Chapter 26 - CHAPTER 26

Many people may think that there is no gravity in the universe, but is there really none? Rin remembered that in his previous life, humans hadn't even completed reliable interstellar travel, much less explored the far reaches of space naturally, they couldn't confirm whether gravity existed everywhere in the universe.

No one truly knows how vast the universe is.

Whether there is gravity or not is unknown.

But Rin feels that there is gravity in the universe because he can indeed use it now.

No, it's a bit premature to call it gravity perhaps, more accurately, it's an affinity or sensitivity to gravitational force.

Closing his eyes slightly.

Rin's mind moved and in that instant, his entire body seemed to become weightless, like a feather drifting in the breeze. He felt himself floating slowly upward, as if space itself had loosened its grip on him.

"This should be gravity, right?!" Rin whispered inwardly, the sensation was like walking in the sky similar to the way Admiral Fujitora of the Marines manipulated gravity, or how the legendary Golden Lion Shiki levitated massive ships.

But Rin could tell his ability was still in its infancy.

He could sense gravity but wielding it was far more difficult.

In other words, Rin was able to feel gravity within himself due to the abilities of the Cosmic Devil Fruit, which he had only begun to comprehend. But he couldn't yet manipulate that gravitational force at will. The force was there but it was faint, and slippery, like smoke in the wind.

"Even if it can't be used now, there will definitely be a chance in the future." Rin reassured himself. Since he could already sense the force even if faintly it only meant the trigger or catalyst hadn't yet been reached. Once that moment came, control would follow naturally.

He continued experimenting with this new ability.

Focusing inward, he gently manipulated his own body, causing himself to rise and fall. Floating was still crude but it was there.

"I wonder if this ability can make external objects float, like Shiki's Fuwa Fuwa no Mi?" Rin wondered, eyes narrowing.

Driven by curiosity, Rin reached out and placed his hand on the wooden deck.

His mind shifted—he visualized the entire ship rising into the sky.

But in the very next moment

His face twisted.

His limbs collapsed.

His body slumped.

"I lean—what just happened?!" Rin gasped. "I only tried to make the ship float—and all my strength vanished in an instant!"

Drained.

Collapsed.

Paralyzed.

The sudden force depletion was alarming. Rin couldn't move a muscle. He lay flat on the deck, panting heavily. It seemed his body wasn't yet prepared for such a massive energy output.

"I have no choice… I need to let my physical strength recover naturally."

While waiting, Rin summoned the voice of the system in his heart. "System."

'What's the host's request?'

"Check my current pack count!" Rin mentally called.

'Ding! Currently the host possesses: Daily Pack ×2, Weekly Pack ×1.'

"Huh. A weekly pack?" Rin blinked in surprise. "So I've been in this world almost a full month already?"

That meant only two more days until he could unlock his first Monthly Pack.

Rin's lips curled up slightly in anticipation. He was very much looking forward to it.

Shaking his head, Rin cast aside the thought and gave the next command: "Open all packs."

'Ding! Opening Daily Pack ×2'

'Ding-dong! Congratulations to host for obtaining: 100,000 Berries!'

'Ding-dong! Congratulations to host for obtaining skill: Shadow Clone Technique!'

'Ding! Opening Weekly Pack '

'Ding-dong! Congratulations to host for obtaining: Forging Body Spirit Liquid ×10 bottles!'

One after another, system prompts echoed within his mind.

Upon hearing the rewards, Rin's expression brightened.

"Shadow Clone Technique? Isn't that from Naruto? How is that even usable here? I don't have chakra…" Rin murmured, brows furrowing.

But just as he spoke, a surge of foreign information flooded into his brain—it was data about the Shadow Clone.

Moments later, Rin's eyes widened in realization.

This version of the Shadow Clone had been modified—it didn't require chakra, but rather relied on mental strength. Anyone with sufficient focus and spirit could use it. However, it required precise hand signs to activate.

Though Rin was physically exhausted, his mental energy remained high.

Immediately, Rin raised his hands and formed the seals based on the newly acquired memory.

With a poof of white smoke—another Rin materialized on the deck.

"Hello, original," said the clone, grinning as it looked at Rin, still sprawled on the ground.

Rin nodded weakly. He immediately remembered—every experience a Shadow Clone undergoes returns to the original once the clone disperses. That meant this could be used to train efficiently.

"Start exercising," Rin ordered.

"Yes, original!" the clone chirped, and immediately began doing push-ups, squats, and other training moves on the deck.

"This should work," Rin thought to himself, watching the clone move.

If the experience could truly return to him, this would be an incredible asset. However, there was a catch—this modified Shadow Clone could only create one clone at a time, as the mental toll was immense.

Shaking off the fatigue, Rin turned his attention to the next item—the Forging Body Spirit Liquid.

> [Forging Body Spirit Liquid: A medicinal solution that strengthens the user's physique. Soak once per day. Use 1/10 of a bottle each time.]

"This stuff looks great—it boosts physical stats." Rin's eyes lit up.

This alone was a windfall.

Ten bottles.

One-tenth per use.

That meant one hundred full-body treatments.

Without hesitation, Rin pulled out three bottles and stored them in his spatial ring—he planned to give those to Gu Yina when they met again.

The remaining seven bottles would be shared between him, Casa, and Artoria.

Before long, two hours had passed.

By now, Rin had recovered enough strength and sat up. As he did, Casa stepped out of his room—only to stop dead in his tracks.

When he saw two identical Rins on the deck, his eyes bulged.
