JADE POV...
I got to school early surprisingly, I actually thought I was going to be late. I guess that was just me worrying over nothing.
I walked on campus while enjoying the cool breeze. I guess it's just my way of relaxing a bit. I got to class, then I noticed the way everyone was looking at me differently, some waving at me, some smiling and some even being extra friendly. I guess it's good but its kind of tiring.
" Good morning"; I turned to see a handsome tall boy with black hair and deep blue eyes approaching me.
I didn't want to be rude as a first impression on someone so I had to respond; " Good morning", I smiled.
" Am Sam by the way, you're probably wondering why everyone is being extra friendly today.". I nodded.
He smiled and brought out his phone and showed me a photo on the students school page; it was a photo showing Sophie bowing to me and apologizing, they were also videos too." You're famous now",
My face hinted a slight shade of red and I closed my eyes coughed inwardly a little.
" Well that wasn't my fault, she's the one who was accusing me."
Sam chuckled at her cute reaction and smiled;" Well if you need anything just ask me ok". I nodded and thanked him, he just smiled and walked away. He seems like a nice person.
I sat on my seat when Kayla walked in the class.
" Good morning sister", she said with a smile that was obviously fake.
" What do you want", I blankly asked her in a cold tone. " Don't be like that, can't your sister say hi to you, By the way How's life as someone's property". Kayla said with a grin. I answered calmly;" Not too bad, you should try it sometime.
Kayla looked annoyed for a moment but smiled again" Well sister me and Killian are engaged now, hope you aren't too sad?". I looked at her emotionless for a moment then I reached to my bag and brought out some ear plugs and put them on. Then I started reading a book. I didn't want to hear this girl anymore she was giving me a headache.
I saw the annoyed look on her face when she left. I took off the ear plugs and fell in deep thought. Killian was someone close to me. He would come with his dad on business to our estate. We became close when we were kids and played together.
I grew up knowing Killian as the only good thing in my life, he knew how my family treated me and always wanted to help but was powerless.
I was sent to boarding school at the age of twelve and never saw him again. I was abandoned in that school, it was a way for my family to get rid of me. Then one day, I was informed about a man who was looking for me and supposedly knew my mom.
I thought it was just something that was set up . But I couldn't keep myself from meeting anyone who knew my mom. I walked up to a man who gave me a gentle smile after that day he took me in, he personally trained me i and I lived with him also with another disciple and that was Christina.
I met Christina there, she was a very nice person, though my skills, strength and abilities surpassed hers, she still treated me like a younger sister. I had never experienced what having a real sister was like but she showed it to me. I I'll be forever grateful.
Father summoned me back seven years later to sell me off to create business relations .Kayla would have married Nigel for the name, fame and power but only a few people in the big families know about Nigel's illness. So it wasn't made public. So I wasn't just married but sold off.
Now Killian is engaged to Kayla. Killian always told me he didn't want an arranged marriage and even if he did get married, he'd rather spend that time with me, I always laughed at this idea, because Killian was like an overprotective older brother to me.
I guess that his father's doing, but the reason isn't clear, his family is the second in the country, I don't know what could they possibly benefit from the arrangement.
I understand my father would benefit now he has relations with the top and second families but he can't benefit much from mine because my marriage wasn't made public but even the most little support from the El Carte's is very considerable.
In Kayla's case he would benefit openly, but the Salvadors won't benefit at all and they are not the type to do charity work.
I need to get these thoughts out of my head it's becoming tiring to think about. I continued reading my book when I heard someone sit next to me. I averted my gaze and saw it was Collin!.
Collin looked at me and said;" hope you don't mind me sitting here".
I looked at him for a moment and thought, Well Collin did help me yesterday and if it's just to relax a little then sure.
I replied;" sure". Collin blonde hair was tied leaving small long parts of his hair falling in front of his face, his blue eyes did look sleepy. He actually looked relaxed.
" By the way am sitting here for the rest of the semester". Collin said resting his head on the table. My attention immediately left my book;
" What!, for the rest of the semester,but why!". I asked obviously tensed, I wanted a very peaceful life in school, but when I got here it didn't really work out. I thought I could just avoid all the venomous snakes but now Collin is here!. Sophie obviously likes him and his sitting on my seat!. No, I won't allow that.
" Yes, and I already obtained permission from the teacher and we're rivals now, so I want to observe my rival to know what type of person you are", Collin said closing his eyes. I cried inwardly;" goodbye the peaceful life I never knew". Collin looked at me as if reading my thoughts, he opened his bag and held my hand out and drop a bunch of sweets and candies. I was confused and stunned. What the heck am I going to do with candy and why does he have so much in his bag!.
" It's payment for letting me sit here", Collin explained. I was stunned and speechless. I could only nodd and accept the candies, I don't think he really knows how to express himself, but couldn't help but take the jesture as cute.
At the corner of my eyes I suddenly noticed Sophie walking over; " Why the hell are you sitting with Collin", she said as she slammed my table, the noise woke Collin up, then I suddenly felt an arm around my neck pulling me. Collin pulled me close to me, rubbing his eyes he said; " Am the one who sat here and this is my seat as well". Sophie looked mad when she saw this gesture;" But why would you want to sit with someone like her, a cheater!"
" Well according to what happened last time, it's clear she didn't cheat or is this class not comfortable for you". Sophie looked stunned for a moment and then stormed out giving me a death glare.
Collin let go of me and said;" There's no need for you to worry about her". At least that's one good thing happening today. I thanked him, Collin just opened his bagpack and gave me more candies. I couldn't help but chuckle.
Lilly walked past my seat but she paid no attention to me which I was actually grateful for, but I felt something off about her.
The teacher walked in and started the class. Collin could hardly stay awake, I kept waking him up though which was kind of annoying and he kept eating snacks, but he is really neat. I can't help but wonder how he scored Three hundred and Ninety points, but when I looked at his notebook and saw how detailed it was and how his Calligraphy was outstanding, I then understood. He is a genius.
School flew by fast, I talked with Collin and Sam and saw they had nice personalities, even though Sam was distracted sometimes and Collins Snack obsession could be annoying sometimes, it was really nice to have company. At the end of the school day I said goodbye to Collin and Sam. When I get home I'll definitely give the young master an accupunture session, I need to continue his treatment plan so I can cure him ahead schedule. Then I realized I didn't eat this morning I felt hungry but I'll be home soon.
I walked down the campus and made my way to the entrance of the university, the cold wind blew but other than the pleasant feeling I'd usually get, I felt a cold chiil in my spine. I stood and waited for the car, then I had a feeling I was being watched I tried to ignore it but it still crawled at the back of my mind. I got distracted by a oncoming car but it wasn't mine.
" You really are pretty, how lucky am I ,I'll just make you mine". I felt an arm around my waist and someone's breath down my neck brushing my hair. The person put a handkerchief up to my nose. I reacted quickly and flipped the person and slammed him to the ground but I suddenly felt dizzy and everything was a blur.
Silva got up and winced because of the pain but immediately smiled at the unconcious Jade and picked her up and took her to his car and whispered;" I'll make you mine". Lilly recorded the scene and a sly smile played on her lips.
