As Becky led me through the confusing hallways, I couldn't help but feel so uneasy. It would have been so much better if Zeeland had just given me an explanation when I asked him back inside the room.
At least I'd know why I was dressed in a beautiful ball gown with my hair down and make-up on my face. I exhaled sharply and increased my pace as the heel I wore had begun to show signs of impending disgrace.
"We are here." Becky said with a smile. I looked at the brown door before me down to the two partially scary looking guards standing on each side of the door.
When I didn't make a move she pointed at the door and nodded slightly towards it. "I should go in?"
She nodded. "Everyone must have arrived." She mumbled. "You should go in already."
"Aren't you coming in too?" I questioned.
"I will but not yet. I have some work to finish up and besides, this is a grand celebration my princess. A maid like me can't attend."
