After their return to King Kai's planet, Bosa began his training once more. This time, he had other masters of the same techniques to aid him in his endeavors. King Kai watched, only acting on occasion when he felt like Bosa needed a guide. However, this would prove to be incredibly few times and far between.
This is incredible, it's only been a month, yet this boy has improved so much. He's mastered the basic principles of spirit control. Perhaps he'll be better than I thought?
Bosa continued training, his goal was to master the gigantification as well as its mirror ability in minification. "Woah, I'm as big as your planet, Master."
"Yes, yes you are. So how do you feel about it now?"
"It's fun. I'm so huge! Hmm, I still can't see the check-in-station from here though."
"Huh, is that your goal?"
"No, just an observation. It doesn't hurt to make observations as I practice."
"Oh, pfft, I see, well then. I'd like to say you mastered this ability but-"
"I don't think I have yet. This and the reverse ability are supposed to be reflective of each other. And I haven't shrunk down to the size of an atom yet. Which is a far greater magnification than what I am now."
He wants to improve the technique that much? That might take too much time, even for him. "That's quite the goal you have there, though, I think you should move on for now. Which means you should start learning Instant Transmission."
Bosa sighed, causing the planet to spin rapidly. King Kai was sent flying, but he managed to hold onto the lone tree until the spin stopped. Bubbles and Greggory stumbled out of the house, their eyes a squiggle.
Bosa appeared next to King Kai, checking up on him. "Sorry about that Master, I didn't realize it would be that crazy. I'll stop practicing the technique for now."
Having been helped to his feet, King Kai dusted himself off. This kid, he didn't run over, yet already managed to pull off the teleport. I wonder if it was just luck this time. "Thanks, now, how did you manage to reach me so quickly?"
"Huh? Oh, I shrunk myself down so I'd end up closer to you. Do you want to see me do it again? It's kind of fun."
Bosa didn't wait for an answer, it was something fun to do. So he showed off a little bit, shrinking down, then growing giant, and shrinking again. He did this to make a whole lap around the planet, laughing the whole time.
King Kai, seeing this couldn't help but let out a chuckle. That is funny. This kid is a walking comedy act. "That's quite something. In fact, I'd suggest you move on to the new techniques now. Even if you haven't reached the level you wanted in this yet, you have still managed to reach a level I'd call mastery."
Bosa, still in his childish laughter, turned and flew over all excited. "You really think so, master?! Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Next up is… hmm, I think it's clones. Once I can master that, instant transmission is just a single step away."
"What? Why not just do instant transmission?"
"Well, if there are skills to be learned, I want to learn them all! They all sound like fun to use."
"In what way?"
"Could you imagine a game of tag with the clones, and teleporting! Oh boy, oh boy, hehehe, adding the minification ability on top of it, I'll never lose a game of tag again!"
King Kai clasped his mouth, holding in his laughter. "That's quite the childish goal."
"Of course, I am a child?"
King Kai snorted and laughed. "Oh hohoho, you're a riot!"
With Bosa beginning his new training on cloning himself. The results simply spoke for themselves. At first when he made clones of himself, they were all over the place, weak and energetic, then strong and lethargic, it took a perfect balance of one's spirit to make a proper clone. He had experience witnessing the multiform technique but in the grand scheme of things, that was barely a step into this new technique. By the time Bosa mastered the cloning, he rolled right into learning instant transmission, a skill that well…
Bosa, making teleports all around King Kai's planet, chuckled to himself. "Just like I thought, This skill is way easier to learn now." And then he accidentally teleported to the check-in-station. "Huh? Oh, this is the station place thingy, right?"
King Yemma was shocked at the sudden appearance of Bosa. Though it was a rather interesting time. As King Kai had followed after Bosa, and King Yemma was currently wondering how he was going to ask for assistance.
"If it isn't young Bosa, welcome. I see your training has already done you some good."
Bosa giggled. "Thank you, it's been sooo much FUN! I did…" He went on a long explanation of his training with beady and excited eyes.
King Yemma laughed, tapping his desk a couple of times. "You're a good kid." He turned his focus to King Kai. "King Kai, sir, would you be able to help me out? There's been an unruly man causing some trouble for the Oni, down there in hell. I was about to send a request to get a warrior from Grand Kai's planet-"
King Kai, using his antenna, looked into the situation, he gave a sour look and then thought about it for a moment. This is probably the best time to do this. I've been waiting for the perfect time to give him a final test before giving him these earrings. "I'll let Bosa take care of it. He could use some good training like this."
Bosa was a little confused. "Master? What's going on down there? Is it that bad guy again?"
King Kai, a little surprised, chuckled. "So you already know them, well. Yes, it is that guy Raditz, it seems he's been beating up on the Oni. It should prove to be excellent training for you. Go down there, teach him a lesson, help the Oni to lock him up, and then you can explore the region for a bit." King Kai put one of the earrings on Bosa. "This will give you the recognition to travel between the regions. Once you've returned to my planet, you'll get the other one. And officially become a kai in training."
