"W-what? Why did he suddenly kneel?"
Angel asked himself whilst looking at Francisco confused.
"What, why did Francisco kneel? He has never shown any reverence to anybody except for that man."
All of them whispered to each other.
"I apologize, it seems my legs gave out for a second."
Francisco slowly stood up.
"You lot deal with this on your own."
Francisco walked to the door and exited.
Angel watched as Francisco left the Council Chamber, his head turning back to the faces of the members.
"We will resume the trial."
Cassian Vance announced.
"If only we knew from whose bloodline has he inherited that power."
Vincent Thorne muttered to himself.
"These selfish people... I can already tell their schemes judging from their expressions alone."
"A boy who possesses the blood of a pureblood, anybody would want him for themselves."
Fred Corvus muttered to himself as he looked at the members beside him.
The tension grew as the council members of the vampire faction started formulating their judgement, hoping in getting their hands on the boy due to not having a backer.
All of their whispers and conversations can be clearly heard by Angel's heightened sense of hearing due to his power.
"Why is this always happening to me... what did I do wrong again...?"
Angel pondered to himself, hoping for someone he knew to intervene.
Soon after, the doors opened with a loud bang, as Malachi entered with a woman beside him.
All of the attention went to him along with the feeling of dread and fear visible on their expressions.
"M-Moriarty!?"
All of them were surprised by their appearance, not expecting them to join.
"It seems we were uninvited."
Malachi said, his crimson eyes gazing at the members above.
"Angel, stand up. Don't let people like them scare you."
Malachi told Angel telephatically.
Angel stood up with firm expression as he looked at the members.
"As all of you know, Angel Hughes possesses the pureblood bloodline."
"Us the Moriarty will serve as the bloodline backer of Angel Hughes, none of you will obtain the rights to his name!"
Malachi said with loud and authorative voice.
"Malachi! How dare a half-blood like you raise your voice. You don't have an ounce of authority in this council!"
Natalia Alistair retorted, Malachi gripping his cane as he looks at Natalia with a serious stare.
"Uncle, don't let them get under your skin."
The Anne Moriarty, the daughter of Cain Moriarty spoke behind him.
"Then, do you have the courage of speaking against me, Natalia Alistair?"
Anne smirked at Natalia's face of dread as she saw her.
"We greet the Blood Princess!"
All of them knelt in reverence and fear to Anne.
"As Angel is a vampire, it is only right that he is to be given to us, right? Cassian Vance?"
Anne grins.
"From now on, Angel will be a part of the Unitas Institution Academy under the Moriarty family bloodline."
"Therefore, any family that lays their hands on this boy will be seen as a declaration of war against us."
Malachi said with a serious voice, unlike his gentle caring character in Angel's memories.
"This trial is adjourned, the final decision has been made."
"Let's go Angel."
Malachi took Angel outside of the Council Chamber with Anne beside them.
Angel clenching his fist as he feels his powerlessness in the situation.
"There's no need to feel so down, sooner or later, those people will come to know your power."
"That is why, before that, you must get stronger Angel."
Malachi stated, his gentle voice comforting Angel.
"Anne, I'll take Angel home for now."
Malachi said.
"Go ahead, I'll return to my work."
As the three of them parted ways, Malachi drove Angel back to his house before afternoon came.
Angel's parents hurriedly took Angel in their arms as their worry faded away.
"Where did you go... Did not know how worried we were."
Angel's mother, Aiko hugged him.
"Mom, dad. I've already decided where I'm going for college."
Angel said with a firm voice.
"What?"
Marco said in surprise, as he sees him serious about his decision.
A week passed, as the welcoming ceremony for the Unitas Institution Academy came.
All new students of different bloodlines entered the auditorium, exuding an aura of nobility.
Soon after, all of their attentions were taken by the boy, who held the Moriarty crest, a symbol that represents the Moriarty family.
His pupils faintly glowing crimson color.
"Let's go."
