Chapter 10 - Chapter 10: Looting timelines I.

Inside Voldemort's mind, a vision unfolded:

He was standing over a world already conquered.

Wizards paid him homage, enslaved Muggles knelt before his greatness.

The walls of Hogwarts bore his mark, the Ministry of Magic was his.

He had won.

For the first time in his existence, Voldemort felt the euphoria of absolute victory.

And as he sank deeper into the illusion, his memories began to surface.

One by one, from his childhood in the orphanage to his rise as Lord Voldemort.

The horrors he committed, the dark secrets he uncovered, every forbidden spell, every fragment of knowledge that made him the most feared wizard of all time.

And Noah absorbed it all.

Voldemort's memories flowed like a torrent through an invisible link, embedding themselves into Noah's mind.

But he didn't accept them all at once.

Within him, the memories were trapped inside a mental seal, where they would slowly be digested and understood.

When the flow of information stopped, Noah clenched his fist and the seal on the ground vanished.

Voldemort's shadow stopped twisting.

"Now, I possess the knowledge of one of the greatest dark wizards in history."

Despite his achievement, Noah didn't let it go to his head.

Voldemort's soul was already quite weak due to the backlash he suffered when trying to attack Harry.

If it had been Voldemort at his prime, with a mind full of mental protection spells, Noah's jutsu wouldn't have worked.

Coming out of his trance, Noah turned his attention to Voldemort's soul, still dazed, deciding what to do with him.

"Whatever. It's not like he knows who's behind the mask, and having him around to cause Dumbledore trouble is beneficial to me."

Noah returned to his room in the Ravenclaw tower without anyone noticing his absence.

He closed the door and sat on the bed, closing his eyes.

Inside his mind, the seal containing Voldemort's memories pulsed with a dark red glow.

"I can't open it all at once. If I do, my mind will drown in his madness."

In his current state, his soul couldn't process all the information at once.

He needed to digest it bit by bit.

So he began separating useful information from useless memories, such as Tom Riddle's personal life and experiences.

Those memories could contaminate his mind, as the emotions and experiences they contained weren't his.

Once he removed everything that didn't interest him, he began to absorb memory fragments.

First came the academic ones.

Advanced magic, combat spells, and protective enchantments.

Then, knowledge about Dark Magic.

Forbidden arts only dark wizards dared to study, blood and sacrifice rituals, and methods to fragment the soul.

For hours, Noah dedicated himself to digesting these memories and barely managed to process 5% of them.

As he filtered the information, Noah felt his understanding of magic expand beyond any book in the library.

"Voldemort was a genius… but too arrogant. If I use his knowledge cautiously, I can go even further."

As the sun began to rise over the horizon, Noah opened his eyes.

The school year ended with the traditional ceremony in the Great Hall.

Gryffindor won the House Cup (thanks to the extra points Dumbledore gave to Harry and his friends).

Noah remained silent among the Ravenclaw students, watching Dumbledore closely.

The headmaster knew more than he let on.

Though he never mentioned it directly, his blue eyes occasionally scrutinized Noah, as if trying to figure something out.

When the ceremony ended and students began preparing to return home, a small folded parchment mysteriously appeared in his pocket.

"Please come to my office before you depart. A.D."

Noah smiled calmly.

"So, he finally wants to talk to me."

Hours later, Noah found himself in Dumbledore's office, seated across from the old headmaster.

Fawkes, the phoenix, watched from his perch as Dumbledore served two cups of tea.

"Theodore," Dumbledore began kindly, "I've noticed you're an exceptionally… perceptive young man."

Noah took his cup and feigned confusion.

"What do you mean, Headmaster?"

Dumbledore smiled faintly.

"Let's just say, on more than one occasion, you've been in the right place at the right time… even though no one else saw you."

Noah kept his expression neutral.

"So he's noticed my movements… but doesn't know exactly what I did," Noah thought to himself.

"I'm just a curious student," he replied naturally.

"Hogwarts has too many mysteries not to explore them."

Dumbledore looked at him with interest before sipping his tea.

"I'm glad to hear that. True seekers of knowledge always find answers… though some questions are dangerous."

A veiled warning.

Dumbledore didn't fully trust him, but he also had no evidence against him.

It was a game of intellect and patience.

Noah smiled politely.

"I'll keep that in mind, Professor."

Dumbledore nodded.

"Then enjoy your holidays, Theodore. I'm sure next year will be… even more interesting."

Noah stood up and bid farewell with a slight nod.

When he left the office, his smile faded.

"That old fox…"

Packing his things, Noah left Hogwarts by train before using the magic door to return to his secret lab, where he spent the following month.

The seal in his mind was like a locked library. Each day, Noah released a fragment of memories and studied them calmly.

Voldemort's magic was impressive.

From advanced mastery of Legilimency to the deadliest curses, Noah absorbed the knowledge with the patience of a scholar.

When he finally absorbed all of Voldemort's useful memories, Noah left a vial of his blood in the lab and opened a spatial vortex back to the world of Naruto.

By now, the Second Shinobi World War had fully erupted, and more than a year had passed since Noah's supposed death.

Inside a hidden cave, Noah pulled a desk drawer out of his 4D pocket and, with a simple jump, got inside and activated the time machine.

He knew what he wanted to do, and he had thought a lot about it.

Since obtaining the time machine, his plans for the Shinobi world had changed.

The idea of altering the timeline tempted him, but it also made him hesitate.

He didn't want to risk changing something that could destroy his future gains.

After thinking it through, he came up with a simpler way to do it.

Instead of directly interfering with the timeline and risking changes he didn't want, he decided to take a more straightforward approach: move from the future to the past. That way, it wouldn't matter if he altered something in the future, since the past would remain unchanged.

He adjusted the machine's controls and activated the sequence.

Noah stepped out of the time machine and observed the peaceful future Konoha. The village was enjoying one of those rare times of peace where children ran around carefree. Among them was his target: Boruto Uzumaki, still young and inexperienced.

He found him alone, training near the practice fields. The Jōgan activated from time to time, though Boruto still didn't fully understand its power. Noah didn't waste any time. In an instant, he used a genjutsu to immobilize him.

"Don't worry, you won't die from this," he said softly as he reached for the glowing eye.

With a quick and precise procedure, he tore the Jōgan from its socket. Boruto screamed, but Noah had already finished. He applied a basic healing jutsu to prevent him from bleeding out, then disappeared in a flash of blue light, taking his new treasure with him.

A couple of days later, Noah arrived at the Hidden Sand Village under the cover of night. He didn't need to hide much; his skills allowed him to move undetected. With a combination of Doton to travel underground and Mokuton to create natural camouflage, he made his way easily to his target: Shinki, Gaara's adoptive son.

The young boy was asleep in his quarters, his breathing calm. Noah watched him for a moment—the heir of the Magnet Release—then proceeded with his task, extracting a vial of blood while using a calming spell so the child wouldn't wake from the prick.

Returning to his hideout through the magic door, he set new coordinates.

He stepped out of the time machine just outside Konoha, in the dead of night.

This was the time of the events from The Last movie.

Toneri had already kidnapped Hanabi at this point.

Noah had no means to travel directly to the Moon, so he decided to discreetly follow Naruto's rescue team.

He moved in the shadows, watching the group advance through the desert until they reached the ancient spring that served as a portal to the Moon. He made sure to stay hidden as they all submerged in the water and vanished. Once the last of them crossed, Noah followed silently.

The journey to the Moon was brief but strange, and soon he emerged in Toneri's castle, staying hidden while Naruto and the others faced the Ōtsutsuki.

When Naruto finally defeated Toneri, Noah waited for the team to leave with Hinata before making his move.

He approached the weakened Toneri, who could barely move after the battle.

Hinata had ripped out his eyes before departing, since they originally belonged to her sister, Hanabi.

Without wasting time, Noah extracted multiple blood and tissue samples with a syringe. He didn't care if the Ōtsutsuki noticed; Toneri was far too weak to resist.

With the material secured, Noah used his Magic Door to return to Earth before Naruto and the others.

He waited until the group had returned before sneaking into the Hyūga clan's residence.

He found Hanabi asleep, her eyes already reimplanted in their sockets.

He took genetic samples from her without waking her.

Having obtained what he needed from this timeline, Noah traveled even further back in time.
