the situation was dire, he couldn't give up on his role of defeating the beast that took his brother and his family away from him. Beau's ability was still acting, so Zack acted abnormally. Just then, Greed froze, and he tried to use his ability, but it was no use. He was also intimidated for some reason. Zack gave Greed the shivers at that moment. Greed says, annoyed, "That was your ability. It would be a great help to beat the 13 beasts, but even so, you must die". Even if Greed was scared, he knew someone even scarier than Zack, who was his master named Deva. She had the acid ability and mind control, so the evil schemes she would commit against him were scarier than Zack's intimidation ability, so Greed couldn't fail.
Now, Greed will have to rely on his strength. He grabbed the boy by the neck and attempted to choke him to death. Zack was slowly fading. In an instant, Beau interfered in the last second. Greed felt a punch to the stomach. Greed taunted, "So you interfered. You broke the rules your master didn't call for you, so you are out of the competition to be king". Beau replies, annoyed, "You are mistaken. You destroyed the demi-beast summoner device, so I was able to interfere. Be gone now, or I will have no choice but to defend myself". Greed let go of Zack's neck. Zack grabbed his throat, gasping for air. He was breathing heavily but regained his composure after Beau stabilized him with his ability.
Greed thought while he stormed off, "A soft spot for humans. Now that is a first. I always knew you hated humans. If I think about it, the boy is special. Even though you are enchanted by him, Beau. I wonder if the time the device was broken, I must have stepped on it. Now I must endure Deva's torment. I hate her when she is angry. Beau rushed to Zack's side and shouted angrily, "I am not going to help again, got it? I told you to call me if you wanted assistance. Why didn't you? I was going to lose my chance to be king because of your foolish acts. Zack replied understandingly," At first, I thought he was role-playing this movie and Jeff watched it together because it had similar lines, I didn't expect he would try to kill me. Beau thought that explaining the situation to Zack was a hassle because the king was going to explain everything anyway. He felt no need to tell him anything, but that was why the boy faced danger to begin with. Beau cared only about his goal of being king and nothing else. Even if he felt sympathetic, that didn't mean he would help someone weak, but now he grinned because Zack's abilities were strong. Zack had an intimidation ability and a nullification ability. Greed went to the king before Zack could meet him to inform the king that Beau broke the rules accompanied by his master Deva. They couldn't meet with the king personally but they met with one of his guards and informed them hoping that the king would remove Beau from the competition.
There was the king and 5 guards whom he trusted that protected him and a magical miracle energy that could grant wishes. The king was very curious, so he wanted to meet Zack in person since it was considered an honor for anyone to see the king. This honor was given to all the candidates who were summoned for the first time so it wasn't strange at all. Beau instructed Zack on a few things before he met with his majesty.
