Sara was having a long argument with John. John told her that they wouldn't kill any people from the other universes and would not become monsters like the other universes. Sara didn't believe that John would decide to follow this path since it was a harder way to bring Zeta back. Sara believed that if she killed Zack, he would snap out of this state of foolishness and would act more realistically. John scolded Sara without looking at her since he hated her but was forced to work with her against his will since they were from the same universe and had no other choice.
Sara was shocked to see nonother than Zack, the guy they talked about, appearing out of nowhere behind John and her. Blake told John that this was the perfect time to kill Zack since he sensed that Beau exerted his powers, but John couldn't agree since he was moved by Zack's words in their first encounter. Sara was ready to fight Zack, but John stopped her. insisting they heard him first. Zack spoke in a concerned tone," I wish for your help I want to know more about what happened to Zeta and how Sara fit into the picture and your ability why did I dream this vision". Zack was very trusting of John, but that was very naïve. Soon, this decision would change his fate from complete darkness to a bright light. John explained that Sara makes people dream of the happiest moments in his life, which makes them fall asleep and vulnerable. Zack was shocked that his happiest memory was when he was a baby, but he knew he couldn't question the logic behind the ability but wondered why the dream kept going even after his happiest moments ended. Sara replied anxiously," it might be because of your nullification ability. it might want you to see the reality of the situation to wake you up. After all I learned from my demi beast that the abilities have a mind of their own". Zack was shocked but choose to let john explains their version of the story.
John explained his story where Sara was the one who discovered the truth behind the college, but it was also the day of the massacre. The monster in their universe was able to eat the human soul and control their corpse-like puppets.
Sara told John about the secret and John believed her but it was too late. Sara knew the secret way before that day. Still, she had no courage to tell John. After all, John's class wasn't chosen to get eaten, and she believed that she wouldn't tell him the truth just for John's well-being, but this ignorance caused John's brother Zeta to die and be turned into a mindless corpse. When John discovered the passing of his brother, he knew that if Sara had told John the truth earlier, he could have devised a plan for them to escape. John's agony caused him to be summoned as a candidate for the 5th universe. Sara felt grief over John's disappearance, so she confronted the monster and promised herself that she would kill the monster, but that was only a death sentence since she had no power to fight the beast. The guilt she felt for killing John's brother caused her to walk into her death. Because of these feelings of deep hatred for the beast, she awakened into the other candidate for the 5th universe. She met John a second time and discovered he wasn't dead, but Sara believed that it was all her fault. If she tried harder to escape with John and Zeta.
John's Brother Zeta would be alive right now. John was mad at Sara for keeping this secret, and Sara wanted to atone. She believed that the only way for John to be saved from this sorrow was for Zeta to come back to life. The demi-beast inside Sara with the sand ability promised her that if she killed the other candidates, her spot of becoming a warrior to save the world would come true, and she would wish for Zeta's return. Zack asked John about his parents. John's expression changed as he said that his parents died when he was young, and he was raised by his uncle until he left him to study at the Demonic Soul College. Zack knew everything and wanted to help them, so he decided on a plan for all of them to get their wishes. Zack spoke confidently," Why don't we wish for all the people who died to be revived, but only after and if all universes are saved from the beast? Ensuring that the context of the stupid waterfall didn't apply. We could also entrust Beau after becoming king to wish to separate our worlds so the balance of the world isn't corrupter then everyone would be happy and no universe has to fade". Blake believed that Zack's naive nature was very obvious, and it reminded him of his past self. John believed in Zack's words and promised that if they became king, they would grant these wishes. Sara started to believe that Zack was on to something, so she agreed to Zack's proposal, but the demi-beast inside Sara remained indifferent, thinking that Zack might try to trick them even if he appeared sincere on the surface. She didn't know Zack well enough to trust him, but John felt as if he had known Zack for a long time because Zack was a replica of Zeta. John trusted that Zeta never lied, so Zack wouldn't lie as well.
John offered to escort Zack back to his room to ensure he returned safely. They made a vow to help each other, but they couldn't show that they were helping because they might be targeted by the other universes. Because of John's invisibility, they could return undetected.
John used his ability on Zack, and they were both invisible. They arrived inside Zack's room. By that time, it was day, and Beau was able to speak to Zack again. There was something wrong because the room's lights were destroyed. John could sense all the candidates' abilities in the room.
