Loud sonorous horse neighs, akin to thunderclaps resounded as those below, saw an extremely luxurious majestic carriage, one never seen before, descending from amidst the clouds.
The officials fell prostate in homage, while the horses of the demonic entourage neighed in response and knelt their front hind legs in submission, the demonic forces also bending in respect.
The carriage landed on the ground, then an armoured maid proceed from within.
The three front demon commanders proceeded forward approaching the armoured maid.
The maid Ai unexpressionlessly unfurled a scroll.
Thick demonic might belowed from the scroll diffusing a thick battle and desolation intent oppressing all those gazing at the scroll, one of kingly might.
The scroll didn't seek to suppress, rather decree, but when kings or queens talk, does power not follow.
A clear feminine emanated from the decree.
" By virtue of the the Min Demon Sword Queen let the forces of the demon realm recognize, by the laws of the desolate demon realm, this land is bequeathed to Royal descendant Ogunrinde for possession "
Mao Lin couldn't resist lifting his head, hoping to possibly catch a glance at the master, hoping to discern something, anything.
Possession, that meant ownership.
It entailed something.
If the previous demon Masters were supervisors , temporary Masters, then the new Master was a true Master in all sense, eternally fixed by the power of the decree and the desolate battle demon realm.
Lowering his head to avoid displeasing this new master by impudence, Mao Lin trembled as emotions swept him.
To be honest, since birth for as long everyone could remember, they had been used wicked masters.
But temporary brought hope for change.
At least even the most wicked previous masters had to leave on day.
A Royal descendant, a most true high blood demon, one only had to contemplate the concertrated demon laws of battle and desolation in his bloodline to have conjection of his temperament.
As if in unison of thought, the officials prostrated collectively trembled.
Extreme fear and nervousness.
The demonic entourage had more composed reactions to the order.
Shouting in unison, " We obey the decree! "
....
In a Palace, Ogunrinde sat by a window balcony reading a book drinking from a cup.
From this angle and height he had an overhead view of a wide area of the Palace and parts of the capital of the central mainlands.
Since he had descended to the lower realm a week had passed, he had not taken any court session neither had he visited any where.
Just meals, reading and sight seeing from this balcony.
This Palace was a far cry from his abode in the upper skies.
Ogunrinde let a sigh, then he chuckled but he was free, his heart felt unstiffled, the wildlessnes of soul unbounded.
Dark olive colored skin, contrasting wild and delicate handsome features, grey pupils signature to the Desolate battle demon royal lineage with long flowing hair seeming not groomed yet strangely not rough.
Reclining on the chair for a bit, he stood up.
It was time to directly see his vassals and domain.
....
In front of a large double door, a maid exited, this was one of the maids that descended with Ogunrinde, unlike before donning am armour, now she was clothed in black robe.
Upon exiting, she met at a distance on the hallway by her sister maid.
" Sister Ai, what did his highness say "
Ai and Ae were Ogunrinde battle maids, sisters in comrade but also true sisters.
From his birth, they had been giving to him in eternal servitude.
But of course by virtue of his status, they were far esteemed beyond ordinary slaves.
Ai replied to her sister , " He called a court session"
Ae didn't think there was anything at that, then why did Ai see a strange look of contemplation on her sister.
She only saw this look on her sister when the master gave an order she couldn't understand.
Replying, " what's then the issue "
Ai replied , " Nothing actually, he just called for the officials to attend too "
Alright, Ae could understand her sister's confusion, usually a court session by a Lord should only involve his demonic entourage.
But unlike her sister, Ae didn't always try to think of their master's actions, Ogunrinde was mysterious, one couldn't always read him.
One could even look at the sour relationship between the master and his mother to understand.
She loved her son but could never understand him.
To be honest Ae felt the reason for all the issues between Ogunrinde and his mother was just misunderstanding.
Series and series of misunderstanding.
" Alright" , Ae moved aside as she let Ai carry out the summons.
....
On a wide throne Ogunrinde sat relaxed, his gaze scanning through the hall, beside him at both sides of his armrest were Ai and Ae.
At his right hand front was ban, his bull horned demonic butler.
In the grand hall, the demonic entourage headed by the three commanders stood at the right side of the hall, while the officials took the left side.
Mao Lin stood at the formost of this side as the chief official.
A stern silence occupied the room, Ae carried a jug and wine cup and poured, before offering it to Ogunrinde.
Ogunrinde smiled, " Thank you ", receiving the cup, drinking before setting it at the armrest.
Ae blushed in response.
Ogunrinde just shook his head, Ae forever always contemplating his feelings and emotions, sometimes overthinking them
She knew he liked strong wine and offered it whenever he rubbed his chin.
Actually he did drink after rubbing his chin, but sometimes he just wanted to just rub his chin while contemplating.
But Ae had taken it as pattern, offering wine when he did so, possibly thinking it was better for her to be wrong and be rejected than to not offer it when her master wanted.
His face flushed as Ogunrinde brought his focus back to those of the hall.
His voice not loud yet deep diffused clearly in the hall.
" From now my court would be held in this order, let everyone one step forward step forward one after the other from the least ranking, stay your name, position, duties, and give reports "
Taking another sip from the wine cup at his armrest, Ogunrinde's face flushed as he continued.
" Begin from the right side "
