When I open my eyes, I'm on my hands and knees, panting and gasping for air.
I look up, and Ishla is back where she previously was, sitting on her coiled tail and watching me.
"Do you remember now?" She questions, and I glare at her.
"What… was that??"
Why did it feel so… real?
"What do you think it was?" she replies while looking at her fingers, and I struggle to pull myself back to my feet.
"Don't tell me you've gotten so used to playing human that you've lost touch with who you are. Have you no connection with home?" She speaks again, and I've had enough.
"Whatever nonsense you just did to my mind, don't try it again!" I rage, and she scoffs before slithering towards me, and I hold my breath in fear as she gets close to me.
"Dear sister, I don't have the power over minds. Even if I did, a fallen God can no longer have that power over a reigning god." She says, as she begins to curl around me, and now I'm certain she's insane.
