As the Hogwarts Express continued its journey toward the legendary school of magic, the door to Harry's compartment slid open. A bushy-haired girl stood in the doorway, her brown eyes scanning the compartment eagerly. Neville Longbottom stood beside her, looking relieved.
"Have you seen a toad? Neville's lost one," the girl asked, her voice carrying a tone of both authority and urgency.
Harry, recognizing her from the wand shop, gave a small smile. "Hello again, Hermione. And yes, I can find it for you."
Hermione's eyes widened. "You remember my name?"
Harry smiled "of course, I still remember how shocked your expression was when I showed you magic "
Hermione "hey!!...I wasn't shocked I as just curious "
Harry" ok ok, what was name of toad? Maybe I can help"
Neville who was behind Hermione"T..Trevor, my grandma gave it to me"
Harry nodded before raising his wand slightly and focusing his magic. A faint golden aura shimmered around his fingers as he softly spoke, "Accio Trevor."
A startled croak echoed through the corridor before a small, slimy toad came soaring through the air, landing gently in Harry's hands. Neville gasped in relief, quickly scooping up his pet.
Hermione, however, was left gaping at Harry. "That was a Summoning Charm! But—but that's a Third-Year spell!"
Harry simply shrugged. "It wasn't that hard."
She frowned at him, clearly not satisfied with such a vague answer. "How did you do it? Can you teach me?"
Neville, too, looked intrigued, though his main concern was still Trevor.
Harry hesitated for a moment, carefully choosing his words. "Maybe later, when we know more about magic in general. Right now, we haven't even started our first class."
Hermione's expression showed a mix of excitement and frustration, but she nodded. "That makes sense. I suppose I should read ahead and prepare!"
Harry smiled at her enthusiasm, while Neville simply looked grateful for having his toad back. Then, Hermione surprised him by asking, "Why don't you join us in our compartment? There's plenty of room."
Harry considered it for a moment before nodding. It would be good to have intelligent company, and he was already interested in seeing how Hermione approached learning magic.
With that, the three of them left the compartment together, heading toward their new friendships and the adventures that awaited them at Hogwarts.
