"They're here" the vice captain alerted Ambrose.
"I know… I can sense them," he said, climbing off his horse.
Deep in the forest, they sensed a great aura coming towards them.
"Let's kill them before the others sense the aura," Ambrose proposed, as he shot up like a shooting star, assigning another Person to take charge of the battle, she quickly ran after the captain.
They both landed deep into the forest, waiting patiently for the aura they had sensed to arrive.
The vice captain quickly unsheathed her sword as two humanoid figures on horseback slowly walked out of the darkness.
"Take a deep breath. I won't let you die," the captain motivated her, noticing she was slightly shaking.
With assurance, she tried to imitate the captain's cool face, which was still hidden under the mask.
The demons quickly stopped their horses on seeing the captain and vice captain, slowly, a smile crept to their faces.
"We got them," one of them said, smiling.
Just then the captain felt his heart drop to his stomach, he felt something he had never felt before, and it was heading towards the soldiers who were assigned to him.
"Don't ignore us" one of the demons said, as he appeared in front of the captain, his finger aiming for the captain's head.
At the last second, the captain turned, grabbing the demon's hand. He tore it off, separating it from his body, at the same time delivering a kick to its stomach, sending him flying.
The demon still wore the annoying smile on his face, still in midair another arm instantly popped out.
Landing on a tree, he bounced back at the captain.
The second demon coming down from his horse ran towards the captain as well, his finger greasing the ground as he went.
"Step back a little" the captain directed his vice, as he removed his white mask, allowing it to vanish in midair, his green eyes glistening.
The vice captain was tempted to assist the captain as she saw the two demons charging towards him, but he looked so calm.
Stamping his left foot to ground, the earth beneath the demon that charged at him moved backward, escorting the demon with it. Turning back to the demon that was still in midair, he used the arm that he had separated from the demon to slam him to the ground, sending a massive shock wave through the forest. Not giving him any breathing space, he kicked the demon again, sending him upward.
Turning back to the demon that was still trying to find his way across the backward moving earth. Ambrose stamped his feet to the ground and the earth beneath the demon moved forward, the demon quickly tried to move backward, but Ambrose pulled him by his neck, punching him upward.
"Go back to the others quickly, don't fight, just create a portal and save those you can, then leave this place." the captain ordered.
"Mana magic" he said, moving his hand in midair. Four black elongated Sharp objects materialized, and with a single swipe of his hand they shot towards the demons who were still in midair.
The second demon was caught in surprise, as two of the mana blades pierced into his stomach. Seeing the mana blade, the first demon quickly twisted himself in midair, trying or evade the attacks. After all his attempts, he was only able to evade one of the blades as the other had pierced into his stomach.
But his eyes widened in surprise as he saw the black mana blade he had evaded stuck to the ground, his gaze quickly slid to the edge of his vision, where it locked with a ranging deep green eyes.
A loud bang exploded throughout the forest as he used the demon's hand to slam him back to the ground. Turning back at the second demon, who was still covered in pain, he shot at him another black mana blade. The force propelled him, pinning him to a tree.

Peter was already getting used to the fight. moving as fast as he could with the armor he wore, he ran towards the demons, slicing their heads off.
"Thirty, thirty-one" he counted as his blade went through the demon's neck, cutting it off with a clean slice.
From the distance, he could see James, his blade moving from one demon to another, his attack precise and perfect.
Ahhhhhh!," James shouted, as he sliced off the head of the last demon standing.
Peter felt a certain feeling of joy arose in him, although they had lost some of their comrade, but he was happy they had won the battle and there death would not be in vain.
"Twenty points for killing the last demon brother," he said, smiling, as he walked towards Peter, his face covered in blood.
"I killed fifty," Peter said proudly.
"Out of three thousand, you killed fifty. That's quite low," James commented mockfully, laughing. "I killed…"
He couldn't complete his statement as only his headless body stood, blood gushing out of his neck like a fountain. Slowly, his head rolled over to Peter's feet, the smile still on his face.
Peter stared at the lifeless head blankly. His brain orienting itself to what had transpired, looking up he saw Jame's lifeless body fall to the ground, blood still gushing out from his neck.
His eyes slowly got clouded with tears, then he felt a sudden air wave smash into his face, his eyes interlocking with a pair of blood-red eyes.
Peter felt the world turning around, until he saw his headless body standing still, blood gushing out like a fountain, and that was the last thing he saw as everything went black.

'What happened here?' the vice captain asked herself, her eyes widened in surprise.
The ground was littered with the dead bodies of soldiers, killed in the most brutal ways, the smell of blood filled the air. Then she felt it again, an aura that choked the very life out of her, her breath got heavy, her heart threatening to beat out of her ribs, she turned around trying to locate the source of power.
Then, out of the dark, loomed a pair of blood-red eyes staring at her. Instinctively, she turned around, attempting to open a portal to escape, but her body suddenly felt heavy, as though she couldn't carry it.
"What's happening to me," she asked herself, her vision becoming blurry as she staggered, trying to get to the portal she had created. Slowly she felt something wet, her armor getting soaked. Looking down, she saw a big hole in her chest, spitting out a mouth full of blood, she fell into the portal dead.

Ambrose fell on his knees, his face covered in blood.
"I SEE YOU KILLED THE TWO OF THEM."
A cold voice said, forcing Ambrose to stand on his feet again, alerted, he turned around trying to trace the voice.
Then he felt it again, a dark, oppressive, suffocating, bone chilling aura that choked his very soul. Igniting a primal instinct, screaming to flee before he is consumed.
"Mana magic. Full-body armor" Ambrose said, activation the highest skill he could think of, even though he hadn't seen his opponent.
A massive shock wave exploded through the arena, sending trees off their roots, as a gigantic mana surged out of Ambrose, dividing the cloud as it went. Slowly the mana compressed, forming a gigantic knight, whose head brushed the cloud. It had four hands, well-equipped with a shield and three glowing back long swords.
"Arhhhhhhhh!," it shouted as it fully materialized, uprooting more trees.
"USELESS," the cold voice said.
Ambrose turned his head instinctively and so did the knight he stayed in its stomach.
Out of the forest blackened depth, a pair of red blood eyes pierced the gloom, burning with malice, watching him with an unblinking predatory gaze, filled with a silent promise of death and terror
