POV: Female Lead ( Ha-neul)
"They took him."
Jin-ho's words echoed in her skull.
Min-jae was gone.
She felt the air leave her lungs.
No.
No, no, no.
Her hands gripped the seat. "Where?"
Jin-ho exhaled. "Do-hyun's private estate. He's keeping Min-jae there under heavy guard."
She closed her eyes.
This was her fault.
Min-jae was suffering because of her.
Jin-ho continued, his voice sharp. "We're planning a raid. We need time to—"
"No."
Jin-ho's gaze snapped to her. "What?"
She met his eyes. Steady. Unshaken.
"We don't have time. Every second Min-jae is there, he's in danger."
Jin-ho ran a hand through his hair. "I know. But we need a plan, Ha-neul."
Her heart pounded.
There was no time for plans.
Only action.
Her fingers tightened into fists.
"I'm going."
Jin-ho's eyes widened. "Absolutely not."
She ignored him.
She turned to the driver. "Take me there."
Jin-ho grabbed her arm. "Are you insane?"
She jerked free.
"I'm not waiting around while Do-hyun tortures him. Either you help me, or I'll go alone."
Silence.
Jin-ho cursed under his breath.
Then—
A slow smirk.
"You really are Min-jae's woman."
He exhaled.
"Fine. We do it your way."
He pulled out his phone.
"Get the team ready. We're moving now."

The Infiltration
The car skidded to a stop outside Do-hyun's estate.
A massive mansion, surrounded by armed guards.
Her heart thudded.
Jin-ho's men moved like shadows, taking out guards one by one.
Then—
The front gate was clear.
Jin-ho turned to her. "Stay behind me."
She pulled out a gun.
Jin-ho raised an eyebrow. "I see Min-jae's been training you."
She didn't answer.
Because right now?
Nothing mattered except getting Min-jae back.
They moved in.
Through the halls. Clearing rooms.
Then—
A scream.
Min-jae's voice.
Her blood ran cold.
She ran.
Past Jin-ho. Past the guards.
Into a darkened room—
And froze.
Min-jae was there.
Bloodied. Beaten. Tied to a chair.
And in front of him—
Do-hyun.
Holding a gun to his head.
