Chapter 35:Eyes That Burn, Hands That Strike.
Not only Zaiyila, but everyone present was stunned, and they all began to look at her with envy. In the next moment, the once silent room erupted into applause.
Zaiyila covered her mouth in surprise, and this time, she couldn't hold back her tears anymore. More tears streamed down her cheeks as she ran to Everett, hugging him tightly.
The moment was so sweet that people couldn't resist pulling out their phones and capturing it.
Everett wiped Zaiyila's tears and chuckled. Just then, a handsome young man arrived with a tray in hand. On the tray rested a mighty crown—though small in size, anyone who knew its origin would never underestimate its worth.
Everett calmly took the crown and placed it on Zaiyila's head, adjusting it to the center of her hair just as it appeared on the statue. Then he kissed her forehead again.
"Stop crying, my Queen. It makes me feel like I've done something wrong," Everett murmured.
