Chapter 1: A New Dawn

Venator-Class Star Destroyer, En Route to Christophsis

A breath. Deep, controlled. Power thrummed through my body like a star about to go supernova.

I opened my eyes.

Memories hit me like a tidal wave. I was Anakin Skywalker. Jedi Knight. The Chosen One. But I was also someone else.

I remembered another life. One where Star Wars was fiction, where Anakin was destined to fall, where the galaxy crumbled beneath Palpatine's iron fist. I remembered sitting in a theater, watching Revenge of the Sith, cursing at Anakin's choices—his blind devotion, his arrogance, his failures.

Now? Now I am him.

But I wasn't just this Anakin.

I could feel the changes in my body—my physique flawless, muscles coiled like a predator ready to strike. My mind was razor-sharp, calculating probabilities faster than a supercomputer. The Force sang to me like an old friend, bending to my will with ease.

The Essence of the Warrior. The Essence of Perfection.

I exhaled slowly, controlling my power, feeling the sheer dominance radiating from my very being. Every part of me was built for battle, for victory, for mastery.

And then it hit me—Christophsis.

The battle was about to begin. The Republic fleet was on its way to reinforce Obi-Wan against the Separatists. And soon, Ahsoka Tano would be introduced as my Padawan.

The timeline was set, but I? I was the variable that would change everything.

The Battle Begins

The ship rumbled as we dropped out of hyperspace. I stepped forward onto the bridge of my Venator, where Captain Rex and Admiral Yularen stood at attention.

"Generals Kenobi and Cody are under siege," Yularen reported. "Enemy blockade is holding firm."

I nodded, mind working at hyperspeed. Normally, Anakin would have rushed in, recklessly trying to break the blockade. Not me.

I closed my eyes, letting the Mind's Eye from my Warrior's Essence activate. The flow of battle unfolded in my mind like a holo-display—weak points in the blockade, enemy movements, their reaction times.

I smirked. Child's play.

"Rex, prepare for a full-frontal assault," I ordered. "But it's a feint. The moment they react, we'll slip through the left flank where their response time is weakest."

Rex blinked. "Sir?"

I turned, giving him a confident grin. "Trust me."

"Always."

With a single command, the 501st Legion prepared for battle. The fleet surged forward, turbolasers firing, engaging the enemy head-on. Just as I predicted, the Separatists shifted their forces—but too late.

"Now!" I barked.

The fleet adjusted, slipping through their weakened flank with surgical precision. Christophsis loomed below.

"Deploy the LAATs. We're going in."

Ground Assault

The air was thick with the scent of war—blaster fire, burning metal, the cries of soldiers. I landed first, dropping into battle like a force of nature.

Droids surged toward me, but I was already moving.

The Essence of the Warrior made time slow around me. My blade ignited, a brilliant blue streaking through the battlefield. I wasn't just fighting. I was dancing.

Every strike was flawless, every movement perfect.

A droid aimed at me from behind—before it could fire, I twisted and bisected it without even looking. My Mind's Eye saw every attack before it happened.

Clone troopers gawked. Even Obi-Wan, engaged in combat nearby, stole a glance.

"Anakin?" he muttered, blocking a shot. "Since when were you this good?"

I laughed, slicing through another wave of droids with ease.

"Just feeling inspired, Master."

Enter Ahsoka Tano

Just as we started pushing forward, a Gunship landed behind me.

The doors hissed open, revealing a small, orange-skinned Togruta girl in a Padawan outfit.

Ahsoka Tano.

She hopped out, walking confidently toward me. "Master Skywalker?"

I turned, meeting her gaze. She was young—brash, eager. But she would become so much more.

"Yeah?" I said, crossing my arms.

She smirked. "I'm your new Padawan!"

I studied her for a moment, allowing silence to stretch just long enough to make her nervous. Then, I grinned.

"Welcome to the war, Snips."

She blinked. "Snips?"

"You'll get used to it."

The battle raged on. And yet, deep inside, I knew—this was just the beginning.

The galaxy had no idea what was coming.
